the own has a serious mental issues! He thinks because he owns the restaurant he can behave in such rude manner, he spits when the restaurant is full of customer dining, 2 hours hot pot session, he would remind you when your time is up!

We have dined here a number of times since it changed from the Lotus Garden to the Sichuan Kitchen. The food is above all authentic. On any given evening most of the clientele would be Chinese - a very good sign. Whilst not cheap it offers good value for money with the soft shell crab and pea sprouts real favourites. Staff are attentive and everything works well.

One of the worst meals I've had in my life. They looked gutted when I went in, perhaps because I'm not a regular or local. The service was terrible and I waited almost an hour for food which was bad when it arrived. The Singapore noodles were salty, dry and old and the special fried rice was bland. I left the chicken curry as it was disgusting with some very odd bits of meat in it. I was never even asked if I wanted another drink after my warm flat coke. Very bad service, terrible food and rude staff. 0/10 for me, no idea how they have got some reviews on here above one

The Ostia from Chengdu where I'm from. Authentic flavour, very welcoming staff, fresh ingredient. Although it's a bit far, but we do come back every now and then.

one of the best sichuan dish in london. The chili fish, feichang are all delicious, service is just ok. If you like spicy food, this is the place you must go

I came here alone for a meal a few months back know. I had egg fried rice and prawn curry the food was amazing I asked the waitress to make it a bit spicy which she did. A bit pricey but we'll worth it. I live nearby so I am due a visit here.

The type of Chinese food is supposed to be oily and spice and heavy, which they delivers 100%, they also do a lot of mild and light dishes. The vibe is good, sometimes reminds me of home.

It's always frustrating to hear people on here moaning about too many chilies, the oil, lack of vegan food etc. I imagine it's also very frustrating for the restaurant. Visited last night and had a fantastic meal - with lots of chilies and Sichuan peppercorns! One of the best regional meals we've had for a while and we have visited almost every Sichuan restaraunt in London. Service was great, friendly and efficient. A great place for authentic Chinese, if you're after sweet and sour chicken, best get it delivered from your local takeaway. We'll be back! Thanks.

Visited for dinner one night and must say I found the place quite ok. The dish that I ordered weren't spicy at all but had good quantity. Was looking for a spicy meal, hence asked for chilli oil. Service was ok, not the greatest. Food tasted good.

Spicy, salty, oily. It was nothing special. The dishes were the basics, nothing special. There are also not many vegetarian and vegan options as even the vegetable dishes had bits of meat in them. The oiliness was not nice at all as I could feel oil coating my lips. There was a salad that was very spicy and delicious but everything else was quite mediocre. The service was also mediocre, the staff did what you asked but that was it.

We ate here last night, tasty meal with a few disappointments. As I said before, when the menu says with chillies, it means it. This can make ordering a balanced meal difficult as the masses of chillies get strewn over everything which means you are scraping them off to get to some protein. The lamb ribs are very poor, undercooked and scrawny, the green beans still great as was the sizzling beef. Sichuan chopped chicken was so buried in chillies it took a while to pick out the small dice of ( very nice) chicken to make a portion. So pick out the few non chilli dishes if you can, but unfortunately the young guys serving us on a Sunday night obviously didnt want to work in Dad's ( or Uncle's) restaurant and give no advice or service for that matter, they just wanted to play on their phones. We will return and experiment more and, hopefully, make some inroads into getting better Chinese service ( futile I know)

As said above, this place is really Sichuan with no nods towards a standard Chinese menu. You WONT find sesame prawn toasts or spring rolls, sweet and sour or crispy duck BUT...be adventurous and you will be delighted ( you have to like chillies, not incendiary but really flavoursome) we had a really good time, friendly service 10% off for cash ( ask as its not publicised ) big portions of good quality meat ( not padded out with bamboo shoots and carrots!) We will return. Three main dishes, a veg dish and rice along with a few starters would be ample for four people.

Had a wonderful meal here of delicious, unusual and spicy dishes. Always a good sign when nearly all the customers are Chinese. Definitely the a cut above the other local (mostly pizza) restaurants.

It really is a jump into Chinese tradition. They dont sell water, and they will tell you to go buy water in the convenience next door. We ordered several dishes of which of course i cant explain names because they were in chinese with pictures but they all had two qualities: being yummi and superspicy. we were bursting and for 4 people I spent about £70 that is pretty ridicolous in London.

Western Chinese food with different expressions of chilli spice. The noodles are handmade on site. Dishes are simple and tasty. The spicy and sour soup noodle was a perfect balance of hot and sour. Se
