Wok & Grill in Tower Hamlets

Today I had a nice food in wok and grill. This is first time we went there to try their dishes and we were satisfied with their sauces and the chicken burger with curly fries was very nice, the wing also so saucy and nice grilled. The service from the man who was in the restaurant is very kind and polite. No long waiting time and ambiance is nice and decent. I would like to go and try some other dishes if them. I strongly recommend this place..!!

Thoroughly enjoyed our food, and kids enjoyed theirs. Staff were attentive and made the children’s noodles spice free - all the plates were empty!

I recently had a dining experience with a friend. My friend and I both know that I have a strong preference for rice dishes. When I placed my order, I specifically requested the fried rice with beef, a medium spice level, and a mango mojito. However, when my order arrived, I was surprised to find that I had been served an extremely spicy hot beef noodle dish instead. When I brought this error to the server's attention, he insisted that I had ordered noodles, even though I was certain that I had asked for rice. Although he reluctantly offered to correct the mistake, I declined because my friend had already received her meal, and I did not want to delay our dining experience. After I left the restaurant, I realized that the drink was not even a mango mojito; it was the original. The staff's demeanor was not welcoming, and I believe they need to improve their customer service skills. I will not be dining there again. I would like to warn others that they make mistakes and may make you doubt yourself.

Nice food prepared fast and very tasty. Would like to eat off a plate as eating out of boxes doesn't seem to taste the same when eating inside.

First time here with amazing food and hospitality. Rice and noodles were delicious and chicken and meat was more than enough. Grill chicken was better than Nandos and the chops were really really jussy and soft . Recommended

First time going to this restaurant, nice flavours and variety of options all halal and fresh. Nice selection of drinks like Salam cola and others. Suitable for taking the family or friends

Didn’t let my daughter eat with her sandwich from next door Evan Thew we bought 3 meals. said my daughter had to wait outside while we eat. She a baby what a strange person. said he was the manager. Stay well away from here terrible place disgusting attitude and poor service.i asked for. A refund bee my daughter shouldn’t have to wait outside while we eat he then said your food is ready and the food wasn’t ready at all. He then said you can’t get your money back. Another customer who is a legend I must add come up asked him are you really not letting the little girl eat here the manger then told the man be quiet it’s not your business and the man said I won’t be buying here either clearly a good person. I don’t write reviews ever but I had to on this one. DO NOT GO HERE

Average food quality for the price

Lack of space and too much noise Tables too near.. lack of staff in a Saturday night the food wasn't good only grilled chicken was nice..waiter didn't repeat order and miss one order...very poor experience over there.

We told them to do medium spice on their noodles. But I'm pretty sure it wasn't medium. Also it was to salty.

Dead. Fried chicken shop standard grilled chicken. The noodle dish was just greasy and bland. The steak chips and stir fried veg on the side for grilled chicken was good. Bbq sauce tasted like that cheap tangy sauce you get from lidl. Tables are sticky which was put off. There table sauces are decent.

Really delicious food, I don’t know what they put in their sauce but it was really good. Highly reccomend checking it out if you’re in the neighborhood. They also had good prices

Their sauce makes everything taste better than they are and they aren't bad. I recommend them for a quick bite.

An asian fusion which provides halal food and beverages.It is a place where you can appease your hunger with plenty of delicious dishes such as wings and chips,Noddles,Fried Rice,Flame-grilled burgers,Oreintal Starters on top of that various types of soup.I am too much fond of this Wok and Grill due to its savoury taste and appealing food texture.Whenever I get my spare time I visit there to placate my thirsty and hungry soul with its palatable super dishes.I strongly recommend this restaurant because their food variation and chefs are authentic in regards of cooking and all cuisines. Hope to see you there guys for checking their yummy cuisines and drinks to find a better taste of food which will never be forgotten.I'm reviewing them 10/10 from my part. I was at the work and grill today I started ordering food for my 14yr old son who has egg and fish allergy, and told them about his allergy and asked if they can serve him chick strip and chips, and grill chops. They staff at the front clearly said thay cannot cater for him due frying everything in same oil. I am very disappointed with the service they provided toady... Shock that they don't follow the allergy process for customers. No wonder they are out of business..

Its alright. Near queen mary. Halal. Quite spicy. For £8.49 a rice box is good enough these days. The rice is dry just like how I eat fried rice. Like the street vendors fried rice guy in my hometown :)

I bought noodles in chicken and black bean sauce, tasted amazing. Will definitely order again.

The noodles tasted like a south Asian curry. Burger seemed like it was from frozen but was okay. Wings tasted ok too and chips were made perfectly. Chilli sauce was very tangy not to my liking unfortunately. Other than the preferences the quality of the food itself was okay, change in the noodles sauce/spices may do better I suppose (less of a south Asian flavour)

The food was good. Really enjoyed it. But the service were really terrible. The staff were like they don't want to work. We ordered a side but somehow he forgot while taking order. After asking for that he started to argue that we didn’t ordered. Never going to dine in again.

Great place to have Grilled Chicken and Fries with passing quality time

My husband loves this place. He just can't comprehend why the drinks are so expensive. A can costs more than £2. Workers are pushy in selling their drinks. However, my husband always asks for tap water, of which every restaurant has to provide for free.

I was initially disappointed that Nando’s was full and went a couple doors down to here instead. Verily this was a blessing for by Allah the grill peri peri chicken here was superior to Nando’s. They also have their own delicious bottled sauces. I would be interested in purchasing some if they were for sale. The pad Thai was also very good. I asked them to turn the AC on and they happily obliged. It appears to be a criminally underrated joint. There is no reason to queue up for Nando’s nextdoor when this is waiting for your patronage.

Been coming here for over 5 years solo and with friends. Have spent a small fortune over the years eating here as its got the best wings I've had (personal preference). Their sauces (miss medium hot) are a lot more flavourful than nandos. Overall its my go to place in London.

Very good food, an nice alternative to Nando’s next door (they even offer chicken with 2 sides for the same price as said chain restaurant). Grilled chicken was cooked well, as were the lamb chops. Malaysian fried rice with beef was also good. Service was excellent, would recommend as a solid local restaurant.

Long story short ordered prawn fried rice take away was charged for prawns Went home to my disappointment it was chicken fried chicken. Went a few days later sat down to eat in. So I ordered prawn fried rice and told the person at the till he gave me chicken last time and to discount the fried prawn rice cos I was charged 2 pounds extra. The guy at the till spent 10 mins arguing with me telling me how it was my fault they got the order wrong. Lost my appetite forced him to pay up the difference £2 and walked out. Joke of a restaurant no customer service skills whatsoever. This was written by some one with 10+ years of management experience. I predict this business will be dust in 1 or 2 years time. Reason being poor customer service and complaint handling procedures.

I liked the food there because everything on the Wok & Grill menu looked extremely appetizing.

Decent place to eat. Beef fried rice is good.

I could see by the little map my delivery guy got lost. But he still managed to get to me in the delivery time frame. I ordered the beef kids burger. It was a little dry and could have used a bit more mayo or ketchup. It would have benefited with a couple of gherkin slices, too. The included chips were standard. The other thing I ordered with the 5 pack chicken wings. My sense of taste has intensified since having covid and these wings blistered my tongue and lips. (yes, most people lose their sense of taste, I'm backward) However, this is totally a personal issue, and others may find them perfect. I pulled out my ranch dressing. They do have a nice char-broiled tange to them.

They have charged me extra, I went yesterday and ordered 3 burgers and chips costing £5.95 each, I checked the receipt the day after due to me being in a hurry and noticed they’ve charged practically doubled the price which is not alright, they are a really dodgy establishment

Ordered steak cut chips, beef wrap and chicken wings. Delivery on time (ty). Chips arrived hot and maintained heat throughout the meal, fluffy on the inside. Wrap was large, with beef soft and not too spicy (I have a sensitivity to spice and had no problem with it), the creamy sauce was a ketchup/mayo blend and there was enough of it. I am a small person and it filled me up. So was unable to try the wings. I suspect since I liked the wrap, I'll be okay with the wings, tomorrow :) Enjoyed the meal and will be returning.

The portions are extremely small for what you pay it’s not worth it at all. If you charge people this much money at least give a amount.

This is the last time me and my family will come here. Tasteless noodles and fried rice, decent chicken. Service wasn’t great, toilets not clean. The sides came late. Small portion of cheap coleslaw. Over 10 years of customer but no more. Spend a bit more and go to Franzo’s

The delivery man gave me the wrong food

Has to be one of the worst value meals I have ever ordered. If they can't get a skewer of satay chicken right, they need to close shop. A complete waste of nearly 95 Pounds on a TakeAway delivery. Main Courses were marginally more edible than the starters, but just as bad. My feeling is a bunch of Bangladeshi chefs are trying to dish out Chinese Food and thats where the problem lies.

This is NOT authentic Chinese Food. It is probably the worst food I’ve had and at a cost of £91. The Chicken Satay - which is normally one of the nicest items was rock hard and with NO flavour whatsoever. Save your money and go elsewhere

The chicken Malaysian noodles used to be my favourite. I think there’s new owners and it doesn’t taste the same as it used to. I used to always order that but it’s taste has downgraded a lot. It tastes like 4 days old and the noodles are so hard. It smells very wierd!

I eat here once or twice a week, love the food and customer service. Honestly not much to say cause it’s worth every single penny. When I don’t know what to eat, Wok and Grill never disappoints and always consistent.

We were craving for some noodles so chose to go there as it was my local. The food was awful!!!! Our noodles along with a stir fry was drenched in oil. It was sickly and was litrellally dripping in it. Chicken strips were also the same. So much batter that it was falling off. Chicken fillet burger was nice. Staff were apologetic and rounded our bill to £50 instead of £54. Food was overpriced. All was blamed on the new chef. This didn't make a difference to us as it ruined our experience. Certainly will not be going back!!!

Decided to try this out as it’s just opened up new. The place looks really nicely decorated and clean. Was very busy when I went in and unfortunately waited 25 minutes just for some bbq chicken wings and noodles. However, the staff were really friendly. I only had the chicken wings and the noodles, my sister ate. The wings were really nice, crispy and well seasoned. Will definitely come back and try something else off the menu.

I tried their feast for 2 where you get grill chicken, chowmein and starter. Their food was amazing and very tasty. I want go there again and again.

Seen the mixed reviews here. Maybe we got lucky. Ordered black bean curry with noodles and prawn and it was delicious. Mum ordered Malaysian fried rice with beef and she was also very happy. I thought the prices were fair and the staff were also good. Only downside was the wait time. Otherwise a solid experience eating in.

Food was pretty poor and did not enjoy the noodle dishes but grilled chicken was nice. Unfortunately most of the food was left over and could not finish. Friendly service. Quite expensive for what it is. Maybe we went on bad day but personally wouldn’t recommend.

I was blown away by this place my friend took me here first time, friendly staff excellent customer service food quality on point definitely recommend this place, try out the Malaysian Fried Rice with chicken, also lamb chops nice & juicy.

Their ‘House Special’ Stir Fry. Is the best, their sauces are mouthwatering.
