Amazing food and views. Their Dim Sum is fantastic. Our server Alex was friendly and attentive.

Food was great, I come here regularly but as we had a private dining suite the waiter was dedicated to our booth but was not around most of the time. I understand there is other tasks to do but management have to ensure this is met at all times. The waiter was great, smiley and polite but the management of Hutongs structure needed to be tweaked but overall 5 stars. Fresh food and cocktails ⭐️

The service was extremely slow for brunch where you are meant to have feee flow drinks. We ended up having 3 rounds. The food was very cold. We all ordered beef sauce and instead of everyone having their little bowl. They put everything together and asked us to share as a table of 6. Which was unfair. The brunch is quite expensive and we was expecting better. Our waiter was also very abrupt and not accommodating. I went for my birthday and unfortunately did not have a good time.

Food was delicious and our waiter was amazing, would definitely go back, Atmosphere was beautiful but just a little too dark for me as we were unable to get good pictures for my partner’s birthday.

I had an absolutely incredible experience at Hutong! From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance was amazing with its elegant decor and stunning views of London. The service was impeccable, with staff who were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. It’s clear they care deeply about creating a memorable experience for their guests. This place is such a waste of potential. The location and atmosphere are a 10/10 but the service and employees?? 1. We were there on time and had to wait 10 minutes to be seated which is totally fine but when we wanted to order dessert the waiter tells us that we don‘t really have time left to do so. Normally, we would still have 20 mins left. There‘s a rule that you have to order for 80 pounds per person minimum which is also okay but then let us enjoy and give us the time we need to eat. 2. We were three people and one of us is vegetarian + alergic to mushrooms. Every vegetarian dish (almost) included mushrooms. We kindly asked to make the dishes without mushrooms, the waiter asked the chef and came back to us but after that he completely had an attitude. 3. The man working in front of the restaurant wouldn‘t let us take pictures properly. First he told us that we can’t it was okay, later on we found a spot where everyone takes pictures, as we are taking them he asks us to go away because he wants to take pictures of others (its okay to do so but everyone has to wait for their turn and it was finally our turn and he ruined it) 4. The food in general tasted bad. Everything. Not just the vegetarian dishes. They use terrible sauces for the food. Also they don’t include a lot of ingredients which are in the food to the card. Completely weird. 5. It was a birthday dinner and the other 2 tables who had birthday dinners as well were treated much better than we were just because one was vegetarian and alergic to mushrooms.

This was more than a meal. This was an experience I will remember for the rest of my life. Our Italian waiter, whose name escapes me at this moment, was a firecracker of the evening and made our day. I've been to hutong before, but not like like this. Set menu and lots of wine, recommend this place every day of the week.

Great service, nice atmosphere and stunning views, however, for £100 per person you don't have a bottomless experience, we were allowed 6 drinks and there were only 5-6 drink options. The starters were great but the noodles and rice were very bland, no flavour, a chinese takeaway is more flavoursome. If you want the bottomless brunch it's an extra £60 and I'm sorry it's not worth the money. I would go back to Hutong but for a standard dinner.

Expensive food compared to quality. way too big piece of dried chilli in several dishes. No sauce in the dishes. Good Peking and good view.

Starters were amazing - main courses werenot so good as waiter completely told us the wrong explanation of the meaks which we did complain about but still got charged fll prcie and £41 service charge - please try to do better

Fabulous bar tender and service - with a view to die for

It was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. The staff didn't seem to understand what was wanted from them and showed no courtesy. Additionally, the waiters had no idea how to set a table properly. I have rarely experienced something like this and will definitely not come back. We were also rudely told that the minimum consumption was £80 per person, even if we had ordered less.

We requested table by window and the staff said people want to have window experience sit by window that made me feel not welcomed never felt like that in any restaurant that made us feel small in front of other customer I want to know what customers are giving and we not able to give first contact with this restaurant made me put off and food was rushed in we couldn’t relax table was too too small we had food falling around no one came back to ask for another drink we really had worst experience and will not be going back ever

We especially loved the crispy deboned lamb ribs; they were a standout! The timing and pacing of each course were flawless, just as we requested. Alex, our waiter, took special care to ensure everything arrived at the right time, allowing us to enjoy a leisurely pause between courses. A big thank you to Alex for his kind, warm, and genuinely funny demeanor, which made us feel at home. His attentive service truly made the night feel personal and memorable. Hutong is worth every bit for a romantic evening, and we can't wait to come back!

Amazing views, beautifully decorated, service was impeccable. Some of the dishes were perfect (Peking Duck and the fried noodles, also the dim sum). A couple of dishes were a bit too heavily fried and too oily - the prawns and lobster.

The food not as good as expected, at least it’s not worth the price. I can tell, it is the one of the worst wagyu beef I have ever had. I can still smell the stink of beef a bit. The views is not bad. But if u ever tried the authentic fresh made Chinese food, you will know how mid this restaurant is. By the way, it is not authentic taste of Peking duck, literally scam.

I am gluten free and rice intolerant. They had very few options for me. The food was very unimpressive and extremely expensive. Drinks were great. The view was amazing. Service was good.

Well what can I say - I haven't yet been to the restaurant and my impression of it is already poor. I called today to confirm reservation for next week and the person that answered the phone (female) was rather abrupt and curt. As a result I have read some of the reviews on here and lots are commenting on the poor and unfriendly service which matched my experience just nie. These reviews have had a response from the restaurant however clearly not much has been done about it. I am seriously considering cancelling the booking and going elsewhere 🤔

Food was good but i’ve eaten better chinese in london. You’re obviously paying for the view. Our waiter was nice. Bad points- the whole place has air con on so high i was shivering the whole time even asked them to turn it down but they couldn’t. there was literally a breeze going down my back so by the time they brought all the food out at once it was dry and cold with in minutes. Lambs ribs were bone dry and cold so we had that removed from the bill. I’ve been to lots of top restaurants in London as i live here and when your paying 300/400 pound you expect so much more

We arrived for a birthday celebration. The restaurant had allocated us a window seat, which was great - but right next to a live DJ and speaker. It was too loud to hear each other speak, so we had to move to a different table. I felt the DJ was a nice touch, was fun, but the music vibe was wrong. I would have preferred something a little more Hotel Costes, less of the high tempo Techno which my daughter actually said was making her feel very anxious..... We then placed our orders, only to be told about 30 minutes later that the specials weren't available because they closed the kitchen. This was the special that we had requested when making the booking. My view is the kitchen stays open until all your reservations have placed their orders. Eventually the manager came over to tell us that they definately couldn't offer the specials. I said that if they wanted their service charge paying, to go get it made. 10 minutes later, the special arrived. The rest of the meal was great, nice food (not exceptional) service was good, but not amazing. The view WAS amazing, my family will remember the meal and the sun setting over London. Then, the bill arrived. It was £550 for 2 adults, two kids. (Over 10 yrs old pay adult prices) so not much alcohol. That included 15% service charge. And then we were 'invited' to pay a tip to our waiter. 10% was the lowest we could choose. I really dislike this. If you are charging £70 for a half a peking duck, you should be able to pay your staff properly. And certainly not add 25% in various service surcharges. It was a nice experience, I wont be rushing back though. If you want high end Chinese food, and exemplary service, go to China Tang.

The food was okay, but the fried rice was a bit hard. The most annoying thing was that we went there at dinner time, and the lighting was so dim that we were having difficulty reading the menu as well. We need to switch or mobile flash to read out. People usually go there to enjoy the view and take some pictures. It was tough to take some pictures because of the very dim lighting. Don't go for dinners there.

We were so looking forward to our evening at Hutong to celebrate 50th birthday , Was disappointed with the experience. The chairs are uncomfortable , place very average, the food was nice but nothing different from any other Chinese restaurant, didn’t feel the warmth in the service , very rushed for time (only 1:45 mins per table ), the manager telling off a server standing just behind our table ( he should have been even quicker in serving ) and the take away was packed in a cake box , had its oil leaking out and staining my outfit ….got all this for spending £400.00 . Zero experience of fine dining . Have been to many other expensive and fine dining places , have always been pleased BUT feeling very irritated and disappointed and ripped off by HUTONG’s experience. Would rate it no more than 3 star

The food was extra outstandig, so many tastes and a lot of creativity. The service was also very good, probably the explanation for non-native English people could be improved. Regarding the ambiente: it was very dark (it was very difficult to read the menue) BUT nice.

Francesco was amazing. We think with the starters you bring out all of the dishes, you should let people choose out of the 6 options what ones they would like and then have them as unlimited. This is to avoid food waste if you don’t like some of the starters.

The food is below average for the price you pay for it I guess you are paying for the view and not the food. Overall the restaurant and bathrooms are so dark you can’t see anything maybe this is to distract from the below average food. The view is great. the waiter forgot our chicken main course we ended up eating the noodles that would have gone with our chicken. For the prices you pay I would expect to be blown away by the food and the service to be better.

All the food we ate was warm at best, the food needed to be hotter and fresher. Seemed like the food had been sat on cold plates for awhile and by the time it was brought to the table it was more or less cold. Real shame as the quality was high.

We went to Hutong for my girlfriend’s birthday. For someone who has experienced most of London’s finest restaurants, I can truly say the food at Hutong is the best I’ve ever had. The service by Darshan and the rest of the team was amazing and would strongly recommend to anyone!

I was here last week and again this week. The staff are amazing here and Francesco our waiter couldn't do more than enough for us. He was polite, friendly and helped with recommendations with the food.

The service I received from Francesco was outstanding. I dine regularly at some of the finest restaurants around the world and I would seriously struggle to think of any establishment where I have received better service; very personable and extremely knowledgeable when it came to the menu helping with recommendations that were delicious. The beef recommendation was to die for. I look forward to seeing Francesco the next time I dine here.
