I recently visited London to meet up with family, i came across Shu Castle by chance. We ordered szechuan cuisine like sauteed lobster with ginger & spring onion and szechuan beef in chilli oil to name but a couple of the various dishes we had. It was amazingly good i have never tasted szechuan food before only the normal genre of chinese food. Next time i'm in London will be visiting again already can't wait.

Pedí unos platos vegetarianos y quedé muy impresionado con el interior del restaurante cuando fui a recoger la comida. El personal era muy amable y servicial.

Si te apetece ofrendas que descongelar coles llevase a un centímetro de su vida y arrojado por accidente a un plato del día siguiente, este es el lugar. Si sólo habíamos tomado una foto antes de que nos fuéramos de asco. Por desgracia, no.

Mientras visitábamos la familia en Londres, pensamos en probar algo nuevo y encontré Shu Castillo en Old Kent Road. Nunca hemos intentado Szechuan antes y nos pareció más sabroso que comida china normal. La decoración es preciosa y el personal es de lo más acogedor. Nuestra experiencia en general fue de primera categoría con el personal recomendar platos para probar. Si alguna vez te encuentres en Shu Castillo recomendamos Kung Pao pollo y la berenjena cacerola de barro.

Best Chinese meal I have ever had. Szechuan crab was amazing as was the Hot and Sour Soup. Staff were extremely friendly and very good value for money.

Aunque el exterior no es abrumador, Shu Castillo es un restaurante fantástico. Escondido en la Old Kent Road, es bastante fácil perderse. Debido a esto es normalmente tranquila y casi siempre podrá conseguir una mesa.

Metimos en torno a este lugar anoche con mi pareja y la madre, ya que me apetecía chino y este era el más cercano. Realmente encantado. Schezuan; conocido por el menú; una sorprendente y intrigante variedad de platos basados en los despojos estrafalaria, y una selección de mariscos.

49 Camberwell Church StreetGreat food, a little spicy for me, but I should have requested less chilly! It's the first time I have visited their new premises, I like the new decor it has a nice ambience. Good service. Will definitely return. As an update, I returned with a friend and had the noodles with beef and a serving of fried dumplings. I requested the noodles without the spiciness, so the waiter checked to see if it was possible, and it arrived without the chillies. Absolutely delicious! I am going to be dreaming about these noodles! Can't wait to go again (sadly, I am not local). The whole meal was lovely and very good value. Great service.

31 St. Thomas StreetWir waren zu dritt. Die Aussicht ist Super. Für ein Restaurant in dieser Preis Kategorie ist die Hintergrundmusik viel zu laut. Das animiert die Gäste und das Personal auch laut zu sprechen. Man will nicht wirklich länger bleiben als die 90 Minuten die einem bei der Reservierung zu gestanden werden. Schön essen gehen geht anders. Das essen ist gut aber hofnungslos überteuert. Das Personal ist gut und freundlich aufgrund der erwähnten Lautstärke wirkt alles etwas hippelig nervös. Das einem 15% als Trinkgeld automatisch auf die Rechnung gesetzt werden ... ist ein No-go Ein zweites mals wird es nicht geben. There were three of us. The view is fantastic. For a restaurant in this price range, the background music is far too loud. This encourages guests and staff to speak loudly. You don't really want to stay longer than the 90 minutes allotted to you when you make your reservation. There's no way to go out for a nice meal. The food is good but hopelessly overpriced. The staff is good and friendly, but the aforementioned noise level makes everyone seem a bit jumpy and nervous. The 15% tip automatically added to the bill... that's a no-go. There won't be a second visit

53 Camberwell RdI made the mistake of ordering grilled fish. Apparently I was supposed to have told the waiter when ordering that I did not want the fish too dry. The grilled fish was hard and dry. It was a waste of money and response from the guy who served us was very unprofessional even though he was a likeable character. Won't be going back here.
