The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Colchester East of England

Stunning food , lovely lady ,,so friendly , can't wait to come back to try your hot pot !!! Highly recommend!!!

We went not realising it had changed from buffet self service to order as you go. It was good that all was cooked as you order but the selection wasn’t as vast as previously. The waitress literally stood a foot away from us which was off putting and she kept trying to get my son to ask for sausages and nuggets, I said we didn’t want these but she still brought them out. The food was nice but we won’t be rushing back.

Great food and friendly staff, it does get very busy because the food is awesome, I try and go as often as I can when work allows.

We’ve been going to Wongs for at least 30 years, first Tim and now Tom. Lovely food and always ready on time. Tom recognises who I am as soon as I say hello. I would definitely recommend them.😃

I try it for the first time but the food is very disappointing It’s not worth trying or the money Fried Chicken has no taste and the lemon sauce thin like water

i got wings from here and the wings were soaked in soy sauce spilling out the box andbjust some reheated wings i could get better from a frozen section and not worth £7.90 i could not stomach them and threw them away tasted like it was from those fried chicken shops that sell wings for like £2

If I could give 0 stars I would. Absolutely appalling. My partner ordered again tonight as wanted to give you guys another chance as the food recently has been bad. Today 1/6/25 he found a DEEP FRIED COCKROACH with his meal!! Will never be returning!

Excellent dim sum and the excellent menu choice was very good too. The restaurant was pretty full which is always a good sign so it’s always essential to book. The staff are friendly and very efficient. The restaurant has a good size car park.

Food delivered was tasteless (Beef Kung Poo), Chicken satay was as tough as old boots with a spicy hot satay sause (!)...........Even a staple of a crispy pancake roll was awful, more a commercial steak bite type thing from Greggs. Avoid this place. We called to inform them of our disappointment but all they could say was 'yeah, yeah, yeah'. Perhaps something was lost in translation. All in all, £42 was wasted. AVOID.

Food was ok, however sauces a bit runny! Will be going back to Beijing for next meal just has that quality edge

First time trying this place and definitely do not regret it !!. The food was absolutely beautiful as being so new to Colchester was delighted to find such an amazing takeaway place so close by. Super clean,great friendly staff. Once again can't complement the food enough so fresh,hot and tasty will definitely be ordering again as such amazing price highly worth it !.

I’m writing to you today to express my pure Hatred towards this Chinese, we ordered on a Friday night and when it arrived we were missing 3 items, and in all honesty I’m am MEGA MEGA fuming, we phoned up about the lost meals and they said they can’t do anything about it, at this point my husband was crying. We would just like let the world know that you’d be better off eating you own hand then this Chinese, thank you and goodnight 🙏(we did still eat it in the end, but yet again it was horrible ;)
