A lovely little spot to have dinner in, small, cosy and secluded from the din of the street despite being quite central (in a little nook just off of Magdalene Bridge). The dishes are all Vietnamese specialities, all prepared fresh, with care, and quite perfectly sized (despite what some of the other reviews have stated, my colleagues and I actually found them to be more than large enough to feed a range of adults, although of course nowhere near as enormous as the sorts of plates one might expect to find in one of the innumerable local pubs). The drinks are limited to non-alcoholic options, as the restaurant doesn't hold a liquor licence, but the restaurant does offer per-person corkage for those who'd like to bring their own (which is especially convenient given that The Cambridge Wine Merchants is just off to the other side of the bridge, and open as long as Thanh Binh itself); the only way it could possibly be any more convenient is if the restaurant also offered ice buckets to store wine in (although, in our case, the staff were incredibly kind and simply offered to keep it stored in their fridge before our plates came out instead). The prices are fair for Cambridge (about £20 for a main, £10 for a starter or a dessert, £4 for a drink, and £3 for corkage), especially given the freshness, range, and sorts of ingredients used (of which I would especially recommend the fresh juices, particularly the passion fruit, which I thought was one of the absolute best I've ever had; as well as the quail with garlic on a bed of lettuce, prawn curry, and duck curry).

More available drinks in the flaming wok than tescos next door. A bottle of coke is 20p cheaper than tescos. Chips are freshly prepared rather than being sit in the warmer. Available parking at the front

Lovely Schechuan beef, jasmine tea steamed rice, ate outside facing interesting street. Very convenient location too. Would definitely go back.

Why is this not called Golden Dragon - it took a lot of finding on Tripadvisor? Anyway - we had a delivery to the local Travelodge and it arrived on time and the guy was helpful in finding us. We had two "specials" and they were tasty - all good.

Tried few dishes here for dinner. The lamb stewed is good. However the beef/chicken/pork are not very good. Besides, It’s not spicy enough as a Chinese North East style dishes.

A hidden germ in Cambridge. Extremely satisfying and scrumptious experience. Outstanding stewed beef brisket casserole, Chinese cabbage stir fry with vinegar, Singapore fried rice noodle which my family all agree are even better than those in most of Hong Kong restaurants. The crispy pork belly and veg dumpling are nice They also offer a good choice of vegan dishes which are particularly appealing to me as a vegetarian. The ramen chef js not around unfortunately so my son went for shredded pork & preserved veg homemade thin rice noodle but he found yummy as well. They are offering 50% off for today and tomorrow another big surprise and bonus for us! Great staff with excellent service with nice atmosphere. Seating and layout are spacious. Chuhou Beef Brisket and Carrot Bao: Super high quality! ! ! Vinegar braised cabbage, Xingzhou fried rice: unexpected surprise, delicious! ! Pickled mustard pork rice noodles, tofu and leek dumplings, garlic rapeseed: delicious! Lots of vegetarian options! Another unexpected surprise: half price today and tomorrow👍🏻😃🙏

The food is overpriced, and the service is poor, the restaurant seems to be not offering to hire a waiter/waitress, no one can be seen unless the dishes been delivered , even though they charge a 10% service fee

Very efficient service and delicious food. There is also convenient parking nearby for easy pick up and go. Would definitely recommend.
