The best restaurants serving Chinese food in East Midlands

We took our parents for a meal (6 adults in total). We just moved to Bingham so we are checking out all the bars, restaurants and venues. When we walked in it certainly looks amazing, massive wow factor! But then the food.... Chewy ribs, very chewy. Rice was clumped up and was dry on top and soggy and cold beneath. The prawns were nice. The beef was like chewing on leather. The sauces that the various meats/veg were all tasty but the meat seemed all to be such poor quality (or maybe that's their cooking). We all ended up eating the veggie option. I can't say we'd ever be back for food but we may go in for a cocktail in the bar area, if I can eventually persuade my partner back in... At the moment all we can think about is £235 on chewy meat!

Booked a table to eat tonight, we've been quite a few times before to eat in the restaurant and it's always been nice food and good service, never busy . Tonight we were the only ones in the restaurant and after waiting for 15 minutes after been seated noone had been to take our drinks order let alone our food order and when my husband looked down at the 2 waiters at the bar they were looking at something on one of their phones so we got up and left. One of the guys said oh my god I'm so sorry as they'd obviously forget we were there. Not acceptable at all, needless to say we won't be going back again.

Lovely local restaurant. We stopped off here on our way from a day out as we were looking for somewhere for a bite to eat. What we found was a lovely restaurant with tasty fresh food and somewhere that catered well for a Vegan in the party. I’m quite envious of the locals that they have this on their doorstep.

This place is top notch, delivered to Welford which is a fair way, food was fresh, tasty and hot and fast delivery. Highly recommended.

Chicken curry with chips, and sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style, my curry didn't even taste of curry!!! So sweet!!! Just mush !!! Realy bad texture in the mouth!! , Hong Kong style chicken about the same, never again 😑

Stay clear bad customer service they tell you delivery up to an hour and it takes 2 hours staff all sound fed up the place should be called the titanic. Will never order from there again.

It can be a bit hit and miss. Went on Friday for takeaway the chicken chow mein which you would expect to be a golden yellow colour was dark brown and congealed and went in the bin. The spare ribs were bone dry and went in the dog who also had trouble eating them. The chips had been refried and were also dry and joined the chow mein in the bin. My wife had a prawn curry with egg fried rice and while the curry wasn’t too bad the rice was dark in colour and tasteless (went in bin). The food from here can be half decent at times but when it’s bad it’s very bad. It’s the last time l waste my money here as the bad times are outnumbering the good ones

There food is really good and then people are very kind 😀 and I also now the boy he goes my school 😀😀

I don’t normally leave reviews , but I really enjoyed my Chinese that I felt like I had to. I’ve struggled to find a nice Chinese in Gainsborough after having some bad experiences at some other local Chinese which I won’t name. I was losing hope of ever having a decent Chinese local to me. The meal from china chef arrived before the estimated time , it was very hot. The dishes were tasty. Wandering dragon, special fried rice, beef fried rice, chicken balls. All Dishes were lovely, the meat was all cooked lovely. No complaints, very happy.

Ordered meal tonight. Tastes really nice especially Salt and Pepper chips and dry special fried rice. Highly recommended
