Haven't been in for a while, however king prawn curry was lovely tonight with plenty of prawns, onion and muchrooms. Just the way i like it. Egg fried rice could of been a bit fluffyer. I'll give a 4 : -)

First time order here. I'm that guy who nearly drop the food off the counter lol. I order pork chow mein, chicken balls with curry sauce, barbecue spare ribs. The food was delicious packed with incredible flavor. Best chinese I had In a very long time.I will be ordering again from here!

Very good takeaway. Good food and prices. Worth mentioning that it's cash only and the prices are different than shown on the menu pictures, but have not increased too much.

I have been going to this takeaway for many years and it's the only one I return to.

This was always my go to for Chinese food. NO MORE! This evening all of our food was ruined by too much salt. Totally inedible.

Fantastic place for a succulent Chinese meal. Most Chinese take outs can be a little hit or miss but these have a been excellent every time.

Surprised they don't have more positive ratings to be honest, we LOVE this Chinese. And whenever we've had it with friends or recommended it to friends, they've raved about it too. The outside of the building is very run down and not very inviting and the waiting area is freezing all year round, but the food is unrivalled in this area.

Been going to precious stone for years. Tried loads of dishes on the menu and can't fault anything. Great value for a takeaway. Highly recommend.

We are always a bit wary of ordering takeaway on one of the busiest evenings of the year but Precious Stone did not disappoint. We called as soon as they opened and pre ordered for 6.30pm. It was a large order as we had friends visiting. Our food was ready on time and hot. The lady who took our order over the phone was so friendly and efficient. The dishes we chose were delicious. I particularly enjoyed the chicken satay. Highly recommend.

Sorry for the low stars precious stone , but your food used to be so much better I'm sorry to say I'll go else where in future, the rice tasted like soap , spare ribs had no meat on um 😅 just disappointing really . SINCE!! I wrote the last review, the service excellent and I've just had the most delicious meal from there nice tasty just as I remember it to have been

Best food and best people serving you, been going here 15+ years now great people and great service never been let down here, been other places aswell if busy or closed on specific days or couldn't get there(no delivery) but never as good as here so make the trip now.

By far the best Chinese in town. Foods always pipping hot. Staff are very friendly and great selection of delicious dishes. Their salt and chilli chips must be one of the best things in the world. Few of my favourite dishes they serve are the Singapore vermicelli, beef on chilli sauce, fighting dragon and the chow mein.

I regularly use this takeaway, only once have they got my order wrong and I got more than I paid for. Quality and hot food, and recommend 101%.

You are advertised as being open until 23:30 on a Saturday, but I practicaly had the door slammed in my face at at 23:25. I know this close to the closing time but t i got the impression that going home is more important than the quality of service to your customers.

Food good, but allows all and sundry to throw wasted food and packaging on the pathways and on property, they know who does it and continue to let them do it as long as they are taking money.....this invites pests including rats and the locals are fed up.

Really tasty food, good service

Never been here and never will again! All the food was really salty, rice was mushy, chow mein was really greasy, food tated really bland... Not enjoyable wouldn't recommend!

Excellent Chinese food and fast service if you have placed a phone order. They only take cash.

Placed an order over the phone, fifteen minutes later my order was ready for collection. Everything was well packed and I was given complimentary prawn crackers and fortune cookies. My only criticism was the lack of Covid protections. Staff were waring masks, but too many customers were inside and were not wearing masks.

Food tasted reheated, no flavour to the crispy shredded beef. The chicken balls were okay good but the sauce was more sour than sweet. Not the best Chinese ive ever had, most likely one of the worst.

I chose a prawn omelette, but it was so salty. I thought I'd been dipped in the sea. The pancake roll, I also ordered the Dripping in Greece not very good food unfortunately. I will not be visiting there again.

Absolutely love this place. I loved it as a customer and then as an employee and again as a customer. The people are amazing and the food definitely lives up to the mouth watering smell. I'd definitely advise trying the salt and pepper chips and the honey and lemon chicken.

I've used this Chinese for years now on a weekly basis but just recently the service has been terrible, last week they missed meals off our order which living 6 miles away is annoying in its self when it's collection only and yesterday they said the collection time was 20 mins so I arrived after 25mins and was then left stood in the shop for 50+mins and it wasn't until I mentioned something they started cooking my order. I don't mind a wait but I would have much rather have waiting in the comfort of my own home not stood in a packed shop with little seating . I will not be returning which is a shame as the foods good but I'd much rather spend my £50 a week somewhere else . 😏

I used to enjoy this place but not sure if they changed hands or got a new chief in a few years ago but everything seems a bit wet these days.

It's a 5 mile round trip from my house. But it's worth it. I've been going for over 20years. Still good food and service.

Well, i don't eat meat (pork chicken beef or lamb) I do eat shellfish though. So I ordered Singapore noodles I asked for no meat just vegetables and the shellfish (shrimp) as I had opted for no meat I asked for some cashew nuts instead. They said yes but normally charge £1 for the nuts but because I've had no meat they charged me 50p 😂 like do nuts cost more than meat? If I do order again I shall ask for the meat to be put in a separate container since they charged me more to have no meat I actually don't think I will be coming back tbh

The one in hinckley is awesome. I have worked there and been a customer for many years. After having moved away I can say it's one of the things I miss. Nowhere else can compare to the food here and the people are extremely friendly.

I used to have all my Chinese takeaway from here but after it changed hands we have only been a few times as we were not so happy with the food We went earlier this month as our new regular was closed and was very disappointed yet again. That will be our last attempt.

Used to really enjoy the food from Precious Stone but have been disappointed with our last two take aways. Not sure if any staff have changed, using an 'alternative' Chinese now.

Tonight we needed a takeaway Chinese meal; Precious Stone was recommended by a relative. The menu is quite extensive, although typical for the UK palet. The meal was chosen from across the range including black bean, sweat and sour and shredded meats. The only criticism I would make is that one of the meals was too salty. As a general comment, some of the best Chinese style takeaway food I have eaten for a good few years. You know when something is right when the clientele request their "usual" meal we they walk through the door; the phone was so ringing of the hook with telephone orders.

Have had food from here a few times now and it's consistently good, better than good actually, highly recommend to anyone. The duck is fantastic. Not had an average dish yet, everything has been great.

If you're looking for a good Chinese takeaway in Hinckley, I can truthfully say, I've never found a better one.

Fab take away! Really full of flavour and generous portions. Best beef Szechuan I've had! I only wish they'd do take away as I've moved further away!

Excellent food, the special mixed curry with fried rice is my meal of choice, while MrsK goes for the King Prawn Chow Mein. We probably have a takeout once a month and always enjoy it.

Best in town enough said. Delivery service would be my only bit of advice. I really would recommend the service, food and whole experience

The food here is always good. You don't have to wait long and you can see them cooking the food right in front of you. We get a takeaway from here nearly every week.

Above average takeaway, we normally order one that delivers - just for ease, but decided to go and fetch one from Precious Stone - as its not far from us and has always been good.

Having moved out of Hinckley I still can't find a Chinese that rivals the food from precious stone! I will happily drive to pick it up and take back to Earl Shilton because of how delicious it is!! I wish they did delivery-although I would order more! Not good for the new year diet!

I only wish these delivered. This is probably my favourite Chinese take out in Hinckley. Generally speaking the service is quick and portions are a good size especially for the money. Beef Chow Mein is one of my favs, big slices of tender beef.
