Been having takeaways from here for last 5 years. The last 3 occasions the quality has declined badly. Sadly will not be returning

The wait for a collection border was ridiculous waited the 20 mins that was stated on phone and then stood and waited in the store for a further half hour

One of the worst takeaway waited in the shop for 50mins only to be told she had given me my food ( which is not true ) otherwise I would not be sitting there.then she said the driver had delivered it ?????? when I told her she don't know where I live she admitted that she forgot my order.i got my money back and went elsewhere absolute joke

Very poor waited nearly 1 hour in the shop only to be told by the girl behind the counter that she remembers giving me my food,????? When I told her that was not true she said it had been delivered so I told her how can they deliver they didn't know my address ( I walked in the shop and ordered my food ) I got a refund and went elsewhere. Been here last 2 times and it's been shocking last time my order had food missing absolute waste of time won't be going back

I have used this place since it first opened, The current team serve up very good Chinese food. I have tried others in the area but this place is by far the best.

Have used this restaurant many times. Spent over £50 on food this evening - only to find the takeaway had not fulfilled the order. Naturally sought the missing bits and was given a cock and bull story. Asked for a refund - and denied it - and was then spoken to badly by a young woman. Morale of the story: don't buy from a place that treats its customers with utter contempt. Will now be spending my shilling elsewhere.

We've been here many times over the last five years, having good and bad experiences, and always agreeing to give it one more try. However today's plum chicken wasn't sweet at all, just vinegary and tasteless. Rice a non event. Crackers were just crackers, hard to mess them up. We'll be going to Kam Ying in Hinckley in future, and if you don't want to be disappointed, we'd recommend doing the same.

We were staying at Mallory Meadows for a few nights and decided to have a Chinese takeaway for tea in the evening. We ordered and waited inside the takeaway. Food was lovely and we had no problems with anything at all. If we had been staying longer we probably would have had another take out from them later in the week.

Good food. Fast delivery but my beef is that they only accept cash. I'd have thought after this pandemic they would have taken their customers (and staff) a little more seriously offering some kind of card payment.

Ordered a take out to be delivered and when it arrived it was incorrect. Rang them back to get what we ordered and was met with hostility. The lady said it's not my problem and put the phone down. We rang back and asked to speak to the manager and the phone hot put down again. On the third attempt the lady said they would ring back once they were not busy.... still waiting for a resolution

Had a really enjoyable take away, the food was lovelly and there was pleanty of it. If I was in the area again I wouldn't hesitate to return for another meal. They don't take card transactions, however there is a cashpoint at the Coop opposite.

My favourite foods always lovely and staff are always friendly.

Multiple attempts to contact this place to order a takeaway for a birthday resulted in the phone being slammed down and not answered 5 times so far. Very poor service

This is the best Chinese I’ve had ever! My boyfriend brought it for me and nothing was too greasy and the flavours worked perfectly together. Would highly recommend

I love this Chinese, never a had a bad meal, I ordered the house special rice, thinking it was the non spicy Singapore fried rice but it was like a vegetable curry and when I rang back to say that I thought that they given me the wrong order, the chef exchanged it for me at no charge and explained what I should order next time ..... Delivery also fast & friendly service .......

Had food from here a few times, not always great but never been bad or cold, can wait a while if very busy though, one issue we have had is similar looking foods not labeled so when ordering as a group its a bit of a guessing game with some things

First time I've used this Chinese, but I wouldn't use it again as food tastes washed out.

Delicious food! In my opinion they should have the machine to pay with card and not only cash, and I would like them to have some sushi as well

lived a lot of places and have ALWAYS stated ving jun top town was the best chinese around. Esp 2 certain dishes. I returned home and ordered these dishes last week. OMG. what happened. whole lot was awful. Would never use again.

Been a few times and the food is consistently good , prices are fine ( the same as / maybe slightly cheaper than other places) and they still give free prawn crackers when you order around £10 last time I went, something I have found to be a vanishing trend in a lot of places over the past few years.

I tried this takeaway on recommendation from a friend and I regret nothing! I've used it many times and I've never been disappointed. The portion size is perfect, it's always been piping hot and there's a good array of dishes to choose from.

Ordered food , half the order was missing . Phoned to ask about it , didn't even enquirie about details of our order before rudely deniying us and then hanging up the phone.

Very friendly staff, food cooked to perfection, nicest Chinese that we've had in a very long time! Chef knows how to cook! Great portions, plenty of meat and colour looked as good as it tasted! Quick delivery and the delivery driver was very friendly and polite! Will recommend to locals! Keep up the good service!

Just thought I drop a line to say the standard of our takeaway in Barwell is excellent with an option of collection or delivery at no extra cost. The ribs were succulent followed by chow mien and sweet and sour - well worth a phone call

Fantastic food at a reasonable price! Chow mien just how we like it - no too wet. We will get take away from here again, definitely!
