Great China Takeaway in Hinckley and Bosworth

Absolutely by far the best Chinese I’ve ever come across and I have ate from many this one is outstanding and my favourite ❤️

Happy Family dish exquisite! Yeung chow mein excellent! Ordered w x pancake rolls only 1 available. 2 = 4.50 n she tried to charge me 2.50 x 1! I protested quite legally and charged 2.25 for 1 pancake roll. These are delicious but do your sums prior to paying by card...

Absolutely superb in every way Just the best not only in the area but best in Leicestershire. The shrimp curry and rice is fantastic. If you want the best forget the rest.

Delivery 26/3/23. This place used to be EXCELLENT...I contacted the Takeaway because Duck in black bean sauce/peppers/garlic USED to be a rich, enveloping sauce with the duck..I received a watery sauce, duck on top, just not appetising, vegetables were fresh, Duck...looked 'ill', grey, unappetising/unappealing. No ' Glow' of meat in past years...Although I appreciate portions have been reduced, no price increases, Great China has sadly reduced its quality along with these factors..😪😪😠 ....Sorry..our friendship may cease due to lots of better quality places our there...

Food was lovely , the amount of time we spent waiting was terrible must of been a good 40 minutes , phone orders seemed to take priority

Chicken balls were dry and tough. Batter was soggy.

When previously collecting a takeaway meal I inquired about delivery charge, ( stating location) in case at sometime we required it. I was informed by the proprietor that it would be £1.50. Today we phoned through an order and was calmly told that it would be £3.00 . Certainly a difference, that I was informed because of where it was and not of distance???

Never have i been unable to cut lemon chicken before. I don't know how or what they have done but the chicken is un-cuttable never mind inedible. On phoning to complain, was offered 50% off next time......!!! I get its a cold quiet Wednesday but come on. Disgusting. Disgusted and definitely not returning. There is no " great" at this Chinese

2 hours for a small order is a joke. No matter how busy you are. Rang up to check how long it would be after an hour and a half offering to pick ul if quicker and its still not prepared. Would cancel if I hadn't already paid. The food better be good or ill be taking it back

The place to go for some delicious authentic Chinese food. We love all their dishes but chilli beef and chilli chips are my favourites! Good food and great service! Highly recommended!

A very good takeaway. We ate it yesterday and it was amazing, the timeing was pretty good and lovely customer service. My favourite was Beef black bean sauce dish😋

We had a Chinese last night from Great China in Ratby following it reopening at the weekends and it was quite honestly the nicest Chinese we’ve ever had ever! The beef chow mein was incredible, the chilli and salt chips we’re crispy and delicious. The chicken satay on skewers we’re amazing and the bbq ribs were fantastic. Not one bad word to say about it and we ate the entire lot, every single bit! 👌👌👌👌👌

Me and my partner visited earlier for takeaway, order was completely wrong then when asked to have our correct order we were met with nasty replies and shouting from the kitchen. Not a nice atmosphere. Wouldn’t recommend

This place has terrible service. Delivery boy was very polite but the woman on the phone took half hour to actually take my order and was then rude.

Some like it some don’t, but this Chinese “takeaway” really is grim mate.

Always freshly cooked, great varied menu and definitely the best in our area. This is about the only Chinese takeaway that uses FRESH chicken breast as opposed to the rubbery,slimy,water added chemically reformed 'chicken' that most other establishments in the area use,and consequently dupe their customers if they are easily pleased. For me it is quality and freshness everytime! I am a regular customer and cannot recommend highly enough!

I have had regular meals and have really enjoyed them . I must say that some times they haven’t got the order right but have always corrected this. Will be going back .

Worst food I’ve had in years. I believe that the chow mein was reheated as it tasted disgusting was was mushy. Won’t be using them again!

Local decent chinese food. The taste is great and the prices are standard but good value. Anyone living near or far should order from here.

Had several curries from Great China and they are the spicy and thick which you don't normally get from a Chinese as they use Indian spices also to give it a kick.

Really fast service great food great staff will definitely buy again very happy thankyou recommend the Foo young dishes here absolutely amazing

Amazing food, that tastes divine, slowly working my way through the menu .. staff are lovely and friendly nothing is too much trouble. I 💯 recommend. Food delivery was fast and served with a smile.

Ordered a few times and the food was delicious! Delivery could be a little slow but the food was hot and tasty. Best curry sauce ever!

We ordered food the first time and it was cold when it arrived and the second time it took over an hour and when we called to find out where it was it the delivery driver wasn't even back to pick up the order, so we cancelled the order. Will not be giving them a third chance. With a name like that we really expected better

I go there regularly and the food is amazing, the staff are very friendly and the food doesn't take long at all. Five Stars
