We had a take away from Peking Wok last night 17/5/24. I can honestly say it was the best food we have had in a long time from a take away. It was so fresh tasty .We has the chicken in batter Hong Kong style and the king prawn in batter Hong Kong style and the mother in law had a chicken curry and fried rice and there were no complaints. We did order at 6 pm and the food was with us in no time. So a big thank you to team Peking Wok from our household 10/10.

We have used Peking Wok for coming on 15 at a guess. We have never had a bad meal, food delivery always fast with hot food at our door step. Staff always polite and professional. Highly recommended!!

Just Bought our evening meal from here. It's the first Chinese takeaway we've used since moving to Hinckley. Lovely food, great value for money. Tasty Chow mein, Beautiful chicken balls, rice delicious. All ready when I arrived to collect it. The staff were cheerful and pleasant. Can't fault it.

Sorry Peking Wok - Hinckley but tonight you were a total let down. I ordered one dish gluten free and said everything else was fine as normal. Delivery will be in 45 to 60 minutes. Well, delivery took 1 hour and 40 minutes and the Curry Sauce was missing. Call back and first tried to blame it on the GF dish, but then changed to "sorry, really busy, my fault" We can bring the sauce in 25 minutes or give you a credit off next order. Sorry, there will be no next order. Your food was always outstanding, everything tonight was bad. Soggy and luke warm prawn toast. Soggy and luke warm chips. Singapore chow mein only hot in spice but only lightly warm in temperature, same for the rice. Sorry, really busy and you can have the sauce credited doesn't cut the mustard. Thanks for a few years of very nice food, but it is time to move on. Keep the money for the missing sauce. Really bad tonight It felt like it was sitting in the bag for quite some time waiting for the driver

Wow, it’s like being in china all over again! So tasty, so friendly and d such an amazing place. You have to try this the food is amazing and by far the best value in the area, great portions and lovely flavours.

This is perhaps the best Chinese takeaway by far, in many miles around! The food looks and tastes well; it's never soggy, oily, or sugary. The ingredients don't feel extra cheap, either.

Very bad food sirloin steak a joke not sure it was sirloin could not cut it with a steak knife and nothing but fat house special undercooked containers not closed properly so it all in the bag

The best Chinese in Leicestershire! Our family love Chinese food and this is hands down delicious. Recommend to all hungry people. Great service too

Rubbish! No record of our order. Two hours later no delivery. Not impressed.

Has the chef had a replacement? We normally have a lovely meal from here, but the last couple of times it has tasted really bland and not really very nice at all. Very disappointed- puts you off using this place

Excellent service and great quality food

First visit to this place. Very polite & friendly welcome. I ordered a set meal that was freshly cooked & it was still piping hot by the time I got it home. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal although the special fried rice could have been better but overall very nice. I would visit this place again when I next fancy a Chinese treat.

The food here has been in decline for some time. Tonight we had a chicken chowmein, minus the chicken & just about every other ingredient that shoud have been in it! The Mongolian lamb was an overcooked, rock hard mess. What on earth is going on in this kitchen. MInimal content for maximum profit. It took 1 hour & forty minutes to arrive & we had to reheat most of it. I phoned them back & spoke to the manager. I quote..."Sorry the weather is not very good, (raining), we are very busy tonight" I asked what was the excuse for cooking such poor standards of food in the kitchen......no reply. The manager asked what they could do for me,as we were not happy...no refund, but we could have a £10 discount on the next order. I advised that there would not be a next time! The manager said she would send someone out tomorrow to our home with a £10 refund, but in future, we would have to wait 2 hours for a delivery to Sapcote. I agreed to this, but insisted there would not be a next time. We may have both had Covid-19 last year, but it certainly didn't adle the brain....we still know the difference between poor quality food which has been thrown together under the guise of chinese food. We wait to see if our £10 refund arrives tomorrow. We will take our custom elsewhere in future.

Best chinese fast service and great food!

Very disappointing. Over a hour to deliver. Pancake roll cold. Chips almost cold and main needing warming up. Only thing that was right was the two cans of coke. :(

Didn't arrive on time phoned and said order was still in kitchen and manager would phone after 2 hrs no contact no meal what a joke!!!!

Twice now (thought we’d give benefit of doubt after first time!) we have ordered a takeout and after a 2 hour wait was told our order had been forgotten, eventually got our food without any apology or anything offered for poor service, will never use peeking wok again!

I've been using pe King wok now for many years and although their food is amazing I can't agree in the prices! Tonight I have ordered what I normally would and it has cost me nearly £10 more!!! £2.80 for prawn crackers and only free when spending over £28 i think is ridiculous. If ordering for 2 people you don't necessarily want to order £28 worth of food then paying £2.80 for prawn crackers is madness when you used to get them free spending over £20. Just makes no sense to me. I love the pe king wok food but just can't justify paying that much for a Chinese takeaway!

Was disappointed tonight, with the takeaway. Requested starter for 3. Not enough. Was only enough just, for 2. Pork Char Sui,was on a bed of sour veg rather than BBQ. Don't think I'll bother, again. Sad, because I've always rated Peking Wok

Peking Wok! Always amazing! Always on time! The best in Hinckley! Love it!! All kinds of different cuisines! Thai, Malaysian, Chinese, all brilliant! Never fails to amaze!!

Been using this place for years now and the food is ALWAYS perfect, literally perfect. Working my way across the menu and there's nothing I haven't liked, it's all flavourful, packed with meat/nuts/whatever the star of the dish should be, it's heaped on. Staff are the friendliest people and whoevers on the phones right now is an absolute treasure, made my night just now. Can't recommend enough :3

Had a fab takeaway delivered from here as we were staying in a nearby Hotel. They delivered to us on time and even gave us a call when they had arrived. The food was piping hot and tasted delicious, and was great value. Will use again when we are next at the hotel and would highly recommend.

To be honest, only went here because it was a Tuesday night and our usual was closed. Having just got back from holiday, Chinese food was calling. We weren’t disappointed. Friendly staff, social distancing sorted, ready in 20 mins. Gorgeous, tasty food, a hit with all the family- defo be using them again. Recommended.

Can not fault this Chinese takeaway at all! Foods always absolutely stunning, fresh and hot when it arrives. Always delivered on the estimated times given. All the staff are very well mannered and professional. Never had any issues whatsoever. Would highly recommend!!

Food poisoning after an order of prawns in batter and rice. We will have to think twice before going back now.

Mainly all good although sometimes not so good

We have used the Skyway House a couple of times and found their food very bland. We tried the PW last night and were very pleased with a) the speed of delivery, b) how tasty the food was, and c) what good value for money it was.We would happily recommend the Peking Wok based upon our first experience.

Greasy food, so unlike the real thing, orders very late a lot of the time, when you ring up, they say, be with you in 15 minutes, very often 30 minutes. Mongolian lamb nice, but apart from that awful. Chow mein consisted of tiny bits of chicken, oily noodles & precious little else. I remember the days when it had, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts , been sprouts. lots of white onion & green spring onions in it. No more thanks.

We’ve been using Peking Wok for years. The food is excellent, not at all greasy like so many Chinese’s can be at times. The food is always piping hot when it’s delivered and the delivery people are always very polite.

Can't fault this take away at all! Food always arrives really quickly, it's always hot and tastes amazing. The price is a little higher than some other takeaways but we've never once had a problem with anything. We always order from here :)

Iv ordered from most if not all of the chinese take aways in the le9/le10 area.This is by far the best Chinese take away you will get in these postcodes. On occasions there timing can be a little off, which I dont mind because the food is always worth the wait. Food is always hot and to a high standard full of flavour.

Waited over a hour&1/2 I then called them told me it's going to leave in15mins so basically I waited 2 hours ridiculous

Read on Spotted that this was the best Chinese in Hinckley. Had some doubts as after living here over a year I'd still not found "the one" but this was certainly it. Portions were huge, food was stunning, very hot and very fresh. We did collection which is unfortunately cash only but it not gonna stop me being a new regular here.

First time having food from here the chips was re heated the curry was lumpy and cold the chicken fried rice was lovely but dont think I'd recommend or have one again

Absolutely terrible...sweet n sour batter was dense and soggy...couldn't eat it...my husbands dish was tasteless with no flavour...chips dry and overcooked...awful...never use again....

This was our first time visit, and have to say wont be our last. The service was excellent, the food was brilliant. Full of authentic chinese tasting food, even a big hit with the kids. Recommend this to anyone.

Absolutely dreadful takeaway worst one in Hinckley by far! Phoned for a delivery to be told they would call me back with a price of the order 15 minutes later no phonecall so phoned them back to be told they hadn’t written my phone number down!! Order finally turned up and half of it wasn’t what I ordered and had to wait another half an hour for the right stuff to be sent out!! To then find my main wasn’t nothing like it was described on the menu.. was supposed to be smoked shredded chicken caramelized with spring onion what turned up I can only describe as basically little bits of battered chicken absolutely caked in granulated sugar!!! Chicken donut basically HORRIBLE!! Also the attitude from the staff when phoning to complain for the THIRD time was horrendous spoke to me in an arsey manner! Will not be using them ever again!

We really enjoy the food from peking wok and recently changed to this from our previous usual Chinese. Some examples, the Crispy duck is clearly a complete duck breast diced off the bone. The food is less greasy than other places. And compared to the middle of the night unquenchable thirst I used to experience with Chinese food, this takeaway must be much lower in salt and msg. And of course everything I've had from here tastes fantastic and is ready in good time. I particularly recommend their take on Black Bean with Green Ginger, which has a real fresh chilli kick to it. Lovely.
