Food is discussing I will not be ordering from there again the only reason I came here is because dragon wonder is closed

Never had a problem till tonight 8/03/24 Ordered my food chicken curry no veg ( alligie to veg ) king prawn curry chips and rice!! Order came king prawn chips and rice arrived no chicken curry just chicken strips rang to let them know the order was wrong was told to give the chicken strips back tothe driver who replaced it WITH CHICKEN CURRY AND VEG(ALLIGIE !!!!!!!!! AND WAS COLD WHAT CAN I SAY !!!!!!!! NG15 6SA NOT HAPPY A BUNNY

Been eating from here for past 20 years. Never had a bad meal and always hot and on-time. And a really nice family run it

Was our favourite Chinese for 10 years but since they reopened its not the same. we have had food a few times and it has gone from the local best to below a standard Chinese takeaway. Such a shame.

My local Chinese. Hard to find a good one and I'm always pleased when I order. Tasty food and fine prices for the portions you get. Minimum card payment of £10 at time of review in case you were ordering something small.

This is a very nice Chinese restaurant I recommend it's the best one in hotnor I always go there and the food is very hot when it comes so if you want a nice Chinese go to this place and it does not take long to get delivered

I don’t even want to type in what I had been given. Even just writing about it makes me feel sick.

We have been loyal customers and go here atleast once a month, we have supported hong chow for 4 years now and have had outstanding experience within the shop. though we ordered the chicken chow mein and found a few black hairs in it. was so disappointed. though this has only happened once and still go to his restaurant. no bad experiences since, I do recommend.

We ordered from Hong chow for 2 years and lived it but the last 5 times we got terrible service and everything apart from what we actually ordered. When we tried to complain about the wrong order again tonight they hung up on me 4 times so rang from a different number, finally they answered an hour later and asked me to retthe food to them so they could send it out again!! With covid and even in normal times this is absolutely disgusting. Please do not go here you may get more than you bargained for and end up ill. Such a shame as we have been loyal for over 2 years!!

After being loyal customers of Hongchow for the last 15 Years we are disgusted with the way we were treated after 2 cock ups in 2 weeks with our orders.last week they forgot our chips which fair enough was a simple mistake,but this week we ordered,and got totally the wrong meal.when we rung to tell them the guy said they will resend it but we would have to pay again!and didn't even apologise.i let him know it was there fault but to no avail so we was stuck with the wrong meal which was horrible. Its a shame but we will never use them again after this treatment.

Open on a Tuesday when all the other local Chinese takeaways are shut. Decent food on a par with what you would expect from a good Chinese, will return. Way too many flashing neon lights on the pizza place a couple of doors down though, nearly blinded me looking for Hong chow

I cant understand why so many poor reviews i have tried all the other Chinese Takeaways in Hucknall and this one is by far the best Chicken Chop suey is fantastic i am addicted with the cheapest takeaway in the area too go to the others and i end up with the runs no thanks i will keep using Hong Chow

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CHINESE WE HAVE EVER HAD FROM HONG CHOW, BURNT RICE, BURNT CHIPS, ONLY 1 THING EDIBLE. WILL NOT BE RETURNING.

Good food, good prices but the customer service is disgusting... it took forever to get through then when they did answer they didn’t say anything and left us on the line for 5 minutes.. leaving us thinking they were just taking an order and then would get to us!.. nope slammed the phone down on us so we rang prego because they have excellent everything 🤗

Rude, rude, rude ! 3rd time ordering and each time the young man on the phone has been very rude. Food always lovely so it's a shame the customer service is so bad !

Customer service is disgraceful. The man on the phone was very rude. Some of oyr foid didnt arrive they said it would come in 10 mins. Nearly half an hour later still waiting. They hung up.on us 3 times then eventually told us we were rude. Would never ever use them again. Advise everyone to stay away!

Kids are always excited to have food from here and eat it all. Food is non-greasy and the delivery is always really, really fast.

Ordered here a couple of weekends ago whilst visiting family. They said they usually order from another Chinese takeaway but were open to trying somewhere new. The food was brill, not greasy and was well-priced. Will order from here again.

Great food always delivered promptly, always very fresh and very friendly staff. In my opinion it's the best in Hucknall.

Excellent speedy service (whether delivered or collected and they remember your name and address details from your phone number) and consistent quality. Would recommend the mixed meat with cashew nuts in yellow bean sauce.
