Delivery was great & our chow mein was lovely. Unfortunately we couldn’t eat the munch box as it had sugar on it, rather than salt.

Tried pretty much every Chinese in the area before finding New Lee's. This place always delivers warm tasty food! My wife can be a bit funny with takeaway but we never have a drama here! Order every few weeks. Highly recommend the smoked chicken! It's unreal. We order through big foodie for 15% off!

I have been ordering from here for around 15 years. It is absolutely the best Chinese food in Sutton-in-Ashfield. I have never once been let down. Food is always hot, fresh and cooked to perfection. Staff have always been friendly. Thank you New Lees Garden!

unusual to say that two of the sweet and sour king prawn were inedible, they were hard as nails.

Best Chinese by miles food top notch cooked by Rae and delivered by Sang .always prompt and always hot .have had food cooked and delivered by these two for around 4 /5 Years always faultless. Antony

Won’t be ordering again , very disappointed, £27 down the drain , chips were hard, rice was like a packet rice fried, no sign of any egg. Just overall disappointing .

Didn’t tell me the driver was on their way so I was getting ready and there was a knock. Lucky I have a family member who came back early to open the door. By the time I got to it, it wasn’t as warm. Didn’t taste good either. Would’ve tipped the driver £10 for the job as it’s a late Sunday but I wasn’t available as I wasn’t notified they were on their way. they didn’t mark their job as done for ages too so it was stuck on “delivering your order”. Idk why but the vegetarian food is bland.

loved it, will definitely order from them again. my old Chinese takeaway was closed who I always use. But now I will be using this one. Highly recommended 👌

Always use this takeaway because the food is always excellent but this time it was not as good as in the past, the chicken was abit chewy and the chips over cooked. Come on guys go back as you used to cook.

New Lee’s Garden is undoubtedly the best take-away of this sort in Sutton. I’ve tried most of them over the years and NLG is consistently good. Won’t go anywhere else now.

The crispy duck wasn't, there was gristle in the pork fried rice, there were only 4 items on the order and one was missing. I spent £30 and ended up having a pot noodle for dinner

What gravy is that ruined the whole meal dog even turnt his nose up that was bot gravy in the roast chicken absolutely vile

Food was lovely but if you are hungry it’s expensive for what you get. Also no free gift arrived even though they ask you to choose which one you want. For the price and what you get - £35 in total for two starters, one main course and one rice it’s very expensive.

Was delivered quite early, the sweet and sour sauce kind of spelt like paint, and there was nothing inside the wontons. Everything else was fine.

Not happy with delivery.. Rang take away said it was on its way. 20 after it should of been here... Then they sent message to say it would be another 15mins... Family members had to leave early without food.My father is elderly and could wait any longer. So he didn't end up having food for father's day . Very disappointed with service tonight.

We’ve had a lovely meal from New Lee’s garden tonight. Order was estimated to be delivered in an hour but came in only half an hour! Delivered nicely and in a big box so nothing had spilled. Food was still super hot and tasted amazing! We are a large family with lots of different dishes and everyone was very happy. Even my small children who are very fussy said it was the best rice and chow mien! Thank you!

My family made a large order last night on the website to arrive at a scheduled time. Delivery was exactly when we wanted it, food was delicious and made our 1920s Mystery Evening go brilliantly. Extras were super generous and much appreciated. We order from here whenever we fancy a Chinese and have yet to be disappointed.

Where it’s fantastic that the food was early, the sweet & sour chicken balls were very pink, the sesame chicken toast was pretty much cremated! The chips were hard, chicken chow mein was salty, the only thing that was actually ok this time was boiled rice and that’s the easiest thing to cook that we ordered! I will seriously think twice before ordering from here again!

Thai green curry contained not a single green item. Vegetable Red curry was delivered as a vegetable green curry. Won’t be using again

Ok, now have to re-evaluate what I consider to be Sutton’s best Chinese takeaway since we’ve been to New Lee’s Garden. They also get bonus points for being open on Tuesday!

Pre ordered as didn’t finish work until 6 o’clock asked for delivery at 17:55 and arrived 30 minutes early so I had a freezing cold tea

Normally food from here is OK. However this order was terrible, the amount of oil and salt used in this food was shocking, everything was sloppy and unacceptable

Food was very bland. Prices are not on the cheap side but food tastes like it should be. Not for me.
