Just had Roast Pork & House Special chow meins, best chinese meal we've had for a long time, delivery was prompt, food was piping hot & very tasty also made with good fresh ingredients, definitely will use this place again & so happy with my meal i felt i needed to leave a positive review, keep up the great work Bamboo Shoot 👍

Had a take away delivered from here and I have to say it’s got to be the best Chinese we have ever had food was nice and hot the chicken balls were in freshly cooked batter not hard, curry spot on , just perfect in every way

I do not know where the last person has been .we have used bamboo shoots for around 18 months the food is without doubt fabulous.we only live a mile away it always turns up with in 30 mins my wife always sticks with the same veggie chow mean ,I’m a little more adventurous I’ve had 20 or 25 different dishes they have always been the same .we are on the very vulnerable clinically .so we had these dishes delivered.the service is without doubt fabulous they will do there utmost to help you out try this place you will not be disappointed. I have been all over the world eaten in 5 star hotels restaurants with Michelin stars and this place is just as good.

The food did not taste fresh! Flavourless and dry. Small portions for the money. Not had a chinese that poor for a long time.

We have lived in Sutton 19 years. We have tried most of the Chinese around here. But without doubt this place is fantastic. We have it delivered always on time and piping hot. What a find. We had 40 dishes all superb cooked to perfection.

The worst Chinese we have had in a long time. It had no flavour to it at all. The quick delivery clearly said it. Whether this is due to the coronavirus and just trying to stay open regardless of what ingredients they have I do not know but we will not be going there again.

Always pleasant when you ring. Delivery brilliant. Food superb. Never had a bad meal.

Had a meal from here last night. It was terrible. The sweet and sour sauce was like pure vinigar. The meat was dried out and chewy. The peas in the rice were shriveled and hard. It was inedible tbh. Won't bother again. Very disappointed.

We normally go to top chef but it's closed on Tuesday so had the misfortune of going here. Beef tough as old boots was a disgusting meal. Will never use again. If you want good food drive a little further for quality.

Absolutely shocking, took nearly 2 hours for it to arrive for it to be only freezing cold and rock hard. Wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t try again.

The food quality here (Chinese & Thai) is excellent and freshly cooked in an open kitchen with the prices very reasonable. The bonus is the friendly delivery man has a card reader so you don't have to worry about having cash in you wallet - I wish other similar establishments had card readers too.

Ordered for the 1st time tonight and glad we did. Had a mix of different dishes, all was tasty. Will be ordering from Bamboo shoots again.

Sang and Lucy run Bamboo Shoots almost by themselves. I have tried EVERY Chinese takeaway in Sutton and this is the best. It is very clean - you can see the food being cooked. It is competitive price-wise; it has to be. Nothing is too much trouble for them and the service is very quick. I have NEVER had a bad meal from here. The Chinese people are very polite and honourable. I am embarrassed to say that some of my own race aren't. If there should be a problem with your food, for heaven's sake, take it back immediately so they can see and have a chance to put it right if indeed there is a genuine complaint. *This is a takeaway only - not a restaurant. This is as good as Chungs, Mapperley Plains, Nottingham.

When this first opened I thought I would give it a try, was not and have never been disappointed with the quality of the food and at a price that is same as others in the area. In fact, Carlsberg don't do chinese meals, but if they did, then they probably still wouldn't be as good as Bamboo Shoots.

I ordered a takeaway from Bamboo Shoots for the first time last week and was extremely impressed with both the excellent quality of the food and the friendly courteous service that I received. I would highly recommend this takeaway to anyone looking for great food at a reasonable price!

Second visit tonight after trying for the first time two weeks ago, nice to see our food being cooked whilst waiting . Very tasty food & friendly helpful staff, we will be back for more,thank you.

We order regularly and tonight we have had a bad meal, dry food and not up to usual standard. Called takeaway to tell them to be told "how do I know you're not making it up to get free meal?" Phone put down.......disgusted and disappointed

We really like bamboo shoots, it's the best Chinese meal we've had for a long time and we keep going back for more!! There are a lot of Chinese take aways in Sutton but we just haven't got bored of this one yet - huge menu and will always be willing to cook something special off the menu too!!

Can see the food being cooked, it tastes incredible and all round good value, the prawn toast is thick and juicy, the meats are good and the rice dishes excellent, one trip and it became my new chinese takeaway, I now do not bother with any of the others.
