The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

The food tastes okay, but the price is very expensive. The portions of barbecued pork, duck, rice and roasted duck are pitifully small. I won’t try it next time.

I discovered Sichuan popo restaurant a year ago, it was Love at first sight. Aside the great atmosphere and fantastic tasty food, I felt valued customer, and have been back there ever since . In the heart of Kensington and Chelsea not far from Holland Park.

I had a fantastic experience at Forum House Chinese Restaurant! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming, not only to us but also to our puppy. They immediately brought over a doggy water bowl, which was such a thoughtful touch, especially as he was quite thirsty after our walk. The service throughout our meal was outstanding, attentive, friendly, and genuine. The food was absolutely delicious, authentic, and full of flavor. Every dish we tried was delicious and beautifully balanced. The ambience was also wonderful, warm, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxed meal. It’s not always easy to find a dog-friendly restaurant with such high-quality food and service, and I will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend!

Upon our arrival we got served quick and the girl on shift was drunk. They said 20/30 minute wait, we left and arrived back roughly 15 minutes later. Whilst I arrive back they took my payment which they should’ve done the first time round. This is when a gentleman comes in and orders, they say wait time of 40 minutes. Bare in mind I’m still waiting, 10 minutes later the gentleman gets his food and I’m still waiting, so I ask the manager what is going on, he shuts me down and says “few more minutes” no apology or what not” I wait another 10 minutes before asking the server who was drunk and she said another 5 minutes, this is where I cancelled my order and no apologies from the manager or server, or no empathy. They are rude and non empathetic which is ridiculous in an environment. If I could give a zero rating I would.

Took my partner as a birthday gift as he hadn't been there in years. The food was excellent as always and had to ask for doggie bag to take home as couldn't eat it all we opted for the Classic Menu for 2 well worth the money.

I've passed this restaurant many times and I've always wanted to eat here: I got the chance due to a family birthday meal. The meal was delicious from start to finish, beautifully presented, with great customer service. Definitely recommended!

Really disappointed with something we were really looking forward to. Wanted fresh and flavoursome but food was bland and tasteless. For the price really poor. Will stick to Chinese from now on.

Since getting a Chinese takeaway delivered from here we have not gone anywhere else! Completely blows all other Chinese takeaways away. The service when you phone them is excellent and the food is perfect. So many vegetarian options, everything is light and not greasy. We are pescatarian and they completely understood and advised the food would be cooked appropriately. I tell everyone about this place as I’m not sure it’s common knowledge that they deliver. I recommend- Fried vermicelli Singapore style King prawn sweet and sour takeaway style Szechuan bean curd

My boyfriend took me here for dinner on Thursday and it was exceptional - starters and mains. Beautiful food, atmosphere, service and at a great price! Highly recommend!
