The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

We ate in at Wamamichi this evening. Very quick, friendly service. The owner was very welcoming. I had the Laksa vegetable and tofu noodle soup, lovely fresh vegetables, and warming spice flavour, perfect for a winter's evening. My partner had the kungpo chicken and rice, which he enjoyed. It was a very generous portion, so we took half home. Also, delicious prawn toast as a side dish. They have recently done up the decor inside, so it looks smart. We will certainly go back or order a takeaway again.

Ho pernottato una settimana in questo hotel e devo dire di essermi trovato piuttosto male. Personale sempre (SEMPRE) scontroso, cibo di qualità quasi scadente (eccezion fatta per la colazione) e last but not least il puzzo di fumo che sentivo ogni volta nella camera dove stavo (io non fumo..).

Absolutely disgusting, I ordered salt n Peper chicken,bit into a piece and it was stretchy and stringy (like a kid stretching chewing gum) I thought maybe a bit a fat so tried another it was the same,tried every piece all the same,the curry sauce was far too thick that u could probably stand a spoon straight up in the pot,egg freid rice contained no egg and the rice hard,fried noodles were sticky and the crispy veg rolls were floppy never even seen crispy.will never order from here ever again and word of mouth is the best advertisement ! UTTERLY VILE !

Dropped two stars because, staff ask whether you are drinking in or takeaway. Me being honest, I said drinking in and pay for the privilege, but there were a lot of people who clearly paid for a takeaway drink (who have takeaway cups) which is cheaper and sit in to have it. The staff should enforce this, or don't charge different prices to drink in and takeaway!! And FAR too many dogs inside !!

Special curry with rice and spring rolls . Spring rolls crispy and no grease the bite was clean and soooo tasty. Curry was tasty not too hot but a kick the meat was tender not loads of onion like other places. The rice was spot on Delivery guy was friendly and on time very good service all round.

We come to Chessington a couple of times a year and always visit Lucky 5 for a takeaway. The chicken satays are the best we have tasted since visiting Singapore. The flavours of the food are truly delicious. We will always come back.

Been a customer for 2 years food always good until today called up to complain about duck full of fat and bones Compo chicken was so spicy couldn’t eat Special fried rice no taste and tasted of flour Owner just kept saying what you want me to do said he didn’t care that we didn’t like it or that we been customers for 2 years I will never order again I hope I don’t get sick

Food was simply delicious. We tried the Kung Po Special, Mapo Tofu and spicy peppery chicken wings. Mapo Tofu was silky smooth and full of flavor! Service was excellent and the stafff were polite, attentive and made some recommendations. I would highly recommend Lee Gardens which offered a high quality cuisine and impeccable service!

Me and my mom went to Cook&Fry (Fu Lin) in Buckfastleigh for mom birthday meal, a day before because of work unfortunately. We have come here many time before, to try out the different dishes they have to offered. Served by a male staff member who knows what he was doing as he listened carefully to what we ordered, making sure he got it right. It is mom treat so she gets to pick what we are going to have, and decided to ordered BBQ ribs and some chips (1/2). We took it home to eat it and happy to report that the both of us enjoyed the food. Delicious and yummy to eat, nice side portion of both ribs and chips It was perfectly cooked, definitely cook to the correct temperature. Even though you could only played for your order by cash, I don't even mind. The only bad thing on the evening is that the sign says it opened, even though it wasn't 5pm yet and door opened with no one there till the time. Noneless, we happily enjoyed going here and both of us would recommend anyone even living in the area or staying on holiday nearby to try it. Thank you Cook&Fry for our wonderful experience.

Ordered and was told 1 hour wait , we were happy to accept this order. Food arrived and when my son poured some on his plate the oil swam out of the container before any sauce, the chicken balls were swimming in oil in the bag and the satay sauce was also topped with oil, when I called to let them know I was told ok will do better next time! I explained it was not edible and they could collect it or I would return it, I was told no refund as it’s a £60 order and we can have 10% off next time, I tried to explain what customer service was and having ordered here for over 20 years( aware it has changed hand and telephone staff) I’ve never had to complain. I also stated £6 off when £60 of food was not edible was an insult, and quite frankly do not wish to order from them again, I was told ok sorry to lose you as a customer and hung up on me. I will be returning this food on my way to my night shift and never returning, I accept busy nights things get complacent but rudeness and manners cost nothing

Great food, I always come here when I'm in Darley Dale and it never disappoints ! The lady at the front is always the friendliest and serves with a smile every time.

We were on holiday and decided to try this after seeing the reviews online. Great food and prepared quickly, would definitely recommend and use again.

The worst takeaway EVER!! Please dont waste your money. I had Special fried rice. The beef was so tough and tasteless , not even my dogs would eat it. It was watery and full of chunks of onion with little chicken and nothing else. There was certainly nothing 'special ' about it .

Food was amazing!!a really nice surprise away from conventional Chinese food. Will definitely try it again!

Had a hotpot with my friend, perfect food, few drinks would highly recommend if you’re looking for an authentic Chinese meal.
