Lucky 5 in Epsom and Ewell

We come to Chessington a couple of times a year and always visit Lucky 5 for a takeaway. The chicken satays are the best we have tasted since visiting Singapore. The flavours of the food are truly delicious. We will always come back.

I’ve eaten here a few times and can recommend the house special fried rice - well it’s very nice. The prawn balls are some of the best I’ve tried (35 years experience in munching these tasty little dippers) Tonight I fancied a switch up so went for another favourite Szechwan Pork. This is hands down the best I’ve had. Thick chunky slices of pork perfectly seasoned. Nom nom. Anyway that’s my review. If it’s short it’s because I am stuffed and need a nap. Well done Lucky 5 you are a cut above the usual experience

Staff are friendly and food is always cooked well. It would be good to be able to order the food online as the phone line is always quite busy so takes a few calls to get through. I have noticed recently the dishes are filled with more veg than meat. Other than that it’s a great takeaway and food is always tasty.

We never use Lucky 5 a Chinese again food is cooked in about two minutes food is rotten got a beef thank you black bean sauce smell like wet dog very very greedy people wouldn’t even let me away with 10p £3 for Paul crackers know collate spend a certain amount of money you get pop crackers for free are used to use this place often very rude and greedy When I got beef in black bean sauce Alice smells like wet dog never use again

I absolutely love this Chinese take away. The food is really tasty and the staff are so friendly. This is definitely recommended!

This has been my "New" regular chinese after the one on my doorsteps food became so oily I could not eat it - now from the outside I have to be honest I would not look at this place and think ooh I have to try that but I took a gamble on this place - OMG am I glad I did the food is amazing, the staff are really friendly and the place is SPOTLESS. I have recommended this place to all of my friends in the area who all had the same sort of opinion on the o/s but they are so impressed too and are now regulars - with the best Salt & Pepper Prawns and Chicken, Shredded Beef and all Noodles/Rice dishes are delicious - give it a go you will NOT be disappointed. The food is piping hot and very quick service - Keep it up Lucky 5!

Thank you to Janet and team. Mike and I had a wonderful meal delivered in extra quick time. Portion sizes are generous, and there was plenty left over for lunch the following day. Dry honey ribs were delicious, and the Nasi Goreng was nicely chilified - I don't normally like chili - and was delicious. Never had a bad meal and always consistent. Lovely people and very efficient. Thank you.

Felt I had to post another review for this place after the last negative review, Been my local now for a year and still the best around, And believe me I’ve tried every Chinese takeaway in the Epsom ewell area. Arrived quick and food was bang on as usual, always a clean non greasy Chinese and great service as always. I’m sure all you regulars agree. 💪🏼

Had a delivery and the food was disgusting the duck was not crispy or cooked properly, the sweet and sour chicken balls were hard Inside but give them a squeeze and the amount of oil was ridiculous. Ribs were dry and the sauce had grease in it. Not impressed at all. When spoke to them they were not bothered one bit. Very rude and unhelpful. Will definitely not be ordering from there again

Great Chinese food at a good price, our new takeaway spot , as a fan of Chinese food have tried many diff ones in the surrounding area, This is by far the best even low it looks a little shabby on the outside the food is clean (non greasy) and very tasty, will be going here for years to come. Recommend the salt n pepper chicken wings!!! Banging!!!

Everything from this Chinese is perfect the food the staff and Janet who always goes the extra mile it arrives earlier than expected and greeted with a smile and compliment from the delivery staff highly recommend

Ordered our first take away from here on Friday and it was delicious!!!!! We ordered the set meals for one and they were fab- a little bit of everything in one tub! Fab price - just wish they had a couple more choices in them because it’s a fab idea! Will be ordering again for sure- it arrived quickly and was piping hot!

Never used before but ordered a take away the other night and have to say pleasantly surprised, portions quite small but so is the price per item. All very fresh and tasty will use again.

Always delicious and it has a fast and friendly service. Their Chinese chicken curry and Singapore noodles are always excellent.

Getting through on the phone was easy. I made my choices from their menu, the women on the other end of the phone, repeated my order back to me. She then told me how much my bill was, I asked to pay by card over the phone, doing so was easy. The woman then told me 40 minutes delivery. A knock on the door 25 minutes later and dinner was here. The food was hot and delicious. Will order from here again

It has very good and is very good value for money. I come quite a lot and would come back again as the staff/owners are very friendly.

We discovered Lucky 5 one Bank Holiday when all the others were closed. Bit reluctant to try a Chinese Takeaway that we hadn't tried before but always use them now.

Best chinese food in the area. Chessington is terrible for restaurants and this place is a little gem hidden away on a small parade of shops.

We had a weekend away this weekend and after an exhausting day decided to have a take away - risky when away from home!

Eaten here many times prior to this date and never had a problem but after yesterday i will never ever eat here again whole family being sick and attatched to a toilet 24/7 what the hell was in our food?!?!

Had a Chinese takeaway from lucky 5 last night. It was the nicest Chinese takeaway I have had in a long time. Will definitely use them again

Not a restaurant, just a take-away. And I will never be taking away from there again. Visited once, in search of a quick, convenient Chinese option that was still open quite late in the evening. The young man taking the order was rubbing his nose whilst handling the food containers. When I got it home the food was dreadful. Insipid, and watery. It went in the bin to be replaced by toast.

We treated ourselves to a Chinese takeaway. It had been a long time since we last had anything from the Lucky 5 and I am pleased to say, that their standard of meals have greatly improved. The meal was lovely and hot when it arrived at our door. The order was delivered 5 minutes earlier than we were told, when placing the order on the phone.

Lovely takeaway Chinese for a Saturday evening treat whilst parents were visiting. Delivery arrived very promptly after placing order. Thoroughly enjoyed food.

This is my local chinese & they deliver for free for orders over £15. Its nice although alot of the dishes are quite small portions.
