The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Chinese food

This is a carry out that we used for many years without issue. Food was always to a good standard but over the last few years, it has gradually declined to the point that we, like many, no longer use it. Last couple of chicken dishes were thrown in the bin as even bringing it to the attention of staff, there was no interest shown. Buyer beware!!

If you are around this area, avoid this Chinese at all costs. The food and hygiene is horrendous. Me and my boyfriend decided to come here for a nice takeaway. We ordered salt and pepper chicken. The chicken was severely undercooked. My boyfriend ended up with terrible food poisoning from this food. DEFINITELY avoid this Chinese. Not nice food!!!!

We spent nearly £100 after reading reviews from the centre parcs group. We had high hopes & expectations but sadly the food fell short, although the customer service was great & they told us when they were setting off & met us at the gate. We ordered online and was given sweet & sour prawns instead of chicken, the person who chose this dish is allergic to seafood so was unable to eat his dish of choice. We ordered 2 lots of the mixed starters and the whole lot was left as it tasted like eating pure oil especially the prawn toast, the ribs were delicious and devoured though! We also ordered chicken satay but believe we were also given the wrong dish for this as the website states peanuts and spicy and this dish was the complete opposite with no nuts or spice and not like any other satay we’ve had before. The salt and pepper prawns were soggy and had no flavour. Rice and noodles were delicious, it’s just a shame the main things weren’t. As we were only there for a few days and it is a long walk to the gates and back, we didn’t think it was worth calling back to see if we could have at least got a replacement for the incorrect dishes.

Amazing food and service!..yesterday i order some food from this restaurant chicken chow-min was lovely, chicken balls was amazing and tasty, special rice was amazing 5/5. I am sure i will gone a order tomorrow also thank you cheers 😃😃

Absolutely disgusting. Do not use this Chinese unless you want to be hungry and left with no money. Portion size was ridiculously small..food well... chips undercooked.. beef over cooked couldn't even chew it. Everything was salty and just not at all nice in any way shape or form. Definitely avoid!

Great food. Lots of choices. Perfect portions. Fast delivery. Always arrives hot. My 1st choice.

Chicken chow mein was way way sweet for some reason, just tasted really weird, not what Id expect from a chow mein Chicken fried rice had no flavour or chicken, just some boiled rice with a few peas thrown in Chicken balls were tragic, smallest ive ever seen Terrible compared to Alton Gourmet Oriental, you even get more at Gourmet for less money, wouldlve been £17 for the same dishes, it cost me £21 here. Overall, dont eat here, only ordered cos gourmet oriental was shut

I came here to travel and found this treasure shop. The dishes are rich and varied, very Chinese in style, and the taste is authentic. I strongly recommend this restaurant. It is definitely worth a try.

Hello I ordered from this chippy I ordered sausage and chips and curry sauce and a drink the sausages were vile the chips was really greasy and soggy absolutely disgusting went in the bin I should of made beans on toast

Haven’t been in store so can’t comment on the atmosphere but telephone manner etc was amazing But what can I say about the delivery service and the food? Pagoda was recommended to us from a friend and we had also received flyers through the door We live in rhydyfelin and there are roughly 6 Chinese takeaways around us but this is by far the best Chinese we have had in a long time The delivery was approximately 40 minutes from placing the order to delivery The food arrived hot where the delivery driver was friendly and polite which is how they should be The best tasting food in a long time curry with a lovely kick Will definitely be back Thank you 😊 😋 Pic was after we’d eaten not actual delivery 😂

Had table booked for friends birthday, Saturday night at 8.30. 9 of us turned up on time, only to be told table was not available and asked us to come back, We went a few doors away, into a lovely Micro pub. Someone popped back 15 mins later, only to be told the table was still not ready! When they complained, they told them, they could not ask the group to leave the table! Well sorry you should not of over booked!! It was far too late for us to find another restaurant for 9 that late on a Saturday! When we eventually got to our table it was gone 11am when we had finished our starter. Our lift was coming for us at 11.30, no chance for mains!! Went home hungry & angry! Would never go back or recommend this restaurant!! Toilets filthy, only one working & no toilet rolls! Only good thing, if we had not been asked to come back we would never have found an amazing little micro pub a few doors away!!

Used to always get my Indian from here. 1st time I've Used since the re-brand. And boy has it gone down hill. Everything tastes like it's come from a jar. The food even looks like it's come from a jar. The amount of meat in the curry was very small. Never used to be. Unfortunately it's now time to find a new curry house
