Regrettably the blandest Chinese food I have ever had .Ordered the Chicken and Mushroom stir-fry, could not recommend.

So so delicious!!!! Really well priced in my opinion for what you get and how good it tastes! Ordered here twice now, once on delivery and today on collection and both times have been fantastic. Really appreciate the team making our food right before closing too! Definitely our new go to chinese :)

Bridgford prices, those born here unfortunately know what I mean, however they never disappoint, spot on food, fluffy fresh looking egg fried rice and an amazing wandering dragon.

Bland food. Decided to order takeaway for new years celebrations. Ended up with lots of leftovers, as it simply didn’t taste nice. Won’t be returning.

Fantastic takeaway! Used to go to Tins in Silverdale before they retired. This is a good replacement for it. Very friendly staff and very quick service. Food is delicious!

2hrs from order placed to delivery with 2 calls chasing the delivery to be told 10 minutes on both occasions. On arrival food OK, with one main dish incorrect from order. Understandably a Saturday night is peak time however expect much better service and organisation for cost of takeaway.

First visit here & really impressed with the quality of food . Promptly prepared when ordered online & vastly superior to our usual local takeaway. Will definitely be back …

First time eating here, my partner and I ordered a combo for 2 takeaway. Wasn't impressed with the overall taste of the food. Beef in black bean garlic sauce tasted nothing like black bean and no garlic with a strange aftertaste. The ribs were meant to be in a BBQ sauce but had next to no flavour and the sauce was like jelly?? Egg fried rice was dry and bland. Chicken and mushroom was okay at best. The nicest things were the chicken balls and prawn crackers. Not much flavour or seasoning overall. Didn't feel too well after eating either. However our order arrived in good time and the online ordering process was easy. Unfortunately wouldn't eat here again due to the food rating and feeling unwell.

We ordered food in the morning to be delivered at 8.30pm to 9.00pm via Uber as they gave us a leaflet for Uber with a code. We have used this take away over 20 times and usually spend between £50 to £70. So we are awaiting our delivery and its now 9.15pm and its not here and we do understand its busy, so at about 9.20 we rang them and they said we have cancelled your order as we are too busy. In our reply WHAT you have our phone number so why did you not inform us? All we got was excuses that they are understaffed and it's too busy, so us ordering in the morning and being a regular customer had no influence. We now had to start cooking something for our guests at 10pm. WE WILL NEVER EVER USE THEM AGAIN. Would just like to say a big thank you for letting us down.

Love the food from here, surpasses anything we have available in Radcliffe on Trent. Always flavourful, cooked to perfection and quick to deliver.

2 of my items have been missed off leaving someone with no food

Food not very tasty... chicken was hard and very chewy on the satay skewers and a bit discoloured on one of them, plus only got 2 when it shouldnhave been 4... beef in blackbean and garlic had a bit of a tang to it and not that tasty. Chicken balls were ok and curry was ok ish... not a favourite and probably won't order again, sorry. Prawn toast was nice.

I love the fact that this takeaway has gluten free options. Really rare and tasty!

Chicken in black bean sauce, was not as we all know it to be. It was not full of black bean sauce, instead the chicken and vegetables was just moist, as if it was just dipped in sauce.The meal tasted nothing like chicken in black bean sauce, it was bland and mostly dry. The large crispy pancake was inedible, gross, super greasy. It was only filled with one single ingredient, beansprouts. which is a cheap and lazy excuse for a pancake.

Tried to obtain some sort of refund before leaving this review as the food was that bad. I’ll never go here again - the meat was inedible. Already contacted the restaurant and no customer service skills were shown so sadly, leaving a bad review is all I can do.

Food was completely different this time. Rubbery chicken and the Mongolian beef was fatty over cooked beef in an overly sweetened sauce and just onions. It used to come with cellophane noodles but not this time for some reason. They’re moving exclusively to Uber Eats. Good riddance.

Best Chinese delivery we've ever had. Everything arrived on time, warm and perfectly cooked.

Quick delivery. Some of the food lacked flavour, chow mein in particular lacked the smokey / fried flavours and textures you'd usually expect. Egg rice was very thick grained and possibly over cooked, also lacked seasoning.

Booked food due to high ratings but my food was not good. Pork was tough and fatty, Singapore noodles were tasteless and had a slight bleach taste. None of the dishes were cooked with salt, very bland and would not order again from here.

Order delivered on time by lovely driver and meal was great- everything hot. Definitely order again!

Loveliest Chinese takeaway in Notts

Lovely food. Very fresh and arrived on time. Thank you and happy new year.

Absolutely disgusted. Order turned up 10 minutes late then when I finally got it my order was incomplete, called only to find out I'd have to wait another 30-40 minutes to receive the rest of it but even that took another hour so 1hr 10minutes in total we were left waiting before the whole order arrived. No apology, no offer of anything as a gesture of good will, nothing. Fuming!

Food was terrible, better on chicken was soft and chicken had bones in. Crispy wanton looked like flat mush. Rice was just nasty.

Food was not very warm and seemed like the rice was ‘old’. Have previously had many meals from BB and always good, but this was not great at all. 🙁

Great food delivery a bit expensive

Wrong dish delivered. When I called they were already aware but had not tried to rectify it. Took a long time for the correct dish to arrive. All the food was cold.

I ordered this meal at 6.35pm and it came at 8.40pm. Way later than was estimated. As this was so late I used the Just Eat option of asking for a partial refund. The restaurant gave £3 and withheld the usual free prawn crackers! No apology was given when delivering the food. I'm a regular customer with Big Bamboo so very disappointed at their customer service.

Gorgeous food and good customer service. The app messed up saying my order was cancelled but a quick call to the friendly staff and food was with us within 10mins.

Paid for a order online which all went through absolutely fine. After we had collected the food, we noticed that we had items missing so I called back and she expected me to go back to get the food that they had not given us. I asked for a refund as I would not be going back and then she told me that the payment had not gone through and I owed them money. Which the payment had clearly gone through. She called me numerous times telling me I need to pay again. They tried to get double the money out of me.

Picked the meal up at required time..very , very chewy lemon chicken. Not great.

made the mistake of ordering from here again after a terrible order earlier in the year. Really awful quality food. Very strange taste to some of the meat. The beef dish had a couple of nice pieces and some that left a very bad taste in the mouth and it was a mix of hot and cold bits. Chinese curry was a shocking gloopy texture, I realise its normally a gloopy dish but this was bad. Rib sauce was bad. Wantons were inedible flat grease soaked filo pastry. Egg fried rice had almost no visible egg. Everything had an odd artificial taste. Never again.

Amazing food! Fresh and tasty. Duck in plum sauce is so soft and juicy!

Absolutely delicious, slight error we got chicken chop suey instead of chicken foo young but we still managed to polish it all off. Will definitely order from here again

Prawns rubbery and chicken so dry I had to spit it out

All the meat was very dry and didn’t have much flavour to it. Compared to other Chinese we had ordered from too the portions seemed very small.

Just had a delivery. Food taste good but as a loyal customer we ordered king prawns in batter as always which started out as 10 then went to 8 and now is 6...... and the prices keep going up. So in future will have to look around as we think companies are now 'jumping on a bandwaggen'. As they say.

I don't mind the delivery being slightly late. But it's annoying that some of the order didn't arrive. We only ordered 1 main course and 4 sides. And yet there were items missing. Let the meal and experience down. All I get is a refund (hopefully for the missing item). A full refund would go some way to make amends.

Food was quite late. When I called they told me it would be 5 minutes, then I called 15 minutes later and they admitted they hadn't even sent it yet! Really upset because we've been here a few times and it's just getting worse and worse. Probabaly won't order from here anymore

Delivery took 1 hour 45mins for 2 dishes and 1 of them (sweet and sour chicken balls) was very over cooked and dry so was disappointed, never had a problem before, hope it was a 1 off.

Food was cold and the BBQ ribs were tasteless and tough. No BBQ flavour what so ever.

Our food was delivered early but two of the dishes were barely luke warm. Very disappointing especially as we are currently without a microwave so were unable to reheat it. I also ordered chicken chow mein thinking it came with chicken and vegetables in it but sadly only chicken. ( maybe a description on the website would help- I'm sure its had veg in when I've ordered it from other places) All in all, a disappointing meal that was supposed to be a special treat.

Our food didn’t taste too great, the beef didn’t taste much like black bean, the ribs were not a nice flavour - I’m not sure if it was meant to be bbq sauce but the taste was more a Smokey flavour. We were quite disappointed tonight

Usually the food is lovely from here but the aromatic duck was too dry and the Singapore chow mein tasted burnt. Really disappointing

Overpriced for what we got. Spent £35 on a set meal + one extra. One item from the set meal was missing. Ordered salt and pepper chips but got normal chips. Everything else was luke warm and pretty bland. Only gave 2 stars bc it actually arrived pretty quickly.

Brilliant new gluten free menu

This place has always been outstanding but last night was just awful!! Food turned up barely warm, looked and tasted weird! The beef in the chow mein was slimey and had a green tinge! Chips looked like they were the previous nights leftovers. As soon as the food came through the door there was an overwhelming stench of onion. Tried to call, no answer.. Also put their prices up obviously to take advantage of the time of year. Prices up, standards have massively dropped. Defo won't be ordering again! Had to request a refund through Just Eat!!

As ever the food was good but it arrived nearly an hour after promised, by which time we had lost interest in eating.

2 hours for delivery. Food was nice when it arrived.
