Terrible experience with this takeaway- via delivery. One of the dishes was wrong I called to complain and I was questioned and then told well what do you want us to do about it? I told them forget it and we won’t be using you again. We then attempted to sit down as a family to eat what we had been given. The food was so tasteless- we have no idea what the meat was in the special dish. The chicken was like rubber and the prawns were undercooked. The chips were dry and the noodles were like elastic bands. We could not eat it! We called again to complain and were told there’s nothing we can do about it and were dismissed. After paying £46.50 and still hungry - we were left with no other choice but to package the food into food waste bags and return them for a VERY reluctant refund from owners.

Couldn't fault our takeaway.we had spare ribs , sweet & sour prawns, special chow Meon and special ruce with chips, the meat was lovely. We are new to the area will certainly be back. They were so very busy and pgone kept ringing j can see why..thanq x

We have been using this Chinese for years however the food seems to have gone downhill rapidly. Ordered a Kung Po Chicken and Chicken in Satay sauce and honestly struggled to tell the difference between them. Both had slimey chicken, were watery and very little flavour. Other dishes were bland and overall very expensive for a disappointing meal. I think that will be our last visit.

Shan moon has such amazing staff and the food well evarryones got ther opinions but this place is the best Chinese takeaway I can't finde any other that's better than shan moon always good food wont go anywhere else highly recommended

Spend £50 for delivery is unacceptable

The food was average—not bad, but nothing special. However, the delivery experience was unacceptable. My phone died while I was waiting outside for my order, and instead of handling the situation professionally, the delivery driver came to my address shouting and cursing at me. He insulted me, called me names, and even made derogatory comments about needing to go to university. He also used the word "spastic," which is completely inappropriate. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, and no customer should be treated this way. I would not recommend ordering from here unless they address their staff's professionalism and customer service. Update: Today both of us were troughing up, and felt really unwell.

Food very bland. Special chow main, nothing special about it.

First time ordering Chinese from them as my usual Chinese was closed. Really good service. When I rang to check the delivery time. The woman on the end was really nice, friendly and professional. Same with the delivery driver. Quick delivery time. Food was lovely. Tasted really good. Definitely, will order from them again.

No, my order was to take away. Alway pleasant staff, and food is top quality. We always enjoy the food from there. We travel to this Chinese restaurant as the ones in our area are nowhere near as good.

The second visit in a month and the second time order was wrong too.. Not sure if the old guy taking the order got it wrong or the cooks did. Either way so not impressed. Even while waiting this evening a customer returned as her order was wrong. Will not be returning.

I’ve been going to this Chinese for years and it’s still one of the best, only wish they would open up restaurant again as I prefer to sit in rather than take away.

Literally just ate from here & I didn’t enjoy at all. No flavour wats so evaaaa ! NEVER AGAIN

Not good. Everything tasted the same and that flavour was bland with a hint of cleaning cupboard. At least it was hot and arrived quickly but thats about all it had going for it. Upon further inspection, this place has a fold hygiene rating of 1. I usually check first.

Honestly this is the worst Chinese takeaway I have ever had in my life. It was so bad we returned all the food and got our money back. I really do not recommend going here. Everything is so bland and plain. Also the portions are tiny for how much they charge. Avoid at all costs.
