I was live-in bar/cellar man in this pub in the early 90s.Kings Cross was a dangerous area then but The Swan was a decent pub with meals for the surrounding office workers. Just on Regents Canal. Coming from Ireland I thought it was great that workers were allowed to go for a couple of pints at lunchtime. I was in my early 20s and a good time to be in London. There was a Spanish bar-restaurant in Pentonville Rd and Filthy ManNasty’s up in Amwell St and Minogue’s Liverpool St. Walking up Chapel St Market to Upper St Angel. The 90s the good old days 😀

We loved this place. Fantastic service. Delicious food. Had a really memorable evening. Very good value for money. Plenty of choice.

My Partner and myself decided to go for a sit down meal we decided on the TJs in the precinct We chose the all you can eat buffet where you can have as much as you can and the main course too It was hot,Tasty,the service was impeccable we will return

Went in at lunchtime , friendly staff nice tasting food. Get money worth , had lunch time deal plus 2 extras soup and chicken balls

Chinese restaurant got noodle soup 🍜 was like a kids portion the noodles couldn't swim about .The chicken curry not great .

My mate's dad ran a dim sum restaurant in Australia as he grew up. He researched dim sum places in southeast London and specifically recommended we go to this one! It was great. I've been a few times and have never regretted it

My family has eaten at all of the hot pot restaurants in Edinburgh. They are all good. All a little bit different than the other in the foods you can get. Its worth trying them all. I'd come back to this place.

On this occasion, food and service was good.

I ordered a takeaway last night the 7th of December 2024 from the Pearl Palace. I was looking forward to the curried beef, fried rice, and Chicken balls done in batter. I so wished i had gone somewhere else. The meat was hard and chewy and the only vegetable in the container was onion, lots of it. The curry had no tase whatsoever and the Chicken balls were doughy batter. The whole lot was thrown in the bin as it was truly awful. I would never ever recommend this restaurant to anyone, it was just terrible.

Beautiful restaurant! Great food- very tasty and an excellent variety of meats and dishes. Service was top notch with polite and friendly staff. Really made my evening! :)

We bought pork fried rice and chicken chow mein. Both were very dry and were not enjoyable.
