Ordered in advance but still had to wait Otherwise great food

The worst Chinese I have ever had. We were staying at a holiday cottage and ordered a takeaway. Crab & Sweetcorn soup - no crab just that awful artificial crab stick chopped up and floating in it. BBQ ribs disgusting fatty and under cooked and definitely not a BBQ sauce. Chicken chow mein inedible, need I go on. Bill was £40 for 2 only thing edible was prawn crackers -

Worst Chinese ever. Crab and sweetcorn soup no crab it was crab sticks . Couldn’t recognise the pork chicken chow mein was unbelievable, large thin slices of tasteless chicken, BBQ ribs just about edible. Only thing good was prawn crackers, obviously did not require any skilled cooking. At £40 for 2 people I think not!!!

Always have good food here, wait time can be a little long, but can rarely fault the food that we get, curry sauce portion could do with being a bit bigger

Just picked up a meal from Jade Garden and it was excellent, the best we have had for ages. Best quality ingredients cooked to perfection.

Dissatisfied with the meal, never had such an awful takeaway, won’t go into detail but will not ever used again and we are locals.

Absolutely disgusting!! Worst Chinese we have ever had, we was away on holiday and wanted a Chinese for our last night and was so disappointed, we drove 20mins to pick it up when we got back half our order was missing, so we went back to pick up the rest and other costumers where in there complaining too, the food was so tasteless, most of it went in the bin.

Excellent Chinese takeaway with a good range of dishes always cooked very well, and super fast service. We have been using them for the past two years and never been disappointed. They do say you can dine in but they have a couple of tables and zero ambience so would only consider as a takeaway but for that they are very good. Also easy parking behind the takeaway for pick ups.

Been ordering from here for 5 + years. Always amazing food and great service. Food arrived last night 15 minutes early (always a bonus) hot, and brought with a smile. 10/10 for the delivery driver, always quick and cheery transaction with this guy. Highly recommend and will continue to order every Saturday night.

This place gave me food poisoning, I had some egg rice, salt and pepper chilli chicken and I think it was some satay duck/pork. That night I was vomiting and had diarrhea, since then for the past day, I have been very gassy and stomach cramps every hour. Would not recommend for anyone

I don't know what has happened to Jade Garden Ordered a meal on 29th August. Told it would be 40 mins. Arrived about 15 mins later. Good service you might think but alarm bells rang. The meal was awful Egg Fried Rice couldn't find any egg. The other two dishes tasted like they had been kept hot for some time. The meal ended up in the bin. Won't be using this restaurant again! Shame spoiled my birthday!

Nice Chinese, parking not great but at 21:30 I was able to park on the yellow line outside. Food was prepared very quickly and tasted very nice. Price was a little more than I thought it would be but nothing outrageous. I'd definitely use this takeaway again.

First time we've tried this takeaway. Excellent quality (plenty of meat in dishes not all sauce!), good choice of menu, freshly cooked, very efficient collection service. We would definitely recommend.

Stayed locally so ordered from Jade Garden for delivery. Was told 30 minutes so walked down to meet them, turned up after an hour whilst we're standing in pouring rain and thunderstorm. Chicken chow mein was tasteless, no sauce or vegetables, just bland noodles and lumps of processed chicken. Crispy chilli beef tasted like it had been made with tomato ketchup and egg fried rice was also tasteless. I see so many good reviews on here, so can only assume they were busy and compromised quality for quantity. I had used birthday money for the meal and had been really looking forward to it. Waste of money and a pot noodle would've been much nicer.

Consistently good food, always hot on delivery and are very willing to accommodate dietary requirements.

After a five hour drive these guys deliver to our caravan site. Ordered and 20 minutes later delivered . Very friendly driver. Chicken in yellow bean with cashew nuts and house special curry were excellent. We will return whilst here.

A 2 hour wait for food and when it turned up it was like warm and a dish missing .when I called them I was told I did not order it and if I wanted it I would have to pay even tho I added up my bill and I had been charged for it. In the end they gave me the dish .

Best Chinese takeaway in North walsham

My partner and I ordered yet another meal from here and once again it was absolutely superb! They informed us there may be a slight delay in getting our food to us for home delivery. Well from order to delivery (5 miles away) it took no more than 40 minutes which is fantastic. Anyway, getting to the food, when it arrived it was still hot, I ordered the red Thai curry this time and my partner ordered crispy salt and chilli chicken. The food here is so so full of flavour and leaves your taste buds tingling. The red thai curry had the perfect heat about it for me and the spice didn’t take away the gorgeous flavours! Well done guys and keep up the good work! I also have to mention the lady on the phone when I place these orders, she is so accommodating and so polite! Thanks again

Jade Garden was recommended to us so thought we would try. Unfortunately it has to be one of the worst we have had. Food was just warm, appearance as though it had been cooked off and sat on a hot plate for sometime, did not look fresh by any means. All the dishes were completely tasteless, very bland. Curry, well apart from little taste had that texture of powder as though a bad powder mixed sauce. Crispy salt and pepper battered king prawns not crispy at all, infact soggy as hell. So of course would not recommend nor use ever again. Shame.

Excellent Chinese take away this evening. The best crispy squid! Polite, friendly and efficient service.

Delivered to the campsite we were staying at which was a bonus however the delivery cost was a bit rich at £5. That said, the food was excellent. It was very tasty and hot.

Just my opinion, but I think this is the best Chinese Takeaway in town. Fair prices, good food, wide selection and they deliver out of area (but not to far).

The noodle thing, surprisingly hot which was good and delicious, plus the noodles weren’t too slimey! Chicken balls soft and scrumptious. Sesame toast okay, never had it before seemed a bit soggy. Beef black bean thing, had better but the veg was el dente which I like. Crispy beef, could’ve been crispier and spicier. To sum up, it is no pitza but I’d go elbow deep into Jade’s garden again

Ordered at takeaway for delivery to Felmingham, first time trying the local Chinese. Lovely food, great flavours, was delivered hot too. Plenty of choice on the menu, will definitely order again and would recommend Jade Garden 👍

I have tried a lot of Chinese takeaways in North Walsham,Wroxham,and cromer and I can say that, they are the best around always fresh, hot and really delicious, crispy chilli beef. Special chow mein, sweet and sour chicken Hong-Kong style is amazing. Value for money highly recommended

Sorry to say our meal was not good for almost £30. Chow mien over cooked and stodgy, chicken had funny taste, chips lots of small hard ones like they had been reheated, house special fried rice was very wet and congealed and the white sauce was very unusual. The food on offer is very good. The portions are excellent and are very tasty. Provide home delivery service which is helpful if you cannot get there.

Used to be a good place this have not had food from there for a while so I decided to have the special fried rice and special chow main was looking faward to it but it was awful the prawns in the rice looks a week old and I don’t no what they do with the chow mien but it taste like they throw a cup of dish water in it just a very weird taste I won’t be ordering from here again and advise any one to avoid the chow mien

Always paid by card over the phone as previous owner had always been ok with that. I’m a care worker so don’t carry lots of cash on person or in the car. Got home and had a glass of wine. Decided to have a takeaway as too tired to cook. Jade Garden are no longer taking payment by card as got new owners. One lost customer!!!!!

We decided to get a take out from Jade Garden last night, we normally use the Great Wall but thought we would see what it was like!Well where do I start! Noodles tasted like they came from a pot noodle pot. Chicken had the texture like it was cooked for a week, Rice was completely tasteless. Binned the lot and ended up with a dairylea sandwich! Wish we would have stuck to what we know and gone to The Great Wall.

Always get our Chinese from here but tonight 14/6/19 it definatly wasn't up to their normal standard. Bbq sauce tasted very odd, chicken chow mein tasteless, beef curry also no taste. Very disappointed as normally really good.

Love the set meal beef curry egg rice source (I get curry not hot but testes grate) chicken balls and and only 9 pound can be a wait sometimes but defiantly the best in north walsham i never had any bad food yet

the seating was cold atmosphere was dull and the food apart from the crispy duck was bland.Being next to the front door which was always opening and closing (take away) the food lost its heat and the appetite soon followed. Service was slow and we felt as though we were an inconvenience.Will not do that again

One word - delish! We took a chance as we've visited Norfolk lots of times but never ordered from here before - we weren't disappointed! Only complaint is that we ordered too much. Portion sizes are bigger than expected so we won't order as much next time. Not sure when we will be back in the area but when we are, we may very well go back. Decided to give this place a go as I really like Chinese food. Very authentic and tasty, plus lovely and hot. Not greasy as Chinese can sometimes be. No, really nice. The only down side to the place is parking your car but that really isn't an issue. Thanks for a lovely meal we both enjoyed.

By far the best Chinese in the area

I had a meal from Jade Garden tonight and it was disgusting. The rice was dry like it had been cooked and burnt to a pan. The prawn crackers were over cooked (brown and gold). They were generous with the chicken but there was no sauce and barely any veg with it. The spring rolls are a nice size but again... over cooked.

We had a takeaway delivered last night, and they very kindly agreed to deliver it on their way home after closing as we needed a later delivery. This kind service is very much appreciated and followed by an absolutely delicious meal.

1st review. I dunno what has happened the food used to be brilliant, now it's bland and tasteless. Im sorry guys but you need to sort it out. 2nd review. I stick to my 2 star rating. If it wasn't because it was a Monday and everywhere else is closed I wouldn't have come back. The vermicelli was lacking in flavour and the chow mein was 80% grease. And another thing, I ordered a chicken fried rice and got a house special fried rice, which was dry and flavourless. Even my cats won't eat it, and they aren't fussy eaters. Sorry guys you are a really friendly bunch and I hate to do this, your food was really nice a one point. You except my custom again until you've sorted it out.
