Was in Mundesley for a bank holiday weekend and this was a take away meal . Really good not greasy at all . Reasonable prices and great tasty food . Would deffo recommend .

Food is tasty but greasy. Unfortunately it made all 3 of us very sick. I also found a straight black hair in my food (I’m a curly blonde). Never again🤢

Not a restaurant, but a really good takeaway. Very tasty chinese food, if a little expensive. We had mains and starters. The big pancake rolls and fried prawn dish were great.

Great food but takes a while to get your order, even with a phone order.

On holiday near cromer, New Sage recommended to us. Food was a Of outstanding quality and very delicious. Fresh vegetables and great portion size. Chicken chow mein superb, full to brim in box, packed with vegetables. Ribs tasty, prawn toast amazing. Miles away at home now, fancying the food as I write. Enjoy people you wont be disappointed!!

The worst Chinese we have ever had hardly any meat in the beef spring onions and ginger mostly onions.No taste at all .

Ordered here whilst on holiday. The food did not disappoint, both the Chinese and Thai dishes were delicious and would definitely recommend to others. We pre-ordered online and set out collection time (only advisement would be that even with collection time there is still a little wait for the food if its a big order)

We ordered some regular chinese dishes...and all were very very tasty. Sometimes a little sceptical when I am holiday as I have had a couple of bad experiences ordering Chinese takeaway..however, all of the food and service was exceptional and reasonably good value for money!!

Ordered food online, payment on collection, cash and card accepted. Didn't have to wait long for food. Tasty and well cooked food, good value and lots of options to choose from. Enjoyed our food from here and would recommend.

A wee bit over priced but the chicken curry with fried rice was excellent

First time customer, just ordered a large order for our family on hols. Amazing food, hot and tastes wonderful. The thal red curry was a big hit. Friendly customer team and very helpful. Sadly we live miles away and can't make this our local. Well done.

Food was lovely apart from the chips which were very dry I don't think they were freshly cooked seemed like they were refried. Also very pricey.

Have been to New Sage take away the last two years and fo the quality of food was not as good as on previous visits. This time it was nearly all noodles no mushrooms onions a little bit of meat and was VERY oily. Would not go back again.

Not happy at all.food was not hot but barely warm.the ribs had more fat on than meat also items were missing from the orders unfortunately won't be using again.

This was the first time to try this takeaway as its a little far out from where I stay. But as I do many reviews on restaurants and hotels, I thought we give it a go. Was really surprised the food was pipping hot. The fried rice was good too. Main meal could of done with a little more on the ginger 🫚 as it was a prawn and ginger dish. But overhaul the place is clean also busy and had to wait. The was good in general . Happy to go back again

I had counted 5 human hairs in my rice black hair it put me off the rest so the whole meal went to waste me and my children and hubby wasn't happy thanku for ur reply we were on holiday back home now

Honestly amazed at how good this is. Best Chinese I've had, and it's come from Mundesley. Greet value, very good food. Would recommend the set meal for 2 (the more expensive option). We added a serving of noodles to our order. Didn't need. Superb. Pop to Lidl for a bottle of Pinot Gris and you have the perfect dinner.

Ordered takeaway on arrival and waited for it to be cooked - no complaints, great food for a fair price.

Really simple to order on their website - then went to pick it up and pay be card when collecting at our specified time. Food was so good… really tasty. We had the Special Meal Deal which was piping hot and more than enough for the 2 of us even though we added extra king prawns, curry sauce and a large pancake roll to share! (Eyes bigger then belly’s!) Really reasonable prices too - everything for c£30 which I thought was really good. Would definitely order from there again if we are back this way - highly recommend!

On holiday based at Trimingham House caravan park but used this establishment on two occasions. Food lovely my wife and I commenting on how nice it was. Very popular too with a good few orders coming in whilst we waited.

Reviewed New Sage 4 years ago and reported that The food is was great. Have not used for a while but tonight had Chicken Curry, Rice and Spring Rolls. I arrived at the estimated time after phoning my order in, I live 2 minutes away by car. The Curry and rice were warm and NOT piping hot, cant be too careful with food like chicken and rice! Takeaway is not cheap so we only have it rarely as a treat and we were disappointed.

Booked our takeaway on line, a simple procedure. Although this was New Years Eve, we were able to book a collection slot within an hour. Food was of a good standard, and a wide choice on the menu. Nothing to disappoint whatsoever. Would definitely visit again, next time we stay in the area.

Always have at least one takeaway from here when we stay in Mundesley. It never disappoints. We had sweet and sour prawn balls and beef with green pepper in black bean sauce. Mundesley sure has big prawn balls!!! Delicious 😋

Excellent from start to finish! The guy who takes the orders on the phone is always friendly, polite and very helpful. The food is amazing and we have had at least 5 takeaways this summer which have all been hot, cooked perfectly and super tasty! Would definitely recommend.

We used to love our takeaway from here a year ago, but we just had lemon chicken, shredded beef and chips and alas food not anywhere near standard as it was, lemon chicken just tasted of sugar not lemon and shredded beef was not crispy was soggy and so sweet, chips very greasy and didn't seem fresh. It is a shame as I used to really enjoy my food from here

Went here for a tekeaway after being disappointed at the 'villlage chippy' a few days earlier - what a breath of fresh air. Food was piping hot and fresh despite there being a number of people waiting before me. Everything I ordered was absolutely delicious - keep up the excellent work!!

As we were staying locally we decided to have a takeaway from here one night. Previous couples had spoken well of this Chinese and we weren’t disappointed. Wonderful fresh ingredients, cooked to perfection. Sweet & sour prawn balls with delicious sauce, special fried rice, salt & pepper spare ribs and Szechuan chicken. Absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced I thought (compared to London).

Just finished our first takeaway. Very nice food. We ordered online, picked a time to collect and ready on time. I’d recommend it. Special fried rice was very nice and all good sized portions.

Staying at a local site on holiday and thought we would have a cheeky takeaway lovely food and great service, actually better than our Chinese in Birmingham. Was so nice we had another one on our last night 😊

Staying in the holiday village, went in person to order and collect. Very busy, service was good. Food was best I've had, duck pancakes best ever, pad Thai brilliant. Would highly recommend here and if we come back to Mundesley. We will re order.

Excellent takeaway of special fried rice and chicken balls (very lean, tasty chicken breast). Ordered by phone and read when we picked up ten minutes later. Very polite ladies at counter. Easy parking to front of shop.

Worst Chinese I've eaten suggest you find some road kill as would tast better

Just had a meal from here, absolutely horrific! £37 down the drain We ordered Chop Kam a la China ( a dish with duck, chicken, roast pork, vegetables and cashew nuts) all there was in this dish was vegetables and some white cubed meat ( looked absolutely disgusting) Thai mixed meat spring rolls No meat at all in these! Chow mein, the beef had absolutely no flavour The spicy and chilli chips were greasy and not spicy at all Crispy shredded beef was soggy Don't waste your money here, coming from up north the standards are set high, more than welcome to ​come and try a real Chinese takeaway

Treated ourselves to a nice little break away and found this quite by chance. Visited twice and cannot fault it at all. Staff are courteous and polite, food was ordered with minimal waiting time and was quite phenomenal. Over the 2 visits we ordered the veg spring rolls, chicken chow mein, egg fried rice, the gang-dang and panang curries. The portion size was adequate, could have even shared the curries with rice. Not too spicy but with just enough kick. The prawn crackers were also a delight. Would recommend it wholeheartedly, the only shame is that there is not one local to where i live.

Been going here many many years, changed hands a few times but can only remember once or twice not being up to scratch or messing up an order, love the food.

Have recently moved to Mundesley and had 2 takeaways from here. All the food is delicious, well cooked and hot. The guys taking the orders are great but best of all....the Mongolian crispy lamb! Very few Chinese restaurants make it, and so often it is tough and dry - this was perfect, melt in your mouth soft, the right sauce (not plum) totally yummmmmm.

Really good food. Was put off by some bad reviews but it tried it anyway, great rice, salt chilli chicken and Hong Kong chicken. Beef looks a bit grey so I’d stick to chicken. Portion size ok, prices a little high but not crazy.

Have been coming here for years but I'm afraid not anymore.Crispy beef with no actual beef just deep fried batter hardly any sauce. Portions so small, no cashews in one of the dishes and 3 mushroom slices in the mushroom curry just a tray of slop. Seriously do better going to Morrisins for a Chinese.

So so annoying, had various dishes ordered, spent a fair amount, collected the meals and discovered as we were dishing out a most important part of one of the meals, sweet and sour chicken balls, with no sweet and sour sauce, complained and was told to come and collect sauce, we didn't as the rest of the meals were already dished up, then told we could have chicken balls next time, are they kidding, no customer service, I wouldn't recommend or use again. Moral of the story, check your order before leaving the shop.

The empty car park as we turned up on a Friday evening should have been a clue! Portions very small. Undercooked noodles. Horrible meat and fish. Tasteless dish overall. Best bit of our meal was the prawn crackers. Wouldn't recommend at all. Expensive meal, not good value, and prob the worst tasting Chinese I've ever had.

Good variety of food for choice, always quick and professional. Recently some of the portions weren't great if i'm honest, especially compared to other Chinese's in the area, however this has only happened a few times. Might be a one off occasion. Still tasted great

One of the best Chinese takeaways we've had in a long time, everyone was extremely happy with their meals. My partner had sweet and sour chicken balls, my Dad had Pork with cashew nuts sharing a king prawn chow mein, and me and my mum shared tofu with black bean sauce, bean curd and basil, a mushroom chow mein and egg fried rice. Everything was cooked to perfection, we genuinely couldn't fault it.

We've both just had a excellent takeaway, well recommended.
