Staying in cottage near by. Ordered a meal for two people. Food was fresh and hot but disappointing. Special chop suey was covered in a red sweet sauce which ruined the meal . Tried a few days later and had a special curry. Prawns and pork ok but the chicken was horrible, spongy and nothing like chicken. Going home tomorrow so glad not to be eating that food again.

Great take away - delicious food with a varied menu. Chicken curry was superb as was the Singapore fried rice. Cash only. Service excellent. Food was piping hot.

I've been there many times and their Chinese food is so tasty. Quality or food was on the point and location was also good.

A family get away always lead to a Chinese takeaway and this did not disappoint good flavour , value and portion size only reason for 4 stars not 5 was the sauce size very small but that’s all there was minor but it’s the little things but great place would definitely recommend and have again.

I ordered a meal to collect. Very friendly lady there. The meal was amazing. Wonderful vegetable dish with prawns and a great mushroom chow mein. It was very tasty and would go here again. Thank you.

We are staying in Sheringham for our first time. This Chinese take away is brilliant!!! Visited twice!!

i collected noodles, they were alright. it could have been the packaging but they were slightly soggy noodles.

Much above average Chinese Takeaway, well appreciated on the first night of our brief escape from Covid.

We collected a takeaway this evening of chicken curry, boiled rice, chicken Cantonese style and mushroom rice, chips and prawn crackers the food was beautiful, really fresh and hot and the chicken was proper size pieces and just melted in your mouth. Absolutely 100%

First visit to this chinese takeaway. Food was very fresh and tasty. Will come back and would most definitely recommend

Being 64 years old i have eaten in many Chinese resraurants and had Many many take Aways from all over the UK,This has been the Best by Far.Shredded chilli beef in spicy sauce Better than any Restaurant i have had it in. Chicken dish just melted in the mouth I am in Sheringham for only a few days so will visit Again to see that it was not a lucky visit. [ watch this space ]

I regret to say we had a awful meal & had to put most of it in the bin. Prawn crackers were missing. We should have complained. Definitely a zero score.

Decide to have a Chinese while staying in Sheringham. Tried the chicken curry lunch box, very good taste and value

This was one of the best Chinese Takeaway we have ever eaten.Absolutely delicious.The sweet and sour chicken balls were made of tender chicken pieces,the best I've ever had!We ordered to collect,it was all ready when we arrived.Great meal,great service.Nothing left on our plates!

The food was very nice and the portions were large, too much in fact and unable to eat it all. Quick and friendly service. Would recommend as a takeaway.

The House Special Spicy number was lovely, fresh veg, fresh chili in a rich gravy with pork beef chicken and prawn. Chicken balls very chunky compared with most other places. All other dishes we had were a hit and side order of hoisin sauce! The rest was your standard stuff. We rang order through for 6 people and expected to wait an hour as it was a big order on a saturday but they were ready in 20mins so its speedy service. Beware cash only. Full menu on their trip advisor page. Will defo be using again

It's a shame that they can't tell the difference between prawn and pork. We ordered sweet and sour prawn and instead they served pork and then had the nerve to tell us that we were in the wrong. We will never use them again. I don't eat meat. This is absolutely disgusting.

So I recently visited Norfolk for a weekend away. I was not not keen on the restaurant I was staying at so I ordered Chinese from the only place that was close enough. The take away shop was clean and easily accessible with a clear sign. The lady who attended to me was a native from China and was very helpful despite her struggle with the language. I explained I was vegetarian and wanted something specific not on the menu. She assisted with clearing my confusion and I ordered. I had the tofu (named beancurd on the menu) with black bean sauce and mixed vegetables with rice noddles. The food took about 10-15 minutes to prepare and was piping hot when she provided it. She took my cash payment. No card payment option was available to me. The food was mild in comparison to what I am use to but one thing that did put me off was that the tofu was deep fried!! When I ate the tofu I could taste the oil and that really put me off. Plus I could see a thick layer of oil separate from the black bean sauce too. The vegetable selection was better that I thought it would be. It had broccoli , carrots, spring onions, cabbage, bean sprouts and bok choi which is pretty much all I ate from the tub. I'd say this place is average compared to a lot of other places I have tried. I'm not sure of the other itemson the menu for vegetarians but I know that the tofu is deep friend so I know I would not try them.

This Chinese was round the corner of the holiday cottage I rented with my family and I wish we'd made more use of it. On our last night we ordered a meal and the service was friendly and quick and the food tasted great.

Had a Chinese beef curry from here on Friday 22 June. Normally great food here but not this time. Chips and rice were fine curry was very poor basically meat and onion in curry sauce. Normally one would expect a bit substance. It was quite expensive to.

It’s some time since I had a take away from here and it was just as good. I did think that there was a little lack of spice but altogether it was tasty and good value for money. The large pancake rolls were wonderful, almost a meal in themselves.

Had a very tasty meal from this out of the way takeaway, good pieces of chicken in the curry and plenty to eat for the price.

Decent take away restaurant, which I’d happily frequent again if ever in town.

Checked out this takeaway as it has changed hands since our last visit, had the set meal for £9, it was ok but the curry was too thick really and spoilt the meal and the vegetable rolls were mini ones, the 4 given were the equivalent of half a normal sized one! Would pick another menu selection next time.

Usual menu offering, cooked well and always piping hot. Never had a bad meal. Fairly priced for Chinese food.

Four of us ordered something different from the menu and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The Crispy Duck is probably the best we have ever tasted. The Spring Rolls were huge, a meal in itself. About 8" x 3". Lovely they were but boy what a lot of food! Will go again.

All good. Recently renovated shop and food of a good standard. Would go back again. Only pain is you can't park outside as it's double yellows. Although that didn't stop me. 😂

Ordered a take away from the Golden Bowl Chinese Restaurant in Sheringham last night 4/4/17 and both my partner an I have been ill all night. Food was of terrible quality. Ordered Chrispy shredded beef and sweet and sour chicken along with prawn toast, rice and noodles.

Popped in for crispy duck and sweet and sour chicken. Have been before for larger orders and have always had great food. Today was no different - probably the nicest sweet and sour chicken balls I have ever tasted. Friendly service - the lady even gave my little girl a calendar as she has a Panda Bear thing at the moment. Another great visit.

we ordered here jan 1st for the first time and all of the meal was really lovely and plenty of it, cash only but very near a cash point, highly recomend we will be back, thankyou

Terrible food, every portion was full of onions and essentially tasted the same and lacking in any flavour The only redeeming factor was the prawn crackers and rice. We had a quarter duck which was ok but seemingly low quality as well. The food was also luke warm at best.

Good choice of food and not expensive. Ordered and the food was ready after about 10 minutes, still piping hot when we got back to our accomodation. Good portions and enjoyable.
