Great local Chinese food. Friendly and helpful staff. Duck in plum sauce is my favourite.

Friendly, polite and food ready on time. Fresh hot and great quality crispy chilli beef,duck noodles, capital ribs,orange chicken and chicken balls.

Haven't been in for a year so thought we would try .. got 7 dishes ..all the meat was so dry ..and chewy . ..no excuses meat very dry ..so surprised!!!.what has happened.. won't be back ..

Both of us were ill, after eating, maybe that's why we were not waiting long for the food when we ordered for takeaway.

If u want bad guts eat here the food was swimming in grease and the chicken was disgusting..my partner had duck with plum sauce ..don't know what she got but it wasn't that ..that's for sure

Messed everyone's order we got home only to find out order was someone elses, obviously cannot cope when busy, staff are rude

The food is delicious, and never tastes greasy as they are cooked with care and you get a good value for money for the price you pay, quick service and incredibly Friendly staff we even got free prawn crackers and fortune cookies which I was very surprised and happy about. I Highly recommend this Chinese the sweet and sour balls are a must have.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nice food with pleasant staff, I would recommend this place. Still got the covid barriers up, I would like to see this play back to normal.

Our first takeaway from here. Portions were fine the chicken balls were nice but the Kung po was disappointing. The sauce was tasty but the chicken was slimy!🤢

Fantastic food, bit pricey nowadays like most places unfortunately

Absolutely brilliant food, have eaten from alot of different Chinese take aways and the food here is definitely worth it. The reason I rated 4 stars instead of 5 is just because after paying for the order, collecting and getting home realised a few things were missing. So highly recommend just check you have everything you ordered.

These chicken balls really take me back to the time I was being force fed the most amazing food on the earth by the late queen Elizabeth back in the summer of ‘99. Honestly what a throw back it was, the flavours melting into my mouth like it was 700 degrees Celsius. Then the portion sizes really made me excited with a good amount of chicken balls to the point where one started to feel physically Ill due to the amount of balls and chicken in me. The chips were so succulent I left a changed man and thought that the world only needed chips to live on instead of actual food.

The food was enough for 2, but very nice.

Good food sold at this takeaway. Doesn't deliver and even when the order is rung through there is still quite a long wait.

Usually my go to Chinese but tonight all dishes were barely even warm and the rice was dried out and looked old. Very disappointed

Really recommend stopping by, I have driven past this Chinese for years and finally stopped tonight to be pleasantly surprised. I ordered Malaysian Sambal Bean Curd, Garlic with Chilli Bean Curd as well as vegetable Chow mein. The bean curds were perfectly fried from the outside and soft on the inside, and the chow mein had that smokiness from the wok that you search for.

Would be a 5 star if they delivered, food is above standard, however waiting times can sometimes drag.

Have previously had good experiences however found a piece of glass in our food. I rang straight away as didn’t want the same thing to happen to anyone else, was a young guy who answered and was apologetic but really didn’t know what to do so handed me over to someone else who could not understand me and therefore passed me back straight away without saying anything. The young guy offered me a free curry next time but I explained I was sorry but really put off coming back and they just apologised again. No offer of a refund or anything which in honesty I wasn’t really gunning for but so surprised it wasn’t offered. Other than asking what dish I found it in not much was said. I was surprised they did not ask me to bring it back so they could see and try to understand what has happened which is a bit worrying really. I know mistakes can happen but this is concerning as it was pretty jagged piece of glass also. Not sure if it was in the egg fried rice or king prawn curry as we had put the dishes together. So disappointing. Overall spent just over £15 and hadn’t eaten much at all by the time I found the glass.

This was my first expierience wth this restaurant.Food horrible,over cooked ad dry beef,salty noodles and rest no taste.all end up in a bin sadly. Don't recommend,will never eat there again

had a great meal tonight. Great rice and lemon Chicken. Very busy on Mothers Day evening but still great. Highly recommended.

Food is lovely, not sure if the old owners sold out but the service is disgusting. Tell you 10mins after which you arrive only to wait for a further 10 before they then give your order to another customer. After waiting for around an hour we eventually received most of what we ordered. Never again, this is one customer going elsewhere.

Food was great and the price was even better, the only downfall is the state of the establishment, pretty horrible with outdated furniture and cobwebs on the lights, feels very run down, I can't imagine what the kitchen looks like! This said the food was amazing and I'm still alive 3 days after so not all bad.

I drive 10 miles for Chinese take away from here rather than my local take away that is 2 minutes from home. food is lovely.

The best Chinese takeaway in town! We have tried every takeaway around and if you want consistent high quality food then Little China is the best one for it. We've moved further out from Stowmarket now but we still drive to here as its worth the drive. You can't go wrong with the Chow mein.

Lovely food for us last evening for new years eve would always recommend we are in stowmarket and go to Needham as far better food.

Food is alright, admitally it was very busy but taking 200 covers in 2hrs for a small place like that is absurd. I wished they were honest as we ordered and was told to come back in 45 minutes when we ordered. Came back and was waiting more then an hour for our order very poor service but for a small takeaway with very little staff they need to limit the amount of bookings they can take.

Always on point. Chilli beef is the one.

Overpriced. Only take cash Friday and Saturday. 🤔🤔🤔 busiest days of the week. Wonder if inland revenue know.

The food was really good lots of it and full of taste bigger portions than others I've used for the same price .we had a black cat that came and made a fuss of us outside hopefully we will see that again next time too

We have just moved to the area and decided to try out this Chinese takeaway, really can't fault it, food was hot, portion sizes were large, probably the nicest chinese food I've ever tried and very good value for money, will definitely use again

This seems to be a repeat of my last review. Ordered Singapore style chow mien with no shrimp, I double checked that the order would be with no shrimp. I was reassured that this would be fine. Got home and straight away I could see shrimp in the dish, returned the dish in the carton & the lad said so what you want me too do? Er re cook my dish please! Food quickly reappeared & the lad said sorry went to wrong side of kitchen easy mistake, apologies many apologies & was calling this out as I left. Unfortunately this is the only place that has this dish & husbands fav so thought we would try again, so shouldn’t of bothered. The rest of the order was greasy, over cooked, prawn crackers soggy. I have a shell fish allergy so this is important & really should be to Little China. Clearly no improvement since 2018, my last visit. Lesson learnt.

Decent value for money and good portion size. We ordered a broad range of options and each one was tasty and had a fair amount of meat in it. The flavours were a touch homogenous, but the Thai green curry was well flavoured. The pancake spring rolls are very greasy and might be worth avoiding.

A little slow but most certainly worth the wait.

Delicious and less salty food, compared with some other takaway. Really friendly and hospitable staff! Recommend it!

Good takeaway better than some locally

My dad swears by this place is food fit for godds ample size portions not stingy at all special fry rice is light fluffy and great flavour Chaw Ming not swimming in oil n greed like sum places do n well cheep n the chicken n king prawn balls are to die for I well are 12 yeah I felt blurp afta as did have a med special Frye's rice that cud feed 2-3 pepol but cudent help my self it was so good n prawn crackers ample portion n well tasey even the cat loves em

I ordered a takeaway at 5pm, I was told it would be 15 minutes ... and it was.Reasonably priced, hot when I got home and I throughley enjoyed it. Big Portions and so, I have some left over for my supper later on.

Enjoyed a couple of meals from here recently. Hot and tasty. Good portion sizes and value for money.

Had a lovely Chinese from here few Saturdays ago, was worth the wait. Is annoying if your told a time and then goes half hour over. Best meal I’ve had from here in a long time

I have eaten here several times as its nearer to me, but last nights meal was one to forget, the chicken balls we so greasey it left my mouth full of oil after a bite. The rice was dry and the spring rolls were big and empty and again saturated in oil, everything tasted bland... This isnt how it should be! Especially in this difficult time for businesses everywhere, they should pay more attention to quality. It was a celebratory dinner and i was very dissappointed. Wont be going back. Mr C.Ross

Placed order over the phone and clearly requested no shrimp in my dish due to my allergy. Went to collect and asked the lovely girl to check my order has no shrimp ... I clearly heard her ask the chefs if this dish contains shrimp ....she returned and told me yes it does !! I responded that I know it does contain shrimp hence why I ordered it without..this was debated in the shop.... chef appears and said I would have to wait as need to re cook. Waited, got home and found shrimp in my meal. Phoned them and did not get much of a response. This was my second time using little china in over two years as this would often happen. I will not be going back, I will travel further to actually get food that I can eat.

The only reason I have given this only a three Star rating is the service/waiting time. Do not phone the order through as they will not start to cook it until it is payed for also no card payments over weekends, Why!! The food itself was amazing and not too much money.

I have eaten here quite a few times, a few issues along the way but this time was the final chance for me! Salt and pepper chips were £2.20 more than normal chips but had only table pepper (supposed to be mixed peppers etc) and so salty they were inedible! The “crispy shredded duck” was not shredded, was certainly not crispy and was so full of fat it was disgusting! £40 spent on food for friends to enjoy together and it ended up in the bin, 2 out of 4 of us were so sick the next day that it had to be the chicken as we were the only 2 that ate it! I won’t be giving them another chance!

Excellent service and value for money

Fantastic food at good prices and plenty of it, friendly staff, enjoyed the maylian curry with one of the special rices, my wife enjoyed the kong Po and my daughter enjoyed the chicken chow main. And the left overs we enjoyed the next day.

Finger licking chicken curry, mouthwatering soy tofu, flavorfull garlic samon and crispy steamed broccoli are just a few great examples of what little China can offer. Can't forget the friendly and respectful staff and promt service. Definitely recommend

Don't even deserve a 1. Every time they make you wait at least half hour longer then when they have said. The girl on the reception just says 'I don't know how long will be' many times have now walked out without our order. When we have waited stupid amount of time and got it home the order has been wrong so have to go back and change and then come home to our cold chinese. Disgusting service.

It's not as good as it was, it's horrid now, dishes too oily, not as much meat now, seem to fill lots of the dishes up with cashew nuts. The rice noodles taste burnt, have them another try to see if it was a one off, nope it's still horrid. Years ago this was one of the best around, now it's dragging along the bottom and taste like it too!

Favourite place in Stowmarket for a Chinese and will never change. Wait time always reasonable, food great and service always polite and prompt answering the phone. Only downfall.. the bag of crackers could be a lil bigger ;)

The food was average: beef slices tough and cut too large, deep fried crispy shredded duck is actually similar to deep fried chilli beef you normally find in Chinese restaurants (sweet bright red sauce) so we should have clarified. The prices were reasonable, and service was good and polite; however, this is the first time we encountered a take -away place wanting to charge for chopsticks. £1, we were told, and when we asked if that was £1 each or £1 for us all, the girl said £1 is for two chopsticks, not one😂😂😂! Not good enough, unless you're lost, far away from home and in desperate need for Chinese food.

First visit to Little China normally go to other ones in Stowmarket but thought I'd try it due to reviews, the food was brilliant and so different to others tasted amazing

While similarly priced to the other takeaways in neighbouring Towns. This was the best yet. Could not praise it highly enough. Friendly and fast. Thank you.

Food was above average delivery time was spot on, my review would've been 4 star's but my portion of prawn toast was four small triangles I felt ripped off as it's the most I've ever paid and I've just moved from London! , made me dubious about ordering again which is a shame.
