The garlic bread.... oh my god. Its amazing

First time ordered from here so didn’t know what to expect. Everything was perfect, delicious and tasty. Came hot and quick.It was a large order and they delivered everything. 5 stars!!

I went there yesterday with my brother. The service was quick and agreable, and the food delicious. As there weren't many people in the restaurant, it was also calm and tidy. Would definitely recommend.

There are two floors. Each floor has different food shops. You can buy from 1/F and eat on 2/F. Girls loo is on 1/F and boys loo is on 2/F.

Honestly one of the worst meals I've had we had Banquet B and Banquet C on our table. The sweetcorn soup no one could eat it was so thick and gloopy we had to send it back. We found a hair in one of the spring rolls the crab claw was inedible. The chicken curry was a bowl of onions in bland sauce. Both the chicken cashew and King prawn were in a disgusting gloopy sauce and the chicken was like rubber the sweet and sour chicken was ok we did raise all our issues at the time and 10% was taken off the bill the staff are lovely but after spending £170 for 4 of us unfortunately we will not be returning. Its such a shame as here used to be a family favourite. Maybe there has been a change of chef or they have simply lowered their standards now serving disgusting frozen food. I would give 0 stars if I could.

Such a let down, this establishment has fallen a long way

We had the vegetarian menu, which was absolutely delicious and definitely the best Chinese restaurant out of China that I’ve been to. Very diverse and freshly prepared meals. The staff was super lovely and attentive and took care of our vegetarian diet. Will come back!

Staying nearby so popped in for dinner. Family of 6 of us. Very friendly staff who were extremely attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent and there was a good choice of drinks available. I would recommend the Beef in pepper and black bean sauce. It was beautiful. I would use this restaurant again if in the area.

Food was ok but charged for drinks we didn’t have, they took some off but still said we had more than we did. Guess we will go back to our Indian place that tries to charge for dishes we didn’t have, at least they take them off the bill…..

Went for dinner. It was very busy. The service was indifferent although the boy who took orders knew the dishes well. The vegetarian wontons just had stodgy mashed potatoes inside. The vegetable tempura had so much batter around!! which to me I think are not the way tempura should be made. They should have a very thin layer of batter!! The schezwan vegetables was ok but we’ve had better ones. The chicken with cashew was fine. I wish had some broccoli too in some of the vegetable and chicken dishes. Noodles were fine. The egg fried rice had very little egg in it! Overall a bit disappointed!

Stayed at this lovely gem of a hotel the last weekend of May/First of June. The staff were delightful on the telephone, and as helpful and charming in person. Special bouquets to the lady reception Saturday afternoon. Nothing was too much trouble, and we had a most charming room overlooking the cathedral. We enjoyed a stunning evening meal, chef take a bow - stunningly delicious. However, the other string to your now not to be outdone, was was the roast beef which was beautiful. Best Sunday roast I’ve had this year. The room eight was elegantly comfortable and spacious. Already planning a return trip in August/September. Wonderful all round. 👏

This was a great quality and great value restaurant with superb food. Great choice of meals across a range of courses. Ask for a side of chopped chillis in soy sauce to give extra bang! Recommend the Hot & Sour soup followed by the Kung Po Chicken. Terrific. Open. Friendly independent family restaurant. I'm going back!
