Amazing!!! Not much I can say just really good 😊

One of my absolute comfort places to be when i crave asian food. Its a one stop food hall for everything Asian! 🍜🍱 The taste, quality and quantity is top notch. The ambience is like any other food halls, busy but fast service.

I ordered budaejjigae (Korean) in deliveroo, but I noticed one piece of HAIR in here.

Great variety to choose from. Loved the japanese place.

It's small independent food stalls inside a building. Food is cooked at point of order no microwave nonsense and it's in front of your eyes. We went on Tuesday evening around 7.45pm. place was quite which we liked so we could read the menus and eat in peace and not feel rushed as this was the first time trying out a Asian food hall. Will be going back

Beautiful food and good value, the portions were massive, we went to the second floor where the Japanese and Korean stall was. The only thing is that you must top up a card instead of paying the vendors directly. You can get a “card” to put money on with either cash or card but if you do it by card then you cannot top it up again unless the transaction is over £5 ( I believe this sign should have been ON THE INSTRUCTIONS/GUIDANCE ) If you have money left over on the card you will not be refunded your £2 deposit for the card they’ve given you… The whole card thing just reminded me of an arcade, not great but food is really good

The Top-Up system is horrible. Too much faffing around so I left.

Went for my biirthday and tried pho for the first time and loved it and the service was swift and easy to understand. Big shout out to Min who served at the front desk. She went above and beyond to help.

You have to use a preloaded card for purchases, either cash card (whatever is left on the card is returnable) or card payment (none returnable) , so make sure you load the exact amount. Prices are always finishing on odd pence , guess that's been done on purpose. Food was very good, but half of the stalls were already closed, Friday at 8 pm. Felt like we had been rushed out the doors as the floor was washed around us. Sadly, it was not the best experience, and if not the food, I would give it 1 ☆

A market style food hall. Basically pop up shops with Japanese, Chinese, Korean and Thai food. You have to purchase a charge card and then use that to pay. If you pay cash, you get any refund back, but if you nominate to pay by card then there is no refund. I prefer the Japanese as I love my Sushi. It was really good. Reasonable prices and generous portions. The beauty is you can choose whatever everyone wants and not restricted. Plenty to choose from which is what will make you keep going back. The places is slightly out of the way from most of the china town restaurant and up upstairs.

Great place to eat, fast food, no kids options so expect to pay full price but food is great at all the kitchens so you'll end up sharing and finishing everything

Food was tasty and the portion sizes were excellent. The food hall was clean. Everyone was friendly. The cash machine was very handy.

One of my favourite places to eat in Birmingham. It might not be a romantic, quiet setting but it's still where we have our date nights, just because we love the bento boxes from Sakura so much. Great sized portions and always tasty. There's so much to choose from across the range of vendors, so it's also a great place to try new things and go outside your comfort zone. It can be busy, but we've always managed to get a seat. I think it's a really underrated city centre dining spot!

It was a very bad experience. I ordered a drink from Bobabao (the one on 2 floor), the staff made me a drink without the topping I want. I ordered a drink with mochi but they have run out of mochi. The staff replaced with coconut jelly without letting me know! The staff didn’t mention anything at all then gave me the drink. I checked the drink before I put in the straw and I couldn’t see any mochi inside. He only told me they have run out of mochi when I asked. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT.

The food was incredibly tasty and delicious. The service is very good and fast. The atmosphere is truly enjoyable. There’s plenty of space to find a seat even on weekends. Additionally, they have a wide variety of options for vegetarians. Hopefully, you find this post helpful.

Good food and variety, card is annoying

Hit or miss with this place sometimes they get it perfect sometimes just missed it u lucky if you get it in on a good day

The seller doesn't look welcoming to guests at all. No matter how many times I go, they act like they don't want to sell. If you're tired, take a break. Go buy something to eat. Make a face like you're asking for something to eat. 😒

I like bún bò there. Very huge portion

The food was not authentic. We ordered the summer rolls and they tasted soapy and the prawns used were not cleaned properly so they still had a raw smell. We were also charged for a meal we didn't order as the people serving refused to listen and didn't take note. The Korean fried chicken was not authentic and had a stale smell which eventually gave me food poisoning the next day. The pho and the bento box were ok i guess. I do not recommend this place sorry😞

What a fun place to eat! There are about 8 different vendors inside. Very cheap and big portions. Really tasty, could do with more space for seating.

Horrible food, one of the worst meals I’ve eaten out. Fried Korean chicken was bland and oily, Vietnamese rice rolls were hard on the outside and the prawn inside tasted like it was about to go off. Portion sizes were huge, maybe to make up for the taste.

A food hall spread over the 1st and 2nd floor with quite a reasonable selection for the space provided. There aren't that many tables which mean you may just have to share with strangers but the food here is good for the price. Good selection of drinks as well

Lots of variety of different Asian cuisines, we tried a few from different stalls, food was fresh and really flavoursome......there is lots of choice so it's ideal if you fancy different foods. The payment system is a bit weird as you have to top up a card and pay with that specific card. Really enjoyed the Japanese stall and Hong Kong stall. I would return to try more foods, the pho/Korean and Thai stalls looked really good too!

Sakura is a very popular Japanese cuisine here , they serve loads of choices , portion is big! The only thing is waiting time is long in lunch hour , but you won’t be disappointed with the quality of food .

Vietnamese Pho place was good! Friend wanted Biang Biang noodles, we waited for ages for the chef to turn up but he just didn't - would have been nice for him to leave a sign on the stall to say he wasn't going to be open.

Come here quite a lot, usually great! But the Japanese restaurant (Sakura, i think) stood waiting for 3 mins, they looked at me and just put a 'closed' sign up, not even a sorry or explanation! she walked away with a grin! The staff at reception were nice, so thats cool with me.

My first choice when the group can't decide what to eat. Lots of choice with good portions for a very reasonable price

Great food quality and price! Strongly recommend

Not sure if owners have changed but the last two times visiting bobabao bistro the bao buns have been disappointing with hardly any filling and have also had to wait over 25 minutes. The pork bao buns had left over bacon pieces in rather than pork belly. Had previously really enjoyed the bao buns from there but will not be ordering again.

It seems that the information of each restaurant has not been updated. Some restaurants no longer exist or have been moved. The products of some restaurants are getting worse and worse.

I do not recommend the first place at the entrance on the second floor, the worst ramen I have ever eaten. Overcooked tasteless pasta, tasteless broth, bland, overall terrible. In addition, the payment system is a total scam!

I often go for lunch and dinner, especially Japanese and Korean food. Always satisfied.

The food here is fantastic, I’ve been twice now, once on my own and once with my wife, we shared a bento box because they’re big, and it was enough by a mile. Yesterday we had the crispy chicken and bbq spare ribs bento, and last week I had the battered chicken and beef one, both superb, and actually worth the money

Sin duda mi lugar favorito para la comida en este preciso momento, es la segunda vez que he estado y es absolutamente fabuloso, honestamente no puedo superarlo. En ambas ocasiones he tenido una caja doblada 🍱 He tenido el pollo crujiente y la carne de res no 41 , pollo crujiente, y costillas de repuesto de barbacoa 42 . Con todas las demás cosas en la curva, son enormes y preciosas, podría llorar cuando haya terminado, son porciones enormes, yo y la esposa compartimos la última, y ambas salen llenas hasta el borde. Ojalá tuviera otro estómago para intentar otro. EL MEJOR LUGAR QUE HE COMIDO EN BRUM. El final.

Always a good experience when we visit! Food is amazing, fresh sushi and halal korean food! Can order from seceral vendors using a top-up card which is fun and allows you to try several things in one visit. Definitely recommend!

Husband had the soy sauce Korean chicken with rice, coke and I had the pull pork bun. Will definitely come again to try other menus. Great selection of foods and eateries. Perfect for a fussy family with different tastes.

Comida pedida a Noodles Tree poco abrumadora. Assam Laksa, fideos de gambas al curry, fideos secos y fideos de langostinos a la mantequilla todos carecían de sabores auténticos, la salsa era acuosa, muy decepcionado.

Very love japan food named sakura shop. Large portions and delicious

Esto es genial para una noche casual. La sala de comidas tiene varios restaurantes independientes que sirven una variedad de comida de Asia oriental (japonesa, coreana, tailandesa, vietnamita, china). Mi amigo y yo fuimos a Sakura. Tenía la caja de tofu bento y el Nasu Dengaku (¡Berenjena a la parrilla en una deliciosa salsa! ) y recomendaría encarecidamente ambos.

Have been ordering braised beef and tendons noodle from Bee Thai food every visit since I tried it in Warwick Thai festival 2 years ago(the vendor went there). Great portion size and the quality remained peak. Red bean Ice from皇冠冰室 was lacking, milk was really watered down, not even cold while I ordered the more expensive ”iced” version. Not sweet enough. Not worth the 4.5 quid spent on this

Food was ok it was better last time.

Been here quite a few times now, I do like to space my outings but the Korean Fried Chicken is so good I sometimes end up there twice a week Honey Mayo 🌟 the star of the food court, I had to find out how to make it myself to stop going there so much. Spicy honey flavour is really good too and spicy chicken sizzler all from the Korean food vendor. The ladies are very patient and polite despite it being so busy every time. Recently tried the salmon tofu bento box from Sakura, it's okay Only a couple stores are halal like the Korean food one and even then only the chicken is halal but then again that's all I really go for. Some people seem confused about the card system they have, even I was to begin with but being an asian food court it does make sense. One card is for cash that you're renting for £2 which you'll get back and you load an amount onto it in CASH to spend at the food court. The other card is for card payments only which you buy for £2, non refundable as you get to keep the card and money on there for when you come next. So if it's a one time trial you want, just get the red card to rent for £2 which they'll give you back along with any cash you load onto there, I do that every time I'm there.

For a food hall type vibe, it's fine. Great food. If not familiar, the vendors use a central credit system where you need to charge credit to a customer card. The cards are available on the 1st floor near the elevator. Easy process and kind customer service.

A very comfortable place with multiple food stalls providing Asian cruisine. Thai, Japanesem Vietnamese and Hong Kong style to choose. I like the Sushi.

We came on recommendation from our son. We went around the vendors, and there was only one lady who actually came out to show us what they were selling. We ordered our food, and when we got it, it was lovely. We had to go back downstairs to get a card which put money onto it, to purchase your food. So if you use cash to put on the card, you have to pay an extra £2 like a deposit, which you can get back before you leave. Now, if you use your card to put money on it, you still have to pay the extra £2, but you can't get that back, as they can't refund card payments. So they can take your card payment, but they can't refund it 🤔 They must make so much extra money from this, from the people who never go back.

don’t get me wrong the food is amazing here, but the staff can be so rude in certain stations. it can also get really busy and overwhelming , maybe because the only time i’ve been is on the weekend

The rice of Lamb is very delicious food from Pho Viet Vietnamese Street Food. The taste is very good and the amount is quite enough for man eating.

Not bad, food is fairly satisfying..bit pricey though for the atmosphere, u can get those price from a restaurant on its own, not a shared cramped place..🙄 otherwise not a bad grub when ur hungry😁👍 the Korean and Japanese food are not too bad, portion size ok but not a place that u would always go back✌️

Great range of East Asian food, with a casual atmosphere in this food hall setting.

Always wanted to go and finally got the chance. Lots of really good looking food and the stuff we ate was certainly good. The portions are of a good size. For around ten pound I got one food portion and it was a big meal really. Good value. One caveat is the confusion with the membership card and charging it up with money. But a friend paid for everyone's food so nice and easy. I'll happily return.

A great place to go as a group where everyone can pick and choose what they want to eat. French toast from the Hong Kong cafe upstairs is a must!

I went here for the first time yesterday and I was really impressed. There is a wide range of Asian cuisines on offer (we opted for Korean but there was Vietnamese, Chinese, Cantonese, Japanese, Malaysian, etc). You have to pay £2 to either secure a cash based red card (whatever money you put on it and don't spend you get back in cash at the end) or a debit card based black card (your money stays on the black card until it's spent again). The food we had was delicious, hot and tasted really fresh and there were lots of vegetarian and vegan options (the tofu was delicious). Most mains were £8-10. We got there at about 1pm and it was very busy but we didn't struggle to find a seat. The venue is kept clean and organised and there was a great, busy atmosphere. I can't wait to return when I'm next in Birmingham. Drinks were a bit expensive (£2-£3 for a can) but most of them were imported. There are 2 flights of stairs and a lift.

Sakura - absolutely adore this Japanese place. MASSIVE portion size especially their bento boxes worth two meals easily. Their sushi is great and the salmon sashimi is fresh and super THICK CUT they don’t skimp at all on portions ❤️ definitely recommend. Takeaway is good too. Chao - they do amazing banh mi and bowls, super filling. One of the best banh mi’s I’ve ever had and have been recommending to friends who agree but shame I don’t think they do banh mi’s anymore? Their drinks are great, huge selection and I’m a big fan of their orange lemongrass drink! Really nice deals Other Asia Asia foods are good too - especially the other Vietnamese stall next to sakura, amazing crispy fish sauce chicken wings 🙌 So much great selection thank you Asia Asia!

Fantastic food, one of the best Asian meals I have had. The only thing I would say is watch out for the portions as the are quite large but that said I see it as a positive thing

The first and second floors have food courts with about 15 tables on each floor. You need to buy a prepaid card in advance and top it up before ordering.

Food is amazing, really authentic experience. The only annoying part is the top up card, very inconvenient and to be honest people buy less as they can't be bothered to top up the card.

Really popular with the East Asian community, which is always a good sign of authentic food. Have been countless times, and I can't wait to go back again. The food is always so tasty, and love the different options as I prefer Japanese but my family love the Korean fried chicken

Always has good, well portioned food with decent prices, the variety you can get is amazing I try and get a different thing each time I go. Easy to order and collect food which is a bonus, sometimes it can take quite a while but that's fine. The only issue I have is it's not clear which stores are open when as everytime I've come different stores have been closed. There may well be information somewhere, but it's not obvious. Definitely gets very busy at the weekend especially for dinner, but during the week it's quite a peaceful place to go for lunch. So if you're overwhelmed by people I would suggest a quieter time.

I love this place it’s amazing the food and the affordable prices.I like that fact that you can get food from various places in the establishment. The only thing is make sure you put enough motion the cards used to pay first time cause adding more money can be a hassle later on. The staff are friendly and are willing to help explain to those that have never being before. I went with a friend and every now and then she reminds of this place that’s how much she loved it.

Always amazing food, we went Japanese this time. I had the Teriyaki Steak Don and the other half a Teriyaki Salmon and Beek Bento box. Portions are great value, you won't be disappointed. This is a bit of gem if you like East Asian cuisine, good choices include Thai, Vietnamese, Korean, Chinese and Japanese.

The food is a bit spicy specially the fried rice i ate load of spicy 🌶 and the colour is red and loads chilli flakes so that's why I only ate half of it and I got already little bit runny nose because of the spicy fried rice i ate on Monday with my brother and my niece after we did shopping and i keep drinking water in the bottle and the i only i finished is the soup 🍲 in the small bowl and the service is they give you the timer to get the food

Definitely a great spot for any asian cuisine. Had the jjajangmyeon and beef udon bibim in the korean section which were both very delicious.

Really good food here and lots of choices! You have to top up a little pre pay card which you use at all the restaurants which is a tiny bit of a pain but ok. Especially if you go quite often. Nice and clean.

The noodle soup I had was really similar to the ones I had in Beijing! Friendly staff too. Pretty crowded in the dining hall and you need to prepay onto a card to buy your food but worth it in my opinion.

This is the place to be! Once you get used to their system. The portions are generous! Delicious and tasty!! It's set up on two floors and like a canteen. But, from Sushi to ramen to Korean crispy chicken! It's is a delight. Me and and my friends love coming here. Again and again...

When I came here a year ago I wasn’t too impressed but we tried again and it was amazing. We mostly ate from Shan Seventeen and it was extremely delicious. The noodles are hand stretched on the spot by the chef. The biang biang noodles with beef or veggies are heavenly. The pulled pork Chinese burger was also amazing and very juicy. The pastry is so flaky and delicious. We came here for lunch and came back for dinner after running chores in the city centre. We also tried jjajangmyeon from the Korean stand but it was pretty disappointing. Just go to the first floor and have Shan Seventeen. 😁

There's a wide range of food to choose from which is great, the food is ok so far from the amount of times I've been and tried different dishes each time. I would recommend the pork bone broth hand cut noodles from the first floor it ls one of the best, their korean food is ok just a lack of flavour in their kimchi jiggae. This place is mainly cash only how ever there is an ATM next to the counter and you can withdraw the amount you haven't used in your from the top up card at the end.

Sleepier day than expected. Food was good but think the Vietnamese place had a change in chef. Less fish mint in the banh xeo please! Otherwise kids are enthusiastically. Korean fried chicken remains consistently crispy

Incredible experience every time. Food is delicious, varied and the staff helpful. Service is also very fast and we’ve never had to wait long. Though I was initially sceptical of the card payment system, it has grown on me.

One of the best places to eat in Birmingham. There's a wide selection of restaurants with affordable prices and pretty quick service. The food is always good and filling. Have only tried a few dishes so far but will definitely go back for more.
