The worst Chinese I’ve ever had in my life the fried rice was awful and the chicken was dry NEVER AGAIN

Last time I ordered beef chow mein and the beef was really good so tonight (03/04/25) I decided to have beef curry, unfortunately the beef in the curry, although quite a lot, was full of gristle of which I couldn't eat any of it which spoilt the meal

I prefer to be able to track/see my delivery driver, that is the only complaint I have.

First time ordering really enjoyed highly recommend

Love the battered chicken and prawn balls, just wished they would sell them on their own, don't like sweet & sour sauce

ordered beef chow mein and was awesome really tastey only drawback is I think your delivery driver needs to get a heated box for deliveries as the outer bag was freezing cold which obviously isnt keeping the food hot during delivery

chicken was like rubber and cold. and there was no flavour at all. very disappointed

the hoisin duck was somehow very spicy hot like it had chilli in it and the ribs were hard and dry

Absolutely lovely food. Delivered early. Unfortunately on this occasion one item was missing but very very easy to report it & a refund was given immediately. Hopefully this was a one off mistake. We’re all allowed one mistake after all. Overall very good.

Don't charge 1.90 for pop and forget it. Useless man, waiting ten mins for driver to turn back up...nice one. Spring rolls went cold and food sat there for ten minutes, cheers.

Love their noodles, but they need to change the supplier for their ribs. They are usually misshaped and fatty which is disappointing, but the sauce they are in is lovely.

First time tried this place, food was warm only, which is a real shame as the amount I did manage to eat was really tasty, need to invest in a heated delivery container rather than the loose bag I received..

Delicious food, only Chinese take away we use. Food is always hot and large portions. Delivery driver is a star, very courteous and polite.

Ordered at 7-12 got food at 8.55 had to leave it because it was too late to eat

When the order was placed, the delivery window was an hour later despite preorder the app saying it would be earlier, then, when it reached that time the window was pushed back another 25 mins, then no one turned up, the restaurant kept "user busy" denying phone calls (15 calls denied during the wait time) when eventually got through they said it would be 3 minutes, but in reality it was 26 minutes more until it arrived. Order placed at 19:26, actual arrival 21:36, no communication.

I had duck with plum sauce and wow, duck was cooked to perfection, tender but crispy on the outside, Came with chunks of fruit and the plum sauce was extremely tasty. I very good sized portion as well. Highly recommend.

Nearly two hours since I made the order and my food still hadn’t arrived. Driver called me to say he was outside but I get outside only to be told he had the wrong location. Awful service

Ordered at 6pm. Food finally arrived 1 hour 45 minutes after. Had a message to say it was going to be late. Then it was a further 15 minutes later after that. Not impressed. No text message was returned so I had to ring in the end to find out where it was. Still no message now.

Excellent service when you go to the shop, friendly and helpful staffs. Good fair prices and fresh and tasty food. Online ordering is easy and delivery if quick with well packaged food. I won't eat from any other Chinese.

egg rice is overcooked not fresh very squishy the duck is super dry and was cold can tell everything was put in a microwave not using this place anymore 😑

Came 30 minutes early. One person we had ordered for wasn't even home yet. The Kung Po Chicken was nothing like any I've ever had before and not in a good way. It was exactly the same as the Szechuan Chicken except with a few cashew nuts on top as an after thought. Very disappointed and won't be ordering from here again.

This food is beautiful, 1 of the 2 best places I order Chinese from. The other is kingstanding Chinese they both have their perks this place does loads of soft tender chicken if you order extra meat but kingstanding Chinese has alot more heat to it both are INCREDIBLY morish. For meat I'd say golden boat for heat level id say kingstanding Chinese. There both about the same for quality and taste but I have yet to order my chicken curry extra hot from this place. But I'll never go anywhere else anymore I use to go dragon court but thankfully I found these two lovely little gems I'm gonna be ordering from these a hell of alot gone are the days of burgers, kebabs or even pizzas I'm a Chinese addict now I promise you will not regret ordering from here 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤

Omg, I ordered a takeaway over the phone, asked for certain items, I had to ring them back to say I haven't received a certain item, she then told me that she hasn't charged me for this, I am not being funny but if your customers ask for this meal you should give it to them. Not to tell them you haven't charged them for it. Also the food was over cooked, hard specially prawns wraps . I am not impressed with your staff or So called food. Marks out of 5 -1

Yet another delivery of a first rate meal. The portions are flavoursome and are very generous. The food arrived in the allotted time frame and was still hot. We have had many deliveries from the Golden Boat and will continue we would not hesitate in recommending the take away.

Great food, came early no complaints

I've raved about the golden Boat before and imagine that I will again, but tonight's delivery was disappointing. It tasted as though it had been cooked an hour earlier and poorly reheated. I was initially delighted to see that they'd included an extra pot of sauce with my lemon chicken, something I've asked for before - unfortunately, someone in a hurry had packed curry sauce instead. Not their best night. I'll be back though - I'm sure they can do better.
