Excellent service when you go to the shop, friendly and helpful staffs. Good fair prices and fresh and tasty food. Online ordering is easy and delivery if quick with well packaged food. I won't eat from any other Chinese.

egg rice is overcooked not fresh very squishy the duck is super dry and was cold can tell everything was put in a microwave not using this place anymore 😑

Prawn toast was really gooey inside not nice at all beef rice was too dry, free prawn crackers were rock hard. Wont be ordering from here again.

Came 30 minutes early. One person we had ordered for wasn't even home yet. The Kung Po Chicken was nothing like any I've ever had before and not in a good way. It was exactly the same as the Szechuan Chicken except with a few cashew nuts on top as an after thought. Very disappointed and won't be ordering from here again.

This food is beautiful, 1 of the 2 best places I order Chinese from. The other is kingstanding Chinese they both have their perks this place does loads of soft tender chicken if you order extra meat but kingstanding Chinese has alot more heat to it both are INCREDIBLY morish. For meat I'd say golden boat for heat level id say kingstanding Chinese. There both about the same for quality and taste but I have yet to order my chicken curry extra hot from this place. But I'll never go anywhere else anymore I use to go dragon court but thankfully I found these two lovely little gems I'm gonna be ordering from these a hell of alot gone are the days of burgers, kebabs or even pizzas I'm a Chinese addict now I promise you will not regret ordering from here 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤

Omg, I ordered a takeaway over the phone, asked for certain items, I had to ring them back to say I haven't received a certain item, she then told me that she hasn't charged me for this, I am not being funny but if your customers ask for this meal you should give it to them. Not to tell them you haven't charged them for it. Also the food was over cooked, hard specially prawns wraps . I am not impressed with your staff or So called food. Marks out of 5 -1

Yet another delivery of a first rate meal. The portions are flavoursome and are very generous. The food arrived in the allotted time frame and was still hot. We have had many deliveries from the Golden Boat and will continue we would not hesitate in recommending the take away.

Great food, came early no complaints

I've raved about the golden Boat before and imagine that I will again, but tonight's delivery was disappointing. It tasted as though it had been cooked an hour earlier and poorly reheated. I was initially delighted to see that they'd included an extra pot of sauce with my lemon chicken, something I've asked for before - unfortunately, someone in a hurry had packed curry sauce instead. Not their best night. I'll be back though - I'm sure they can do better.

Added green chillies to my meal that shouldn't have contained them. Ordered duck in hoi sin which I've had hundreds of times, many of which were from here. Hoi sin does not contain chillies and even their menu describes it as "a traditional lightly sweet sauce." Took one bite and thought something was off, second mouthful had me running for the bathroom as green chillies/any spicy food really sets off my IBS which I why I don't order it. Haven't complained because it's not about the money, nothing they say can make me trust them enough to order from here ever again. Shame because we've ordered from here tonnes of times and until now it's always been great. Don't add random ingredients to people's meals! Have photos of the meal with visible slices of chillies in it. What if I'd been allergic? As it is I have a day of stomach ache ahead of me.

Not had a takeaway from here for sometime enjoyed and will be back again soon 😀

Usual really nice food last few times not up to standard order young chow fried rice look like boil rice mixed up with bit of meat in it could just about see 3 prawn in dish hardly no chicken any meat in it not cooked well at all waste of money I usually have good food from here very disappointing gonna have to do better golden boat...

I use this place all the time, but tonight was absolutely disgusting. The egg fried rice was so over done it was inedible, I asked for the chicken chow mein to have no veg and it come with veg in it. The chicken in the curry was slimy in texture and I asked for it to be slightly spicy but it came with loads of chillis in it. The chips that cost almost £5 were just vile. Soggy with a small amount on veg in a tray that are mean to be salt n chilli they were not that! Not ordering again

Food quality not so great but also not bad. Kinda salty tho. Wontones came crushed/broken, hard to tell if it was sent like that or damaged during delivery.

Don't order the duck with plum sauce unless you want to go hungry. All you get is pineapple with plum sauce. Also ordered chicken and sweetcorn soup and got crab sticks with sweetcorn soup. Won't be using this place again. What if I or someone else had a shellfish allergy

Large portions. Curry more spiced than expected. Ordered one portion of chicken rice which was more than enough shared by three and saved some dishes for tomorrow. Good value for money and delivered fast. Well done

The quality of food varies each time I order from them. Usually, the fried noodles are light and delicious, but not so last night. They were dark and the oil left an unpleasant aftertaste. The spare ribs were not overcooked, but the sauce had spilt out of the container, so there wasn't any to pour over the ribs.

We have used this place for a good few years now. Can’t fault any food from them.

Ordered chicken balls with rice in tray. Problem was they left paper in the bottom of the tray which fell apart in to the food.

Had takeaway don't normally go here and I won't be again. So disappoint food was 50 minutes only live down rd thought it would be nice and fresh but no chips old, chicken and prawn balls was tasteless and over done. Egg fried rice stoggy and tasteless, fried noodles vile the list goes on. This place is not the cheapest and the food beyond awful. Please save your money and go somewhere else food got wasted and good money wasted. 🤮🤮

We have had many uber eats deliveries from the Golden Boat take away, this evening our meal arrived 10 minutes before the earliest estimate and was completely upto the excellent standard we have become acostomed to. Very good portion sizes and exceptional flavours. Thanks very much, we have no hesitation in recommending the Golden Boat for an excellent meal.

Food arrived super quick and tasty - would recommend! Especially if you like beansprouts (be warned the large spring roll is just beansprouts!)
