1st time using this Chinese and the last I did not enjoy non of my meal the food had no flavour was very bland for £40 aswell but the people in there are nice

This shop has new owners The food here is absoluely delicious !!! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavour and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend Sweet and Sour Chicken Cantonese style, Beef in Black Bean sauce and Chicken Chow Mein. Hands down some of the best food Ive had recently !!

Hands down the best Chinese food I’ve ate !!! I am a big foodie and I have eaten Chinese food in China itself . But the taste and variety of food available here are crazy good . I love my spicy food and told them to make the changes I wanted in my food and they did exactly that . I also ordered delivery the next day and it was still splendid . By far the best best food I’ve tasted . ADDICTIVE . !!

Wow wow wow I haven't ordered from here for a while but decided to give them another chance. The food was absolutely amazing. I called the Chinese restaurant to compliment the chef and asked if he was new. They told me the shop was under new management. Each spoonful tasted heavenly. Worth every penny. Thank you New Cook King Chinese.

Not so good tonight,runny chicken curry soft prawn crackers small spring rolls that you can get at Iceland for a pound yuk Will be going back to my regular takeaway in future!!!

Always did use this chinese but then I stopped using it and decided to give it another go again tonight what a mistake.that was.... ordered a box b chips where hard and cold. Need chow me in wasn't great either and spare runs where dry and you always forgot my curry sauce even tho I collected it

Cook King has been around for awhile and wasn't amongst the best of the local takeaways. Taste was so-so, often cold on delivery etc. We'd normally not use them even though they are almost on the doorstep. But the current owners have been in place for some time and credit where it is due. It is much, much better now. The Food is nice and service has improved We don't use them everytime as other places have meals on the menu that aren't available. But we do like Cook King and would recommend them.

Have had many tasty meals from here.Always a lovely greeting from the staff who will accommodate any changes to your needs if they can.Good size portions of flavoursome meals.One of the best in the area, having tried the rest seem to always go back to Cook King.

It could be better presented and food portions not as big as other places but food did give me a bad stomach next day

Great Food Friendly Staff and offer Home Delivery

We started using Cook King via just eat then carried on using them directly. Their food is delicious and their service is brilliant. They deliver very quickly, with free goodies such as chicken wings or spring rolls. Tonight they forgot my fried rice and when I called them they delivered it within minutes. I can't fault them. We have ribs as a starter and whenever we get them from here they have a lot of meat on them, other competitors I have found they're just bones. Well done Cook King.

Not edible the food was totally disgusting, I ordered wonton soup which was a congealed jelly-like brown substance with a few wontons stuck in. The main dish (supposedly) Singapore noodles had 7 whole chillies to disguise the lack of anything else but curry powder-coated spaghetti and scraps. Shame on you Cook King (not even cook servant) is fitting of the slop you serve, my order went straight in the bin...the only place for it... YUK YUK & YUK!!!! never again

Should be no stars this place needs shutting down my friends daughter got food poisoning from this place and spent days at home and in hospital very ill. Avoid like the plague!!!!

Your chicken balls are more pastry than chicken and really dry and your curry sauce is to weak

Este solía ser nuestro chino regular y la comida siempre fue buena, pero recientemente ha ido cuesta abajo. Pedí pollo al limón que solía venir en una salsa espesa y amarilla, pero esta vez venía con la salsa en una olla pálida, acuosa y con un desagradable tarrón. El arroz frito Yung Chow también era bastante insípido. Realmente decepcionado y buscaré una nueva comida china para llevar.

Food was alright, service not so. Woman was outside smoking before she reluctantly came in to take our oder.

Pido semanalmente a ellos, pero en algún momento a través de la aplicación justeat dice que está cerrado pero ¿no? ! Ordené a otro por facilidad a través de JustEat pero no tan bueno. . . en algún momento, el delv puede llegar tarde en el lado negativo, pero vale la pena esperar.

Used to order from here all the time was great food and great price dunno what's happened in last few months but my husband has been sick literally after eating this food on two occasions and about 2 minutes ago I introduced my toilet to battered chicken balls chips and curry sauce. We put the first couple of sickness down to llness but I'm not ill it was definately the chicken cause even whilst eating it the texture tasted funny and I knew I'd be seeing it again later.

I ordered chicken fried rice and got rice with a brown colour and strips of chicken breast. No vegetables no nothing in it. My sis got BBQ wings and fries. The wings were not thoroughly cooked and the BBQ sauce was no where close to tasting like BBQ!... Very very disappointed.

Ordered spring rolls spare ribs bbq sauce told me 45 mins so get things sorted and 10 mins later door knocks my meal is delivered not been funny but spring rolls take 20 mins at home so to me it's been warmed up in a microwave

Ahora hemos estado utilizando para cocinar King un año aproximadamente constantemente.Esto es porque la comida es tan buena como las fotos del sitio web sugerir y sabe aún mejor. El personal es amable y la comida llega caliente y rápido. Luego, por último pero no menos importante. . Su establecimiento es extremadamente. limpio. The majority of the food is delicious and I've eaten from cook king many times however lately the quality of the chips has gone downhill, I think they need to look at trying another brand. Overall I will be ordering again without a doubt.

Food arrived on time and was hot. Unfortunately there was a mistake with the order- battered prawn, rather than battered mixed prawn and chicken. The food was tasty (particularly the prawn toast) and represented value for money (decent amount of meat in the Cantonese sweet and sour chicken) but not anything special.

Curry was very nice but would prefer a bit more of a spice to it

Food was great as always, best chinese food in the area. However, we had to wait an hour and a half for delivery and £2.20 diet coke was charged but not delivered. We use these guys very regularly and this is the first problem we've had so i would still recommend them highly.

Been trying out a few places since I moved to the area and have to say I think cook king will definitely be my new go to. Yuk sung was amazing!!!

Forgot my Fortune Cookies and my Coke, had the mixed meat and forgot to add the King Prawns to it. 20 minutes late. Food was great when it got there, but the fact they've forgotten half my order I am not pleased with.
