We're so happy to have found this lovely cafe, on the edge of spectacular gardens with fabulous views. Marvellous to have somewhere local with such good food, ethos, and surroundings. The proprietors and staff are super-friendly, and make a wonderful team: Toby's curries and Stephanie's cakes are exceptional. We'll certainly be back!

Came here with a colleague from work on our lunch break and was thrilled to find such a cosy cafe serving delicious food right on Mold high street! Couldn’t ask for more pleasant atmosphere, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating and the food was piping hot and cooked to order. Will definitely be coming again.

Fabulous tea rooms in a unique location with beautiful views of the railway and the River Dee. The afternoon tea was delicious! We came yesterday for our Mum’s birthday and unfortunately she became unwell during our time at the tea rooms. The staff were lovely-so helpful, kind and couldn’t do enough for us, which we really appreciated during a stressful time. Would highly recommend and will definitely visit again. Thank you again for all your help and kindness.

Tasty food, very child friendly and a nice shady courtyard. The menu is a bit different with some nice options for adults but also plenty of choice for kids meals (eg sausage, chicken nuggets etc). The staff couldn’t have been nicer, would definitely recommend.

Pre dinner drinks on balcony overlooking open golf course and countryside with the Menai Straits in the background are ultra relaxing. The Service is excellent and the choice and quality of food are to a high standard.

Thursday 31st August 2023, my husband and I went back to the ‘The Welsh Highland Railway Tea Room’ in Porthmadog for the Malcolm Green's funeral wake and to celebrate Malcolm’s life. This was a very fitting tribute as Malcolm and his wife Non used to run the tearoom, sadly both now deceased. There was a nice buffet and we all sat and we spent time talking to friends and relatives and lots of love and memories were shared by all those who knew and loved ‘Malcolm’.

Called in here for a pork and stuffing roll and had the most scrumptious experience. Unfortunately they had run out of pork (as it was near to closing) so they asked if I would like beef instead, I went for that with my wife having a lemon meringue and drinks. The young girl serving was most pleasant and could not do enough to make our sit in pleasant. The drama started there for me as I managed to leave my bag in there with a fair amount of cash and all the hotel keys from where we were staying. I did not realise this until well after closing. We returned to the shop to find it shut up and thought it was going to be one of those days. We rang the number on the door that was for deliveries only which to us was a bit of a long shot, but low and behold ten minutes later I had a reply from the guy there who told me indeed I had left my bag there and he had put it safe for me. I was thinking that I would return to the shop the next day but the chap said don't worry I will come back in five minutes and he was as good as his word turning up on his motorcycle, opening up and giving me the bag. I found this to be incredibly honest especially in this day and age and my faith in kindness and honesty somewhat restored. Thank you once again to the staff, and coupled with a lovely meal I would recommend this establishment to anyone.

The Bakehouse sells baked goods in the shop area but has a couple of tables outside and a small café at the back. We tried their baps which were excellent and very reasonable considering that they were very large.

I visited the 'Head chef' today for the first time . I had a medium breakfast. It was absolutely delicious. The staff are very nice, and so was the setting. I Live locally and hope to visit this place many times in the future. By far the best in Shotton.

as I walked past this place so many times & I'd never been in until now. We had a lovely bit of breakfast here, as well as the toast .... you get fried bread too, what a treat that was. Oh & a cuppa with the breakfast at no extra cost either. It was a good price & much cheaper than anywhere else, & there was just the right amount of food, not too much, not too little. Shame it's selling now I've just discovered it after many years of both living & visiting Tywyn.

This pub is very much a work in progress, recently taken over by Rob, a local guy. A friendly welcome awaits you here, where you can watch the football and enjoy a range of beers and lagers. As a regular visitor to Amlwch its a great place to relax and unwind after a day's fishing or walking.

Visited with another family for Sunday lunch - we were staying at a campsite up the valley. This is a “proper” British pub - lovely old building, welcoming atmosphere, decent ales, and hearty, well cooked food. With three 13 year olds in tow, we asked whether the kids portions would be suitable - they definitely were. Will be coming back.
