West Shore Beach Cafe in Conwy

If you have a dog there are seats outside but if it's windy don't loose your hat. Food and drinks are lovely.

One of my favourite places to come to in Llandudno. Had my first bacon bap today and it was 👌 sitting outside looking at the view. Need to come back for a cake as they all look amazing 🤩

Tucked away on the West shore, a little gem of a café.

Dog friendly cafe on the sea front. Couple of toilets outside downstairs. They will cater for food needs such as gluten free.

Always a warm welcome and good food.

Sausage bap, portion of chips followed by a cup of tea, what a lovely lunch with excellent views. Very friendly people as well. Our go to cafe whenever we visit Llandudno.

This is a lovely cafe definitely worth a visit. Food was absolutely delicious and well presented. Freshly cooked and prepared also a realy varied menu, something for everyone and homemade cakes. Staff were helpful and friendly. Also we'll priced Also dog friendly, water bowls provided. Will definitely visit again.

The cafe has a lovely position overlooking the bay. There is building work in progress just to the left which spoils the view at the moment . According to one of the locals, it's a new pumping station. It was quite late in the afternoon when we arrived so we only ordered coffee, although the cream teas on some other tables looked delicious. They stop serving at 4.30 and close at 5pm. It's a lovely little spot to relax and look at the scenery.

Food was nice but the staff let it down. I came here with my family for the day as we were on holiday. This cafe has no toilets, no baby changing facilities, so we had to leave 3 times to accommodate this. The first two times we left and came back was because we were changing our baby, the last time was because I, myself needed the toilet. When I came back in, one of the young girls behind the counter saw me, turned her back on me and said to her two colleagues ‘God, she’s been in and out like 3 times already’. The two colleagues knew I had heard this and smiled at me trying to distract me from the comment. If this cafe had baby changing facilities and toilets then we wouldn’t have had to leave and keep coming back! I questioned this young girl and asked her ‘what did you say?’ To which she went all red faced, panicked and said ‘what, nothing’. I questioned her again and said ‘did you just say we keep coming back in?’ Again, she laughed it off and said ‘what, no sorry’. I then went and sat down and one of her colleagues came over to try and lie their way out of it by saying ‘no we were talking about what we were having for lunch’, which I just completely ignored. We spent alot of money in this cafe as we were a family of 9, and the whole service was just rude. Being a mother of a newborn baby you do not need comments like this. I will not be coming back and I hope she sees this comment.

I’ve been here a few times over the years with my mum. They are not the most friendly and welcoming. There is no table service,no toilets in the cafe and the mediocre food is over priced. They are in a good location as that is why it gets busy sometimes.

Beach is nice but, parking is electronic, card only, didn't stay

The food is here is really excellent and far better than you'd expect for a beach cafe. We were lucky to get a window table and of course the view is great. Service was friendly and quite fast considering how busy they were. It was a shame it was so windy, otherwise we'd have sat at an outside table in the sun. Lots of dogs outside though with their families enjoying the sea air. Love the webcam too and managed to get a screenshot of ourselves on it in the car park. We'll most definitely be back 😊

This cafe serves amazing food! And the little ice cream hut outside! We were quite a large party and all our food came together, was hot and delicious! The cafe is wheelchair accessible but can get quite noisy!

Can't comment on atmosphere as we sat outside but food , service and friendliness was great. I haven't been there for a while as I found previous owners unpleasant and rude. Looks lovely and cosy inside with nice partitions. Vegan and gluten free friendly now as well. Can I respectfully suggest little wooden shelters for outside being as you're right on the beach? Might help save rubbish from going everywhere and stop the seagulls from stealing ?

Got recommended to visit West Shore Beach whilst in Llandudno. The beach wasn’t anything special, however, there’s a free carpark and the cafe is pretty good food and conveniently located right next to the beach with toilets.

Was ignored by several members of staff while they they chatted with each other eventualy ordered tea for 2 costing £5 got i small pot with 1 tea bag and small pot water was so weak wont come again wonder what u get if tea for 1

Lovely café sold a wide variety of cooked and sweet food, bottled beers and wine and hot and cold beverages plenty of room inside and out the public facilities are one shared toilet 🚻 that's the only down side

Brilliant hot chocolate, just what we needed to warm up on a chilly day. It was very busy, with a long queue, and service seemed rather slow, because we had finished our hot chocolate before we got the crab rolls we ordered

Great location right on the beach, friendly staff and good food

As we didn’t make it here on our last trip, we made it a priority, the full Monty hot chocolate was good, but the wait for the crab rolls was extremely long, in my opinion they were overpriced

We stopped by this lovely cafe, had a fab four smoothie, coffee and icecreams. The treats on offer were lovely. The staff were nice. Thank you.

Great little cafe overlooking the beach!

I really like it here. It's a cosy venue, which does have the potential to be a bit cramped when it's busy, and there are a few outside tables. There are menus on the walls, and you queue up at the counter to place your order. It was very clean, and the staff were lovely. We only wanted coffee and cake, and as we were quite late in the day, there wasn't much of a choice. The cake we did have was a good sized portion, and had a great flavour, but was ever so slightly dry and had obviously been sat for a while. That said, I still ate it, so it couldn't have been that bad! The coffee was lovely. We have earmarked this place for a return visit sooner rather than later, as there were quite a few things on the menu that my partner wants to try, and the meals did look good. I think this is the type of place where you have to pick what time to go, as the peak times are likely to be very busy. That said, I'm happy to recommend it.

I popped into the Cafe as I'd walked along the road up to the Orme and came back down along the beach and saw the Cafe. I had a Homemade scone, jam & clotted cream. To say it was yummy was an understatement 🥰 It was awesome and to prove it check out my pic . I'd recommend it if you're visiting West Shore Beach ⛱️.

An absolute gem if you are in Llandudno. We found the cafe by mistake as initially we went to go to the Ormes Bay side but struggled for parking. The cafe is right by Llandudno West Shore Beach which is a nice quiet beach with a lot of dog walkers. This place would be great in the summer and would imagine it gets very busy here. The food is fantastic, reasonably priced and the staff were very friendly. The atmosphere was also good and I would definitely go back if in the area again. Top find 👍

40 minute wait for a sandwich, got the coffees straight away so they weren't together Asked the man to fill our water bottles were told to go to the toilet and fill them. Avoid the place

Arrived after 4pm but was still able to buy a lovely ice cream in a waffle cone. Delicious. Also soft drinks are available until they close. Very friendly staff.and lovely place to sit in the sun and watch the sea and sun.

You could be anywhere in the world sitting outside on a sunny day with beautiful views. The only thing that lets the breakfast down is the quality of sausage. I expect so much more for the price I am paying.

I love this cafe, cosy, wonderful views, and kind, caring staff. Great coffee, excellent choices for lunch, and breakfast. A customer reward card for drinks and gorgeous home made cakes to go with them.

Lovely frendly cafe great location good cake

Our group of 7 visited on 30th March for a bite to eat. The cafe was busy, which is a good sign, and it smelt nice upon entering. The menu was plentiful, and the cake choice was superb. The food was cooked to order and served on hot plates. Nothing bad to say about this lovely cafe, we will definitely be back.

We were on vacation in late February and this cafe was wonderful. Outstanding staff. Brilliant service. Great quality food and terrific atmosphere. No matter the pressures, the staff are personable, immensely resilient, patient, kind and good humoured. All underpinned with service excellence. Ali and team have raised the bar in delivering quality food with high level of professionalism and with a charming friendliness. The cafe MADE our vacation a memorable one. The chefs catered wonderfully with my dietary requirements - gluten and dairy intolerance and don’t eat meat. We were thrilled with the Welsh cakes on the morning we were leaving. We have booked for next February and we look forward to seeing the fabulous team again. You are definitely a 5 star cafe. Thank you for your kindness, great food and brilliant service.

Busy place on a Wednesday afternoon. Enjoyed tea and toasted tea cakes from a wide and varied menu. Staff friendly and efficient.

Good quality freshly cooked food served with a smile. Efficient table cleaning and dining area keep clean and tidy. Jacket potato with cheese and beans was served nice and hot as was quiche and chips from the daily specials board.

Not a dog friendly cafe. Had a lovely walk along the beach on a cold February morning, arrived at the cafe for lovely hot chocolate and a cake but really disappointed that we were told to eat outside, as there isn't a dog area inside. Most places we go to eat allow well behaved dogs nowadays, I think this cafe would benefit by doing this as well, we won't be going back unfortunately.

If you are considering visiting here then stop! Just do it! It's the best seaside cafe we've ever been to. Fantastic freshly cooked food, friendly people, great service, clean and an all round credit to the owners. An absolute gem.

Been coming here for a few years now, this is truly an excellent café. Never had a negative experience. Great home cooked style food, beautiful location, excellent latte. I recommend this café to anyone who wants a great meal in a pleasant location

Had home made steak pie with chips and peas and gravy. Served on piping hot plates which always gets a thumbs up from us. Could not find fault.

Excellent cafe-we had lunch here at the weekend-really good freshly made food (would highly recommend the Christmas special toasties), great service and good value too. Lovely views of the coast too!

Great little place, really friendly staff, great atmosphere. I didn't eat, even though the menu looked great, with freshly cooked meals on offer. It was a quick stop, for hot chocolate and a slice of one of the delicious homemade cakes after a walk along the beach. Seating outside if you, like me, are a dog owner, but it was lovely and toasty inside. Rather busy, which for me is a good sign, as it seemed to be a place the regulars went.

Stopped for a coffe after a walk along West Shore. Nice little cafe with a good range of food, hot and cold beverages. Seagulls are a pain though if you sit outside.

Visit every time we're in llandudno. Our last visit was on Sunday, the 10th of September, we were lucky enough to see dolphins 🐬 as we were having brunch 😀

Despite it saying open till 5pm on here, it isn't. Stars given on August 22

Took my Dad here for lunch last week, the views across the bay were beautiful, the staff were very friendly and the cod in batter was the best I'd had in quite a while.

Good food but order was mistaken and we received something different. When I went to sent it back unfortunately I've seen the cook reaction. He was extremely nervous, swearing a lot. I'd say if you can't keep calm you clearly don't suit gastronomy. Won't be back as I don't like nervous people around me.

Great little cafe near West beach near Deganwy. Been visiting for years but finding service now is slow . Ensure you have plenty of time on your parking ticket.

Located on the less busy side of the Great Orme.

No dogs inside... definitely not dog friendly... We ordered the crab brioche for lunch at £10.50 a pop. It came in a paper box with a very small salad in.. fairly tasty and probably the best part of the meal. The brioche bun was too sweet and the crab content was plain gloop. I'm guessing tinned crab. One piece of lettuce in the bun. Completely tasteless, no seasoning and massively over priced. My green tea was lovely.
