Lovely frendly cafe great location good cake

Our group of 7 visited on 30th March for a bite to eat. The cafe was busy, which is a good sign, and it smelt nice upon entering. The menu was plentiful, and the cake choice was superb. The food was cooked to order and served on hot plates. Nothing bad to say about this lovely cafe, we will definitely be back.

We were on vacation in late February and this cafe was wonderful. Outstanding staff. Brilliant service. Great quality food and terrific atmosphere. No matter the pressures, the staff are personable, immensely resilient, patient, kind and good humoured. All underpinned with service excellence. Ali and team have raised the bar in delivering quality food with high level of professionalism and with a charming friendliness. The cafe MADE our vacation a memorable one. The chefs catered wonderfully with my dietary requirements - gluten and dairy intolerance and don’t eat meat. We were thrilled with the Welsh cakes on the morning we were leaving. We have booked for next February and we look forward to seeing the fabulous team again. You are definitely a 5 star cafe. Thank you for your kindness, great food and brilliant service.

Busy place on a Wednesday afternoon. Enjoyed tea and toasted tea cakes from a wide and varied menu. Staff friendly and efficient.

Excellent breakfast. Quick service and reasonable prices. Visited and few times and will definitely be back.

Great beach side cafe with wonderful views of the coast and beyond.

Good quality freshly cooked food served with a smile. Efficient table cleaning and dining area keep clean and tidy. Jacket potato with cheese and beans was served nice and hot as was quiche and chips from the daily specials board.

Came across this little gem of a cafe by accident. Lovely homemade cakes and hot tea and coffee. Will definitely try and find them again. Staff very friendly.

Not a dog friendly cafe. Had a lovely walk along the beach on a cold February morning, arrived at the cafe for lovely hot chocolate and a cake but really disappointed that we were told to eat outside, as there isn't a dog area inside. Most places we go to eat allow well behaved dogs nowadays, I think this cafe would benefit by doing this as well, we won't be going back unfortunately.

Several vegan options, lots for veggies. Friendly, helpful staff. Pricing is very reasonable.

If you are considering visiting here then stop! Just do it! It's the best seaside cafe we've ever been to. Fantastic freshly cooked food, friendly people, great service, clean and an all round credit to the owners. An absolute gem.

Such slow service and an entrance door I could barely fit through... BUT by and far one of the best coffees I've ever tasted

Been coming here for a few years now, this is truly an excellent café. Never had a negative experience. Great home cooked style food, beautiful location, excellent latte. I recommend this café to anyone who wants a great meal in a pleasant location

Had home made steak pie with chips and peas and gravy. Served on piping hot plates which always gets a thumbs up from us. Could not find fault.

Brilliant breakfast here. Generous portion and reasonably priced. Great service too. Definitely worth a visit. Must return for the amazing looking cakes!!

Excellent cafe-we had lunch here at the weekend-really good freshly made food (would highly recommend the Christmas special toasties), great service and good value too. Lovely views of the coast too!

Great little place, really friendly staff, great atmosphere. I didn't eat, even though the menu looked great, with freshly cooked meals on offer. It was a quick stop, for hot chocolate and a slice of one of the delicious homemade cakes after a walk along the beach. Seating outside if you, like me, are a dog owner, but it was lovely and toasty inside. Rather busy, which for me is a good sign, as it seemed to be a place the regulars went.

Stopped for a coffe after a walk along West Shore. Nice little cafe with a good range of food, hot and cold beverages. Seagulls are a pain though if you sit outside.

Advertised as dog friendly, but dogs not allowed inside. We didn't stay as it was raining so outside eating wasn't an option.

Visit every time we're in llandudno. Our last visit was on Sunday, the 10th of September, we were lucky enough to see dolphins 🐬 as we were having brunch 😀

Despite it saying open till 5pm on here, it isn't. Stars given on August 22

Good food but order was mistaken and we received something different. When I went to sent it back unfortunately I've seen the cook reaction. He was extremely nervous, swearing a lot. I'd say if you can't keep calm you clearly don't suit gastronomy. Won't be back as I don't like nervous people around me.

Took my Dad here for lunch last week, the views across the bay were beautiful, the staff were very friendly and the cod in batter was the best I'd had in quite a while.

Good food. Quick service. Sat outside looking over the beach. Delicious ice creams including the one for our dog

Great little cafe near West beach near Deganwy. Been visiting for years but finding service now is slow . Ensure you have plenty of time on your parking ticket.

Located on the less busy side of the Great Orme.

No dogs inside... definitely not dog friendly... We ordered the crab brioche for lunch at £10.50 a pop. It came in a paper box with a very small salad in.. fairly tasty and probably the best part of the meal. The brioche bun was too sweet and the crab content was plain gloop. I'm guessing tinned crab. One piece of lettuce in the bun. Completely tasteless, no seasoning and massively over priced. My green tea was lovely.

Excellent little cafe! Great staff great food with a beautiful view 👌🏾chef went out of her way to do us all fish and chips without beer in the batter👌🏾also met a lovely cute old couple who live locally and had a nice little natter with them... Definitely will visit again👍🏾

Visit here most Sunday mornings for coffee and a sausage/bacon bap...staff are very friendly, food is good as is the coffee... always feel safe in there and the view is amazing, oh and the homemade cakes are well worth a try!

Live local and enjoy a coffee/cake/light bite after a walk on west shore. Lucky to have such a place and appreciate their efforts during these weird times.

Poorly prepared for COVID-19, queue layout is good but you need that as you queue for a very long time as the sole person taking your order then also makes any hot drinks. We had avocados on toast and a small breakfast to eat, both were tasteless, they say the sausage in the breakfast is from Edwards of Conwy, we thought flavour, texture and appearance matched cheap mass produced brands. Great location but that’s it.

Angry staff scathing at old customers who were trying to pay with cash, leaving elderly customers struggling to walk standing outside in the interests of ‘social distancing’ which itself was not being followed by the staff members in question. You are not the COVID gestapo.

Been eating here for years. Always happy with the service. Always friendly faces. Never a long wait. Nice music.

We'd driven past many places on the lookout for breakfast on our way to Llandudno for a short break. In the end we decided to wait until we arrived. Good decision. We found the cafe just as it was lunchtime. The social distancing measures are really good. My missus is quite vulnerable and we felt safe. The service is great and the good is very tasty and well cooked. We both had the posh fish finger sandwich and weren't disappointed with the portion size either

Visited for breakfast and the food was very nice. Good Covid precautions which is quite difficult in such a small place.Only niggle is the toilets are underneath and to the side of the building and accessible via an outside path.

We visited twice as the cream scones were so nice. Staff very friendly and engaged with the kids too. A little pricey but this isn't something solely noted at this cafe, ice cream seems quite expensive these days! We really enjoyed our visits

I live locally and have been in many times usually for drinks so this time decided to try the fish finger butty with chips and salad !So disappointed when it came, four pieces of batter ( sorry I can’t bring myself to say the word fish ) on two slices of bread, I bit into it and all I could taste was batter and that was the same all through the sandwich, the chips were quite dry and I left most of them but there was a very small portion of salad and I have to say the nicest thing on the plate was the salad dressing, really nice ! So disappointed I was after reading the reviews. It’s not cheap in here and I left not too happy but the place was quite full and I didn’t want to embarrass anyone !

Now open after lock down, and all eating is outside.The staff have made one way systems both inside and outside to avoid overcrowding and close contact. Everything is cleaned thoroughly after each table leaves and before the next one sits down. Everything is served in takeaway containers, not for ease of staff but to keep everything safe [the containers were not cheap ones] the prices were very reasonable, the coffee, sandwiches and homemade cakes are exceptional. We loved the place, we felt like they had done all they could to keep everyone as safe as possible and still gave great value for money and delicious food. The staff are friendly and polite and you got the impression that they were really glad to be back at work and welcoming all their guests. Well done, we will be back.

Visited Llandudno loads of times and never ventured to this end of town as not a lot to encourage you to visit, except this little gem. Had chilli nachos and wife had lamb hotpot, ( hey we are from Lancashire so know what a hotpot should be like)Food very good and hot, not a huge menu but plenty of choice for everyone. Very reasonable prices and views other establishments would kill for, right on the shore with views over to Anglesey. Must visit if you want decent food in landudno away from centre of town.

Visited the cafe at the weekend. We had to battle the absolute gale force winds to get inside but it was well worth it. The staff are so, so lovely. The coffee is perfect and the waffle with toffee sauce and ice cream is the BEST waffle I have ever tasted. Absolutely amazing. Thank you so much for a lovely experience - we will be back!

We phoned in advance to see if they would be able to accommodate a group of eight, the lady said it wasn’t guaranteed as it depends on space when we arrive, we took our chances and the lady remembered our call and set the tables for us to sit together.I required dairy free milk and gluten free bread, all dietary needs were accommodated with a smile and without fuss. Brilliant friendly service, lovely food, great location x

One could immediately see this cafe's appeal as somewhere to have a snack or meal as part of a visit to West Shore although there aren't many other options. In addition to good food, it benefits from a decent coastal view. We're unclear if it's open year-round but are sure that we've seen it very busy at peak times in peak season. We're likely to return when we next walk along the estuary.

The West Shore Cafe is a great place to eat either a snack or something more substantial and all served whilst you enjoy the views over to Penmaen Mawr or along the beach to the Great Orme

The setting and ambiance of this one and only beach cafe on the West Shore is really nice. The staff are pleasant, however the food is quite average and nothing special. The Rarebit my partner had was very bland. When mentioning it to a friend later they said exactly the same, and that their rarebit topping when they visited was bland and tasteless too.

Stopped at this small café when walking between Llandudno and Conwy. Great tasting food, good childrens options (good quality for the kids too). Came for the cakes but stayed for lunch.

We parked in the car park at the far end of the West Shore to enjoy the stroll down to the cafe. We had tea and lovely homemade cake. It was very busy although it was after lunch, the lunch options looked good, we will try lunch next time. There are some souvenirs for sale though we didn’t really get a chance to have a look at them. The staff were efficient and friendly and there is a big car park just outside. Dogs aren’t allowed inside as there just isn’t the space for them but they’re welcome in the large outside seating area where the staff will come out to take your order. It would be a lovely place to sit on a warm day or if you were wrapped up as the views are worth it. We will definitely return.

Went to the cafe on a cold wet blustery day and wanted a nice breakfast.Although the day was dismal there were still plenty of die hards on the front... parking is payable on front of cafe but 100 yards to the right the prom has plenty of free parking.The cafe is just that. A proper little on right on the beach. Largish sitting area out front to enjoy great sunny days.We ordered two breakfasts which we thoroughly enjoyed. Food nice and hot and good service... it didnt take long.Bacon and sausage really nice...Its an excellent little place to stop if your ever down the west shore end of Llandudno...We look forward to calling in again.I believe it shuts for winter on the 1st Dec.Hope this has been helpful

Although the season is slowing down, this was a great place to stop for lunch. Staff very attentive and helpful. Food was good, cakes especially !

Spending a day in Llandudno jumped on the land train to visit West Beach & after waking the beach came upon this place.

Lovely food outstanding view inside and out brillient staff the cafe us goibgvto ve renewed andce tended in the future it's on the beach and open 7 days a week in summer there are outside seating area with umbrellas with a visit befor it is upgraded then you cant see the diff but its briluend as it is and will be more do in the future dogs are aloud and you can swim then go for a drink or food or just an ice cream its quite near the gt orm lits to see around

As we live abroad we only come here once a year. Very enjoyable! Good food, fantastic views and pleasant staff. However, this time the seagulls gave us a hard time. Still, they are the residents and we are the visitors. See you again!

I walk my dog nearly everyday past this cafe and have never been in till today. My wife and I thought we would stop off for a coffee and cake. Properly the best coffee cake I have ever had and it went down nicely with a mug of coffee (which could be hotter) staff were lovely and friendly. Definitely be coming back regularly

Excellent choice of food including many vegetarian options. Home made iced teas were extra special. Food presentation and service excellent.

Visited with my partner for coffe and cakes. We have tried to come to the cafe before whilst visiting Llandudno but the cafe tends to get quite busy and we could not get a table on that occasion. However, this time we were lucky and got a table for two, The coffee was good and my scone with jam and clotted cream was vert tasty. My partner had a slice of lemon sponge cake which looked delicious. There is a good selection of drinks, meals, snacks and cakes available.

Visited from the beach to escape the rain. Good selection of food - we went for coffees and cakes - all good if a little overpriced. Spent £30 between us - all fine. However, asked if we could bring dogs in to be met with s puzzled face as if to say ‘what a stupid question’. Quite understand why dogs may not be allowed but an explanation or ‘sorry’ would be nicer. We put the table umbrella up but we’re told in a fairly offhand way to put it down. Again- fully understand that health and safety may be the issue here - but again, no apology or explanation.

Poor customer service! Looked at me in disgust when I asked if dogs are allowed inside as it was raining. We decided to sit outside and utilised the table umbrella to them be told we can’t use the umbrella resulting in us having to sit in the rain after spending £30+ with them on overpriced drinks and cakes.

Having walked along the coastal path from Conwy we were ready for lunch and the first person we met and asked for a recommendation pointed us in the direction of this very popular beach front cafe.

Called in for tea and cake. Tea was lovely as was my scone. Partner had flapjack- not nice- you could feel grains of sugar grating on your teeth! Slow service again- it was the same last time we visted but thought that may be a one-off but unfortunately not.

Visited for lunch, I ordered the beef mince and onion pie which was lovely. My wife had the Cheddar cheese, Spinach and mushroom quiche which was very thin with no a lot of filling it was also very well done.

Beautiful day, stroll on the beach then lovely lunch in the Beach Cafe. Food fab, cakes delicious and home made. Was busy so quite a long time to take the order at the till but well worth the wait.

Food was lovely. Shame about the arrogant server. Sorry some of us customers are such an inconvenience lovie. The attitude to customer service very poor. Someone else in the queue asking about gluten free and she was mildly helpful with them too. People are spending their hard earned cash there and should be given a bit of respect.

I had a wonderful and pleasant experience. Amazing food, service and sea view. Especially from a young girl named Hannah, was very efficient and ensured we had a good experience and was enjoying our food. A beautiful place to visit and would highly recommend.

We hadn't visited the Beach Café for a few years, and decided as we were in West Shore we would. Once again, we were not disappointed. The food is freshly prepared, cakes etc are home baked, and very good. Odd arrangement regarding toilets, the only toilet is outside down a path, and this time the door was broken! If we remember correctly several years ago when we visited there was something wrong with the toilets. Are they owned by the café? But we would recommend the café for a light meal or snack, the food is good and the staff friendly.

We visited this cafe for a family meal. We selected it so we could enjoy a nice walk (although I push myself in a wheelchair) along flat surfaces and so that the kids could play in the nearby park.

To look at the cafe you may not think it worth visiting, but you would be wrong. It is very popular so finding a table can be a problem. For such a small place the food is surprisingly good. If you visit the west shore this is worth a visit.

Was on vacation in this area. Am gluten and dairy free and don’t eat meat. The staff were very accommodating, patient, friendly and professional. I was delighted with the food and would definitely recommend the beach cafe. I will be back, Doreen S

Gracias a algunos estatutos arcanos, no hay cafés en la costa norte de Llandudno (la principal zona turística), por lo que si quieres comer en una cafetería con vista al mar, debes dirigirte a la zona más tranquila, pero mucho más pintoresca, a la orilla oeste, donde Encontraré el Beach Cafe.

Decidimos visitar después de leer las críticas y estamos muy contentos de haberlo hecho!

Me detuve aquí en octubre, cuando los obtuvimos los últimos días de sol cálido. Lugar encantador, ubicación fantástica. Pedimos un queso y jamón toastie era encantador, especialmente la ensalada que venía con super sabroso. Estaba viajando solo y conocí a gente encantadora afuera en la terraza. Definitivamente volveré a llamar el próximo año para probar más delicias.

Great service, food and facilities with a lovely view. Lovely large terrace with plenty of seating to sit and admire the views. They also serve ice creams! Lots of choice on menu and they're licensed! Great place to end a long walk

This cafe is in a great location on the front and therefore very popular. Not fancy at all but clean and serves good food and the staff are very friendly. It is very busy and often there are no seats available for the numbers that visit even on rainy days.

We just had a ride out seeing it was too misty to do any gardening.... having called in on the summer for an ice cream and a train ride next door and the menu looked enticing I though let’s give it a go. So, I have an issue with pies...... a pie must have pastry top AND bottom.... not a stew with a lump of pastry abandoned on top... it was advertised as home made meat pie.... if that what they have at home I want to move in!!!!! The pastry was light, golden and just melted in your mouth and the pastry on the bottom was just as well cooked no soggy bottoms here! This was accompanied with fresh broccoli and carrots and new potatoes.... and to top it off a small jug of extra Gravy. Next a brisk walk on the west shore of Llandudno..... maybe not.... but will defiantly be back for more excellent HOT home style cooking
