I contacted Reme via Facebook regarding a take out lunch for my mother's birthday. Reme suggested cured meats, a selection of cheese, crackers and jams. When I came to collect it was all prepared and ready to take. The food was so tasty and a perfect amount for 4 adults. I will definitely be recommending Reme to friends in the future.

A fabulously curated collection of cheese and deli items - there's always something interesting to try, friendly advice and explanations and brilliant sandwiches at lunchtimes. The Christmas sandwich this year was stunning and it's lovely to come for wine and cheese in the evening. We really enjoy having &Caws on our doorstep and our two cats have been big fans too. The menu is short and simple allowing the produce to shine and if there's anything in the fridge or shelves you would like to have, you can pick it up and add it on. The feta and spinach pies are worth an early trip for and the cakes are well chosen and interesting flavours. There's also fondue nights, delicious toasties and hot food as well as pop-up dining from local chefs which always have delicious sounding menus and sell out quickly. & Caws are a0 really lovely addition to Menai Bridge.

A great golf course. Love playing it and highly recommend it. It is well manicured and a challenge too. The clubhouse is well run and there is a good menu available. You get a friendly welcome and it is well worth a visit.

Lovely, quality ingredients - Popeth Cymraeg (everything Welsh). Excellent service. More of a 'cafe' feeling than a pub now, there's also local gifts to peruse and purchase. A lovely experience.

Friendly chap in the kiosk and very efficient. Ordered 2 takeaway teas and sat on one of the benches overlooking the view. Now, that's what we call a brew with a view!

An excellent value fish and chip shop. We had large cod and chips which we split as it was enormous and more than enough for two. Fish cooked to order. Nice light batter. Chips were excellent. Thoroughly recommended.

Decided to come on a Thursday night when they have a special offer on of a Burger and a drink for £10. We were surprised when it came with chips too, which were hand cut and reminded me of home cooked chips from my childhood! The burger was amazing, juicy and full of flavour. Shawn (chef) made us feel welcome and made an effort to come and talk to us and make sure everything was okay. We would recommend a visit!

We’ve been here a few times now and the cakes are absolutely delicious and so reasonably priced. Amy is always super friendly and even makes our very boisterous dog feel welcome. I’d definitely recommend a visit if you’re after a coffee and cake 🍰

Prawn cocktail on a plate - I prefer in a glass ! I had a chocolate brownie - oops those calories ! Service excellent as usual. Thank you Michelle and team. Sue and John

Absolutely blown away by this place. The pies are AMAZING. I like a pie. I've had a lot of pies in my life. I like making my own pies. I go to bakeries all the time. But these are at another level. From now on a new period of my life begins, and these will be the pies that all other pies are judged against. I was going for a breakfast bap from the café round the corner as a bit of a Friday treat, and I spotted this place round the corner with a sign up saying "Homemade pies". I ordered a fresh pork pie, a chicken and ham pie, and a steak pie all hot out of the oven. I ate the pork pie immediately standing at the shop window (what?? I was hungry OK) and at that point, I knew I'd made a good decision. Flakey, crispy pastry and a delicious piece of juicy pork - this was nothing like those mass-produced ones you get and have to throw away half the crust, and none of that weird jelly that everyone throws away (actually I quite like the jelly but... anyway). While I was eating it, more pies were coming out of the oven. And the lady behind the country shouted a friendly hello to a family walking by, they also recommended the pork pies. The remaining pies, I took home and had a bit later with my partner. When we unwrapped them, they were beautiful, delicate crust with a bit of decoration, the same awesome pastry, and both full of really decent chunky, meaty filling. It was so good I nearly shed a tear thinking of the terrible pies and pasties I've eaten over the years. There ought to be a queue half a mile long, but i was totally on my own. This little place is the kind of establishment that proves British cuisine doesn't deserve its bad reputation. There is no egotistical chef here, no micro herbs, no quinoa salad and smoked beetroot ketchup, just pies that make you proud to be from this part of the world. I love this place and I will sing your praises for the rest of my days. And I only popped out for bacon butty.
