The best restaurants serving British food in Gogarth Conwy North Wales

I've come to visit several times, and the vibe is great. I love the cakes (bergamot and honey was gorgeous) and plan to come back more times. I only wish it had a larger selection of herbal teas, considering it's a botanical café.

We were visiting Llandudno for the day and we’re looking for food. We were a bit late in the afternoon and all the hotels had stopped serving food to non guests. A quick Google search and Darcie’s popped up! Upon arrival we were stood outside weighing the place up and a couple came out. The lady said “go in it’s great in there” so we did. Great it was! We were initially greeted by two young ladies. We were very impressed with the warm welcome and their genuine engagement with us. So many times with young staff you feel as if you’re interrupting their chat or social media time but these two enjoyed their work and wanted us to have a great time. It was so refreshing. The food order was taken and it arrived not too long after. Delicious, tasty, nicely presented and appropriately priced. We are vegetarians and there was a good choice at Darcie’s. We can’t highly recommend it enough and we will be back for sure. Thank you all for a pleasant food experience

This place is beautiful. I don’t often write reviews but felt I had to for here. The setting was stunning and the food was outstanding. Fabulous service. I’ll be going back when next in Llandudno.

Booked afternoon tea as a birthday treat for my mum, absolutely wonderful. Food amazing everything home made, staff were very welcoming, polite and friendly. Customers were very quick to say how lovely and well presented our afternoon tea was. Would definitely return and recommend to anyone. Thank you so much for a lovely afternoon.

Had the most wonderful experience with my brother at this amazing restaurant again. He was on holiday from Thailand and we had visited many times over the years. This visit carried on our enjoyment. The menu and food was terrific and the service and dining area marvellous. Everything is clean, service great and the friendliness of everyone extremely comfortable. Well worth a visit and the prices really competitive.

The food was delicious. I really liked the fish cake. I forgot to take my hat when I left, and I'm grateful to the waitress for catching up with me and returning it.

Town House as always has a fantastic atmosphere especially when you have the Scooter Rallys on, Karaoke on Sat & Sun. Great fun

After being a loyal customer for years at the Empire and then the Osborne, we have been refused a booking for 12 people as we might be noisy and disturb the other diners! We originally tried to book the Osborne for 12 people 5 wks in advance but were told we could not book the table more than two weeks before the date! Then 10 days before the date we wanted, we were told that they would not accept a party greater than 8! If we’d been told that, when we made the original enquiry, we could have made alternative arrangements. I wanted to celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday, we are definitely not a rowdy group. We are now struggling to find somewhere suitable and will more than likely have to put off our celebration! So disappointed.

Visited tonight for a friends birthday. A nice atmosphere but the food and service were far from great! We had to ask for a relacement portion of chips and sweet potato fries as they were cold. A few of the tapaz meals were luke warm although should have been hot. A small side salad was 3.75 but had manky spinach in the bowl that had started to decompose. The burger should have coleslaw and came without. When I went to the bar to highlight our experiences I had to ask for a refund for the inedible salad as you pay for your meals in advance. No compensation was offered for the poor service or cold food nor was there any consideration for the fact that my meal was interrupted 3 times to walk to the bar, 2 rooms away. We sat among dirty pots and glasses for most of the night as there was no attempt to clear them. Disappointingly poor service and very average luke warm food. Not impressed. Ladies toilets were a mess with paper towels everywhere. We will not be returning.

went in as it sounded like really good food by the adverts outside only to be told they didnt do food when we went in to get a table !!!!!

We had a party of 28 people ( family and friends ) we were given a large room upstairs and from the beginning the staff made sure the table lay out was to are liking ( so nobody felt left out ) when we arrived we had a few drinks downstairs which was very comfortable and friendly with a lovely atmosphere , then we were taken upstairs to be served , the food was first class with large portions and was served by friendly staff , whilst the whole time making sure we all had plenty of drinks , it was my birthday celebration ad we carried on laughing and talking and didn’t feel the need to move on into town , all in all a ten out of ten experience as said by all of us , thanks to Darren , Emma and there team for a fantastic night wil de be back

My wife and I had a traditional fish and chips lunch from here for the first time this week. I've got to say, the quality and quantity of what we had was exceptional. We've tried about 5 of the other chippies around town over the last couple of years and not one of them gave come close to thus. Well done guys, please don't change ANYTHING
