Ormo Lounge in Conwy

Had a great brunch there yesterday. Service was spot on and importantly for us we could take our little dog in with us, defo go again.

Interesting reuse of a large cafe. Great atmosphere.ove the use of hanging lamp shades. Well worth a visit for a relaxed meal or just a drink.

Lovely relaxing atmosphere, very good service

Second visit this month after we enjoyed dropping in for a coffee and some halloumi fries (£6.50 for 3). This time however was sadly different. Tables were dirty with glasses and plates on several, an illusive waiter and poor food. My wife gave up on the sandwich as the bread was doughy and damp whilst my Nasi Goreng was nice, small but nice but with a handful of dangerous chilli's which were lethal. Egg wasn't fresh and was overcooked. We came here as we had just heard an interview with the person/s who setup the chain and their unforgiving stance on quality. It seems someone forgot tk tell the staff. 🤷‍♂️

Food was alright nothing to rave about. It said please wait to be seated at the front entrance so we stood there for about 5min and finally another patron came and told us they did the same and to seat yourself. Kitchen closes at 10pm which isn’t posted anywhere, luckily we did get food and it was tasty not 5 star tho.

Excellent service from a lovely lady who really looked after us. The portions were huge and really tasty. We even had a pot of T each, thought the first 2 pots were to share between all 4 of us! Best value for money all week.

Food was nice but the place was freezing cold. My food went cold really quickly.

Wanted a g/f tuna melt but no g/f bread ended up with a cake.

Can't rate the food as we only had coffee here. (Which was good). The ambience was first class.

Just went for a couple of drinks because of the inclement weather. We found a nice bench seat though there were full sofas and easy chairs. We immediately relaxed on our seats and watched the world go by. It was the perfect place to be on a wet Thursday afternoon.

Really like this place, easy to go in a group or just on your own. Grab a table, order on your smart phone and enjoy the quirky decor. I've only eaten breakfast but I love the lounges eggs, I'm currently working my way through the variations. Plus got to be the nicest lattes in town!

We decided to come to the Ormo lounge for Sunday lunch as it looks really appealing from the outside. We was told the only seat left for two was right in front of the door where it was freezing every time it opened, however two other couples that came straight after us was taken to other tables into the warmth…thought there was no other tables left?? Judging us maybe?? My partner spoke to the waitress to ask if we could be moved she said she would see what she could do but again sat other couples down and didn’t come back to us… Obviously we left and had a fantastic roast at the The Cottage loaf round the corner. Would not return due to the bad customer experience

Had a great visit to Ormo Lounge. The interior is fantastic. Really nice and makes it worth the visit. The food is good too, not extraordinary but they have good basic meals that aren’t pricy at all. On certain days or hours they have good deals too. Staff is kind. What we didn’t like is you have to order online with a QR code which makes it a bit impersonal, or you have to order at the bar. Would be an extra star for service if they took your order at the table.

In Llandudno for a two day break - ended up in the Ormo Lounge both nights for food and drinks. It was awful weather on the first night (Sunday) and quite quiet around Llandudno but even so the Ormo Lounge had a lovely cosy atmosphere. Quirky decor, spacious, friendly staff and informal, we were glad we stumbled upon it. Reasonably priced and serves food until 10pm too. Love the vibe of this chain - been to the Marino Lounge in New Brighton several times before and hadn't realised they were connected.

Go to Ormo regularly for tapas Tuesday. Last night the tapas was the best it's ever been and it is always good. After sending compliments to the chef we asked his name which was chef John well done

Cowboy smash burger was just amazing - Caribbean chicken curry was bland and lacking chicken. The tapas dishes were also excellent and the staff are very welcoming. Don’t eat the curry!!!

Poor from start to finish. Table was dirty on arrival which I understand. Other tables around us cleaned while ours was left dirty and with plates and glasses. Ordered at the bar no issues cutlery delivered and that’s as far as the food parts go. On delivery if cutlery the guy said he’d be back to clear the table (no show). 40 minutes later no food still despite the bar saying when we asked around 20 mins (2 sandwiches and a bowl of chips) I went in to ask, I’d noticed the waiting screen which only seemed to show ours outstanding. Was told was up to an hour wait despite tables and orders after us eating their food. Eventually food appeared after asking. Nothing special for the price found minimal tuna, asked for mayonnaise for the food that didn’t appear either. Again had to ask for the plates to be moved with the glasses even when our food was delivered. Plates moved glasses were still there when we left. No check back atall. all we got told when the food arrived was assistant manager says you can have drink or cake at no cost! That was about it, didn’t dare ask for a cake as the car park ticket would have run out by the time we got it (2 hours). Food poor and service terrible. Not sure what’s changed this place used to be superb.

Took my mum out for breakfast but wanted something a bit different and nicer to your typical full English etc. We stopped by Ormo Lounge and had Smashed Avo Brunch and Shakshuka and they were both spot on. Just what we were after.

Good use of lovely old buildings. Great decorative walls with mirrors and pictures. However, tables and floors needed cleaning. Used app to order, but the food came at different times. Tea cake cold with no jam and churros took forever. Had drunk coffee by the time they had arrived. Toilets scruffy. I have been to loads of this "lounge" chain and was disappointed with this one.

Amazing Interior with delicious food.

Stopped by for a quick drink before heading home. Coffee was very nice, as was the Biscoff milkshake my husband had. We didn't eat here. The decor was amazing, very William Morris, with beautiful chandeliers hanging from the ceilings, and the sofa we sat on was the same design as the wallpaper in velvet, with large cushions, which were great to lean back on, so comfortable.

Food lovely, cocktails were beautiful, good service can order drinks and food on your phone so no queuing at the bar

Good range of menu selections available, including for kids. Recommend the freshly brewed coffee.

We ate at Ormo on Friday evening, I had the best chilli con carne ever , wife had bang bang chicken, she was equally impressed. Order via app or queue at the bar, we used the app and worked a treat. Beautifully eclectic decor, everywhere is eye catching, very clean and a great atmosphere. Staff were super friendly and helpful, service was spot on , Had more drinks on the outdoor terrace, great value .. So good we returned on Saturday and dined again, just as impressive. Really worth a visit for an enjoyable experience..

Waited an hour for food, staff member forgot to send order to the kitchen!

Walked in with no booking and found a table straight away. Very happy we stumbled across this little gem. The staff were welcoming and friendly, the food was delicious and prices were very reasonable Would recommend

This is my first time here and I’m a fan! Beautifully decorated, clean, and excellent coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. Attentive and professional staff. I’ll be back!

Surprising restaurant with a broad menu in a beautiful, cozy setting.

I don’t like leaving negative words but we expected more after reading reviews. The atmosphere and design were nice, gave me “Friends” feel, boho, relaxed and dog friendly, but dirty tables everywhere, and menus with really small font…the display menu is poorly placed in the window, directly blocked by a table of four, if I’m being picky. I liked the “order at the bar or with the QR code”, but we went to the bar as we were paying in cash. Long queue, but we were ok with that. There was a nice menu selection in each food category. After waiting more than 25mins, which was fine as we were not in a hurry, we did get our food after 2 larger tables that came after us received theirs. I hate when that happens, especially since we were just 2, but we were patient. My Thai coconut prawn noodles were terrible. The noodles were sitting and soaked up most of the little amount of broth there was by the time it arrived. There were some saucy prawns, but nothing Thai or coconutty about them. Almost inedible really. My husband hand the chicken wings, which were “not awful”, in his words. The men’s toilet were “not great” either. It’s too bad, maybe it was just our experience. Hope yours is better if you go. We were there on a Thursday, around 7-8pm

Ordered at table, little interaction with server. Food okay but very little chicken in bang bang chicken for the price. Drink tasted processed pink lemonade. Seated on a high table not that comfortable with no chair back. Main and drink for £18. Nothing special.

Food is nice, and great options for gf and vegan.. but the wine!! Better you ask the bar before you order! The cheapest bottle.of red wine was 20 pounds which is a decent price for a bottle of wine.. shame when it came it was a 10% tempranillo, didn't even know it could exist such a low alcohol red wine.. result, terrible ..

The interior is fabulous, staff friendly food very nice my iced coffee was gorgeous, would definitely have a repeat visit.

The decor is lovely, food is very, very tasty ....I had tapas ( prawns , hummus with pitta bread and beef brisket chilli ) Went with a friend who lives in Llandudno and recommended we go . Visit a branch of the ' Lounge ' bars near home all the time and love the atmosphere there too.

Food was nice, but service is very bad. We had to wait a long time just to order drinks at the bar , no one even considering you.

Lovely colourful place with a very nice and diverse menu. The food was very delicious and we had a good time! Ordering is not very easy with your one telefone l, but it worked..

Great to find somewhere that welcomes those with nut allergies, after 3 other cafes had been unable to assure us that their food was safe. Staff were lovely too.

This is a late review. Visited for a beer with a friend as part of an overnight stop in Llandudno during a motorbike tour of North Wales in Sept 23. We walked North along the front then turned left and found this place opposite the converted cinema now housing a Wetherspoons. I loved the converted shop front with the huge, curved, one piece, panes of glass either side of the doorways. The interior is broken down into different zones and decorated with gilt, loads of random pictures and portraits on the walls and hundreds of ceiling lamps hanging from above. It's like a modern Baroque style. Despite being busy we found a table and the bar service was quick. There were a few bars dotted around so worth a wander if the nearest is busy and it gives an excuse to investigate other parts of the place. We didn't eat there but the beer was good with a decent range. Well worth a visit. Edit: Thanks to Mr Bleasdale for his reply. A nice, comfortable place to eat and drink. I like this chain, because I know that I will be able to find a good range of gluten free food, and dairy free options. They have a good cocktail menu, including alcohol free, and also make some fantastic soft drinks, like their Sherbet Lemonade. It's a bit noisy when it's full, but what do you expect?

One Cold dish then two burnt ones, waited 30 minutes for pudding, no sauce with the Churros, sticky toffee pudding not nice, tasted like banana cake.

Great food, great wines and fast service. Very popular and busy but the decor is fabulous.

Horrible service , tables dirty , didn’t get any meals right and took almost an hour for churros. One of my worst experiences with service , simple job get my meal right. However , atmosphere was lovely and well decorated and the food was above average. Good food and great atmosphere but service lets it down

We were in Llandudno for a weekend trip and decided to try Ormo launge only because it looked so beautiful from outside and the atmosphere.. but after testing the food, we went back for breakfast for the remaining 2 days. Beautiful cozy atmosphere and great food. definitely recommend to everyone.

Popped in for a drink and was very impressed by the interior. It is hard to describe but perhaps a Cuban theme. Either way it provides somewhere relaxing to go to. Music in the background and excellent service meant we ended up there for 3 hours. Although we never ate, the menu looks good and also has an excellent gluten free menu too. Worth a stop to sink in the old leather chairs. Situated at the top end of Llandudno, there is a pay and display car park a few minutes away

Really disappointed with the rude staff. After making a mistake with our order, instead of correcting this, the waitress with the orange bob proceeded to aggressively blame us for their error (which we calmly asked about). Our drinks never arrived and we were lectured about drama in the kitchen. Wouldn’t come back

Went there at night with the mrs after a afternoon pub crawl in Llandudno.The place is very quirky decorated and lovely atmosphere in there.The Food was lovely and service great,5 stars😎

Always reliable if not the cheapest, we need gluten free and it has a full menu available. People are lovely and plenty of space.

I just wanted to write a review to tell the staff tonight they were amazing. From the welcome at the bar when I asked if dogs were allowed with a wonderful reply 'of course' then at the table we were greeted with smiles and kind attention making us feel welcome . If felt as though all the staff loved working there and were proud of their food. Notably the young guy who gave our exhausted little dog a biscuit, the girl who brought our food and checked on us, the girl with blue hair and the guy who was brushing up with a big smile. World class team and tasty food. Piping hot Korean prawns made me want to order more. Thank you

While on our recent visit to Llandudno, we decided to dine at the @ormoloungellandudno and I'm glad we did. The ambience was absolutely stunning. Every nook and corner was aesthetic with beautiful vintage and modern frames. The lamps, the sofa, chairs, everything was spot on. The food was reasonably priced and the taste and quantity was just awesome. The husband chose to have Bang Bang Chicken which had exotic vegetables, chicken, noodles with coconut broth. I chose to go with a tapas set where one can choose any 3 options out of the many. Tried the Hummus with Pita bread, Garlic and Parmesan Chicken Wings and Patata Bravas, paired with an Italian Beer. It took nearly 20 minutes for the food to arrive but was worth waiting, especially the hummus and pita. Would definitely love visiting again.

Busy place serving good food reasonably priced good selection. Staff and atmosphere are nice. A good selection of guest drinks would recommend. If you want somewhere nice without breaking the bank.

Great place with very large seating place, great decor, ample options in food and excellent service. You can enter the space and choose to seat wherever you’d like and place the order by scanning the barcode at table.

Came here for food and I had a veggie burger. It was incredibly tasty!! I also had a pink lemonade cooler and really enjoyed that. We sat outside which was our own choosing due to it being quite busy during the time we came. The only thing I wished was a few more chips with the burger but that's just because I was starving ha. Staff were friendly and I had a good experience.

The food here is decent, they have loads of gluten free options and alcohol free drink options. It's a big place so it can accommodate a larger party. The food isn't cheap but it's not extortionate. The venue is beautiful. I just think the service is a bit rubbish. Drinks seem to take an age to be made. They've always run out of something. If you book in a larger party, they ask you to pre-order which I don't like. But I have been there with a preorder and been told items aren't available because they are sold out. I've also been there with a preorder where a member of our party hasn't made it to the meal because of illness, and despite telling them as soon as we got there, they still charged us for what that person ordered. Seems like they make it up as they go along to suit them. That said the staff are all friendly enough.

Mothers 60th birthday. Everything was on Pont except everything is ordered at the bar and carrying 10 pints as one person is difficult.

A truly incredibly beautiful interior, therefore absolutely worth it. In terms of food, we found it quite lousy. It took a long time for our order to arrive anyway. I ordered a Cesar's salad, which was really a mockery and was absolutely unworthy of the name meal salad: finely chopped (!) very bitter lettuce, a piece of chicken here and there and a cube of avocado. Dressing not to be found. Really ridiculous for £13.50 Very unfortunate, it is not such a difficult dish and the presentation could not have been much worse. Still 3 stars because of the fantastic location. The food at the Aberystwyth location was fantastic, so the quality of the food will depend on where you are.

Tasty but small 3 tapas for £13.95 when compared to other restaurants like Las iguanas or Chiquitos. I particularly liked the beef quasadilla. Similar for the cocktails reasonable when on a deal between 5pm to 8pm 2 for £12.50 but taste a little watery especially the lemon drop which should only have vodka. Lemoncello and a bit of lemon juice. I couldn't taste any alcohol and it was quite sweet when it stated it had sherbert in it but had no zing. I suppose in todays world 4 drinks and 7 tapas for £55 is normal but felt a little expensive for the portion size. The restaurant is dog friendly so be prepared to possibly have puppy eyes looking at your food hungrily.

Food is amazing we enjoyed it very much staff friendly did everything to make sure you feel welcome.

Food was overpriced and substandard, although a very nice young lady noticed that it was our granddaughters birthday and brought her a "pink lemonade to match her hair " which was incredibly kind and very much appreciated by our granddaughter, made her day 🥰 so thank you xxx

Love ormo lounge always spend an afternoon or two when we visit Llandudno sitting outside people watching with a drink or two .fantastic property this time we had food it was superb.as I was driving I only had half pint of morreti but disapointed it was served in a tumbler 🤔🤔🤔🤔instead of a proper glass ! Beautiful old restored building, great atmosphere, friendly staff. Didn't eat so couldn't comment on the food but what we saw looked really good and menu looked good value for money. Will go back for a meal.

Walked in off the street hoping for a coffee to warm up from the rain. It was quiet and the decor was beautifully done. As we looked around for somewhere to sit and relax we noticed most every table was littered with dirty cups, glasses and plates. We found a small table that was clutter free. When looking at the menu my hands became sticky from the table top. It is most unacceptable. Hence we left without ordering. Shameful...dirty place.

Tapas was amazing, will definitely return. Very impressed.

Easy access for mobility scooter, comfortable seating, good food at reasonable prices, interesting art work throughout, good quick, friendly service.

2nd visit and wasnt disappointed,food was tasty and refreshing and the cordials are lovely.

Absolutely the worst place iv ever been food was brought out one meal at a time prices on the drinks were different amounts everytime will never go here again disgusting 🫣

Found this lovely place on a day trip to Llandudno. Fabulous decor, tables well spaced out and comfy, good choice on the menu.too. we had the philly cheese ciabatta with a beer and a tea. The drinks were lovely and food came out without too much of a wait, and was really tasty. We would definitely return here again and would highly recommend to family and friends.

The atmosphere wasn't great. The food was plain with poor presentation. The service was OK The only thing that was good were the cocktails really.

Brilliant venue for food and drink

Service terrible. 4 behind bar and one lad serving. Others cleaning glasses, one making cocktails and God knows what the other two were doing but saw queue and didn't help the one doing all the work. Would tell everyone yo swerve this place as there is not one ounce of customer service. Where was someone in charge making sure customers were being served and not ignored???? Will not be going again.

Well we thought we would pop in for a bite to eat the service was incredably slow. I returned my drink because it didn't taste like coke and it took 25 min for it to be replaced. The food was great but when I went to add mayonnaise to my chips a horrible liquid came out of the bottle, Im just glad I had eaten most my food beforehand

Very large bar / restaurant in an elegant building. My favourite lagers they have here Menabrea and Moretti. Had the Menabrea but was a little disappointed with it, not as good as I have had it but maybe just not moving through the pump enough as generally an unknown lager in the UK

Popped in here Friday night for a couple of cocktails. The staff were friendly and the place had a good atmosphere, however, I've got to say we were let down by the drinks. The bar staff can't do cocktails and were just reading instructions and chucking them together. I just think there should be somebody that knows how to make them properly when you're expected to pay nearly £10 per drink. We'd just left a small place round the corner that made quality cocktails cheaper than this place.

A comfortable, relaxing place to spend a wet afternoon. Staff friendly and efficient. Beer not cheap, but good, surroundings and the atmosphere more than make up for that.
