Great customer service, freshly cooked fish and chips which was enjoyed by all. Very very tasty sat outside on the bench and enjoyed the sunshine

Ordered a few times from here. Never had a bad order. Big portions, decent prices. Some good lunch time offers too in the shop.

Delivery was fast but food was disappointing. Prices are expensive and not worth the quality. Chips tasted like fish.

the potato scollops were spot on. but the kebab was diabolical. The naan was absolutely soaked in grease and very floppy!! I can even see the grease collected in the corner of the box, so much grease. Very disappointed!!

Excellent fish and chips best around well worth a visit staff helpful nothing any trouble to them. If your in towyn or kinmel bay head on down you won't be disappointed 💯

fish was lovely, but the curry rice and chips had no option for curry choice or rice choice. it had seet curry which i hate, so wont order that meal again

the food was that nasty the chips was burnt and dry no salt and vinegar on them fish was that dry and burnt it's was like chewing rubber to me the food was from the day before I basically throw £30 in bin cause that's where the food went won't be ordering from you again

Just ordered cod and chips for us both one pot of curry sauce to be delivered £34!!! Arrived looked like it had just come out of bin over cooked thin fish batter was well over cooked fish was dried out chips over cooked and must be been all cooked in dirty oil We just had a few mouth fulls and threw it in bin never again will we have anything more from there we don't recommend this fish shop at all

Massive portion of chips but way over cooked, chips were hard and looked burnt, my opinion is the fat used is no good anymore, shame..

I ordered from Crispy Cod in Kinmel Bay through Uber Eats, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The order was simple—just two items from the specials with one small modification—but they completely messed it up. Mistakes happen, and I was willing to give them the chance to fix it. However, when I called to explain, the gentleman who answered the phone was incredibly rude, talked over me, and showed no interest in resolving the issue. His attitude was far from customer-friendly, which made the situation even more frustrating. A few people had warned me about this place, but I thought I’d give it a try myself. Turns out, they were absolutely right. This was my first time ordering here, and it will definitely be my last. Poor service, poor communication—definitely not recommended.

Now our favourite for Saturday night takeaway. Food is always delicious with the tastiest chips in the area. Friendly staff are always welcoming and fast, reliable service.

Came here for my lunch and he charged me twice. Told me that the first payment hadn’t gone through even though I showed on my bank that it did. So I paid £18.70 for chicken nuggets, chips, curry sauce and a drink. Wouldn’t be so bothered if the food was nice but the chips were the worst tasting things I’ve had in a while. Seems like this is a scam that is used to get more money out of people he doesn’t know. Will not be returning and will be making everyone aware of this issue and telling them to avoid👍

one lot of fish and chips missing the mushy peas and the other chops must if been hungry as they ate the fish! the food was way 2 salty couldn't eat it

Just had some fish and chips from Crispycod they where rubbish not good value for money the chips where warmed up fish was poor never again will i go there i will stick to Robs in Pensarn and £2 cheaper.

Ordered fish and chips - chips and battered sausage and I can honestly say that was the worst food I've ever had. The fish was burnt to a crisp. It was that dry it was like rubber the sausage was also well over cooked and the chips were vile. If I wasn't so far away I would I've taken the food back and asked for a refund. This person new he had burnt the food be still gave it us. All he had to do was say I'm sorry I've burnt your food I will have to cook it again and we would of waited. Obviously does not care about it's customers and just wants your money. If there was a choice to give no stars I would of picked that. HONESTLY THE WORST FOOD I'VE EVER HAD.

Just had an enjoyable sausage dinner which was ordered to takeaway. The sausage and chips were made to order. They were very nice. The location was clean with a bench outside. Additionally, the staff were also very friendly.

Popped in today after a drive out! OMGGGGGGGG THE FOOD WAS STUNNING!!!!! The man I think was the owner was helpful, warm, welcoming, the young lad frying was the same, and everything was cooked to order! The curry sauce and peas were just lush - huge portions! And the kebab meat and sauces - so tasty, fresh, piping hot! Nothing was too much trouble - forks, an extra tray and bag! Thank you both, we’ll be back!

Used to visit this chippy when it was Gj's . However the food wasn't bad it was a decent bit of food and fairly quick. Just wasn't the experience I was expecting.

OMG they were the worse chips I have had in a long, long time they were dark brown well overcooked they were horrible and tasted funny. The oil needs changing. I think they were yesterday’s and had been warmed up. Straight in the bin they went they were disgusting.

Worst chippy I have ever been to. The chips were cooked in fat that should have been changed ages ago. The chips were dark brown almost burnt. Don’t order pies the beef and onion pie was that tiny and looked like the little suet pies you Boil in a tin. The steak and kidney one was one of those own label budget pies ya buy in packs of four. I waited ages for this and the shop was empty and the place isn’t cheap either. Never again most of it went in the bin nasty food .

Just had order delivered, asked for minced beef and onion pie, got a hard, dried up, burnt chicken and mushroom that was obviously from lunch time and definitely not a pukka pie....more like brought from Asda. Phoned to complain said he'd called to say no minced beef and onion, yeah after it had been delivered. No refund or replacement just offer offered pie next time.....er no ta, there won't be a next time

Looking at the reviews, I expected to get a 1st class fish and chips from crispy cod Rhyl . How very disappointed am i . For a sea side resort, you would expect to get a decent fish and chips, not at this shop. The chips where old , dry and been reheated , must be the worst chips I have ever tased. Just couldn't be bothered to cook some fresh. The fish was cooked from fresh , however , it was meant to be lightly batterd , not so . And Where was the fish , all batter no fish, so little and yet charging so much. I don't mind paying for something I am getting . Not sure what kind of fish , I was given, did not look or tast like cod. Must be the worst food i have ever eaten, absolutely discussing , not fit for human consumption. All went in to the bin and my kids went without. Don't waste your money , I want my money back £29

Hmm, when at the coast, you expect to get the best fish and chips, sadly not tonight. The fish was nice, but there had to be bigger fish in the sea, the small was very small, and the large was slightly bigger, but you wouldn't describe it as anywhere near large, 😀 The chips didn't taste like chips should taste. They were overcooked or probably refried. Shame, but that's what it was, and we won't be rushing back.

really not good chips were brown and shrivelled up..tasted terrible. Fish was not fresh. we threw it away and I cooked something. Will not be returning. a shame for a seaside chip shop.

The staff were very friendly and it was very clean, the chips were over cooked as they were refried and most of them were hard. We ordered a saveloy which was wrapped in foil and then wrapped again in paper and when we got home it was cold as if it had come out of the fridge and not heated at all.

Wow. Never have I ever been so disgusted with a business in all my life. I placed an order at 4:30, the order said it would be with me between 5:20-5:40. At 5:20 the order said it was on its way to me. It got to 5:50 and the order still wasn’t here. I rang the restaurant and asked where my order was, to which the worker said ‘’were very busy and the weather is bad so you’re next, it’ll be another 30 minutes’’. I said, I played this order an hour and half ago, to which the worker then said ‘’well you either wait or you cancel as we’re cooking it now’’. I then pointed out that I got a notification saying it was on its way half an hour ago, to which the worker replied ‘’what do you want me to do kill myself?’’ I am absolutely APPALLED by this. Never in my life have I encountered something like this when ordering a chippy. Never again. Sorry.

Food was hot and tasted great will order again. Only downside but a little one pic of sausage dinner showed gravy in a pot, it came all over not a major problem but some fussy eaters who like to dip and not have it all over. All good though not a negative comment x

i’ve tasted thousands of curry’s in my life and i can honestly say that is the worst thing i’ve ever tasted didn’t even taste like curry, food was delivered very late and was awful, will not be coming back here again do not recommend.

Whilst on holiday with the family we decided to grab a chippy tea. We got the usual, fish and chips. OH MY WORD, the fish was absolutely amazing. Perfectly battered and cooked. Not greasy at all. Beautiful flavourful cod. Quite possibly the best fish I've ever had from a chippy. The kids devoured there food too. Thr chips we also very very tasty. Maybe ever slightly overdone but you know what, I ain't gunna complain. If we ever come back to the area again, I know where I'm going for my chippy tea.

Driver couldn’t find our address even though we had dropped a pin on the app as required. This resulted in the food being cold and greasy when it finally arrrived, for which I had to walk over half a mile to go and collect the food from the driver.

got to be the best chippy on the north Wales coast.

We visit rhyl at least 10 times a year, everytime we come we have used this chip shop. Food usually ok. We normally go in to order but last week we decided to order for delivery as it stated we could order on there website from yoyo. DONT ORDER FOR DELIVERY. After waiting 20 minutes for confirmation of our order we rang the chip shop, the guy told us they don't use yoyo for deliveries no more, we said well you have taken our money.!! We then drove down to find out what was happening and why it is advertised on there website to have delivery by yoyo, the guy assured me that the money was only pending and it would go back in my account the next day. Two days later the money as now gone out my account and they have received my money for an order we never received due to there false advertising. I have spoken with yoyo who have told me that it was them who could cancel as they don't receive money from customers till 5 days after the purchase.. it is annoying how they can just take your money and actually lie to your face. We are now in touch with our bank and trading standards so hoping this will get resolved soon.

I ordered this between 5.30 -6pm didn't arrive till 7.45 pm far to late to eat ! so this is not the first time this has happened . last time they got the order wrong so I won't be using this service anymore

chips where the only thing that was OK, the chicken curry was tinned chicken curry it was a joke and the dona had a funny taste to it. delivery was on time or perhaps a little bit early
