delicious fish and chips , lovely staff & good atmosphere will be back went with famil & all really enjoyed the food amazing quality too.

Wait time was a joke when I only ordered 2 regular chips and waited over 20 mins considering when others came in after me and ordered fish and chips and more ontop and got theirs first, then to top it off the chips were awful, ive had better cheap aldi ones ones in the air fryer

My brother and I ordered a bag of chips and waited over 20 minutes the place wasn't very busy, There were only two people in there but the chips were tasteless they didn't taste of anything they were the worst chips I have had in my life and I have been eating chippy since the 1980's, also on the board it said "small Fish and Chips" £4.90 I thought that's cheap but when I asked you buy the chips separately which really came to £7.10 for a small fish and chips, that's false advertising glad I only ordered chips I wont be going again unless it's taken over by new management.

Great fish & chips, have to wait a while as it's cooked when you order but is well worth the wait. Staff very friendly & helpful.small carpark round the corner but plenty of park spaces in the surrounding streets.

Whenever we visit our friend in Kinmel Bay we always get fish and chips from Crispy Cod. The food is always freshly cooked and the service is friendly.

Ordered on deliveroo took longer but not crispy cods fault busy on getting a rider food arrived hot and was delicious

We popped here on way home ,had some lovely fish and chips ,it was very big ,chips were chunky ,batter on the fish was lovely ,large fish and chips and a can cost £9.50,that's really cheap.whem in kimbel bay again will defenatly go there again .

What a fantastic experience shop very clean, staff very friendly food was excellent we both had chicken breast and chips.Chips were brilliant chicken lovely. We are on holiday otherwise this would become our chip shop of choice. If you are in the area give them a try.

came yesterday with friends We ordered 1 Classic fish and chips with cheese, 1 fish and chips with gravy sauce and chipbap. It all was Amazing! The fish is great and the chips- the BEST around Conwy county for sure. Is a new owner and he's doing amazing and even better then the old one. Can't believe for all rude and unpleasant reviews about it. Go yourself and try it! Definitely come back, very soon. Thank you!

Food was excellent and freshly cooked to order ,a fair price aswell certainly cheaper than we get in carlisle and the customer service was excellent and satisfactory

We used this chippy when it first opened and it was great. I went on Wednesday teatime for fish and chips and the food was inedible! The fish batter was swimming in grease and when I cut into the fish it was so dry it was chewy. (went straight to the dog). The chips were luke warm, soft and bendy and looked like they were old, certainly not nice hot crispy chips. I feel that it has gone downhill.

Never had such bad food.Spent £24 for 3meals all 3went in bin.pie rock hard fish chewy batter and fish left a back taste.Have always used when on holiday but never again.

Pre ordered had a little wait when we got there so busy not surprised as food was fantastic thank you

Called in for a lunchtime bite, they have lunch specials. I had the special, small fish and chips with either peas, curry or gravy for £6.45. The fish was a reasonable size considering it was the small, freshly cooked served with fresh chips. The food was very tasty, not greasy at all. I would recommend if you're after a decent fish! They have a table outside for convenience too.

So disappointed with the food, was expecting something decent after reading the reviews. Had fish, chips, 2 pieces chicken and curry sauce. The coated chicken was dry and the coating was burnt. The fish had no taste and very thin. Chips were ok, but not many in a regular portion. Wouldn't recommend and definitely will not return.

Just bought 2x kebabs with chips and onion rings asked fir carton of garlic mayo and got beans and I was charged 1.50 for it won't be going again

Brilliant chippy for a holiday town. Always have issues with seaside chippy but very pleased with this one. Food served fresh and very tasty. Generous portions. Hubby wasn't keen on pie but enjoyed his fish. Very polite staff. Only accept cash.

Waiting too long for a basic portion of chips and pies and curry. It's supposed to be fast food .

This was our second choice of chip shop as the first was closed. However the food was very good quality. We had cod and haddock- both tasted nice. However the Spam Fritter was the main deal- never had one before but it was absolutely delicious!!!! I wish I'd had more than one!. Service was good - the young woman serving just before 9pm on 16th July 2022 was really friendly. Also could tell the shop was clean as visited whilst cleaning was taking place.

Visited for the first time Friday evening and both had fish & chips,and I had a large portion of mushy peas. By far the best we have had in a long time.It was soon clear to see why it is called Crispy Cod… the batter was perfectly crispy & light. Well worth the £14.80 and we will certain be visiting again when in the area

Definitely the best chippy on the coast, pointless going anywhere else.

Staying nearby for a long weekend, and thought we'd try this place out. Nice and clean inside, smells were yummy! Placed our order and joined the queue of people waiting for their orders. Only two people were working there and it was very busy.. plus being a Friday night... but I didnt mind as I knew our food would be nice and fresh once it was ready. Chips were delicious and sausages equally as good. Only thing that wasn't 100% was that the pies were microwaved.. but hubby did not mind. Reccomended !!

Yummy chippy serves most foods including burgers and kebabs and the cod is great and proper chippy chips

Horrible service, waited for over 30 minutes and when it was finally done the staff serving got the order wrong and the food was not even good. If you are in Kinmel Bay and want to go to a chip shop stay very far from here and go else where.
