Friendly welcome, beautiful setting, pint of Welsh Pride very good. Definitely return :)

Lovely little curved seat by the fire. Perfect. Friendly and it had some puzzles, card games to play. Would've liked a hot drink, but none were being served.

Excellent Bass bitter (hand drawn) on the lovely old quayside. Unspoilt old interior. Well worth a visit.

Such a friendly pub It was our 1st visit, they made us and our dogs feel so welcome.

1 pint of Carling and 1 half of cider. £10.55. In plastics. Great location but that's some mark up on the pricing.

I had an enjoyable visit to the Liverpool Arms when I was in Conwy for a few days. The pub is in a great location on the quay which makes it ideal for people watching and enjoying the sunshine. The pub serves local real ales. The interior is decorated with shipping memorabilia and although it is an old building carries a certain rustic charm. The clientele seems quite mixed with locals as well as tourists and I felt quite safe and welcome during my visit. The staff seem to work hard to leave a positive impression of their town and to ensure that visitors have a positive experience.

A great quay-side pub, serving a good range of local and national ales and ciders. Polite efficient staff and reasonable prices (particularly for a venue in this type of location).

I’ve lived in Conwy 40 years. The Liverpool arms has always been a popular local. Today, we bought our drinks and sat outside on the steps to the right of the pub, a member of staff approached us and said “ you can’t sit here with your drinks, you need to move”Customer service definitely needs to be addressed.

Just had the one beer and that was enough. More head on a victim of the guillotine. Felt soory for the woman serving on, she was run ragged.

We popped in here on a Saturday afternoon, 2 staff working, both miserable and very bossy ordering people around with their over zealous covid rules.We know there are restrictions in place but is there really need to basically talk to adults like children and shout at them 'Dont stand there' or 'Stay away from the toilet door' in a Hitler fashion? I think not. Wouldn't go in again.

Stopped here a few times on our visit to Conwy for a glass of wine or two. Service was always friendly and generally quick and beers and wine reasonably priced. What more could you want :)

We travel to Wales every year on a family holiday and go to Conwy every time without fail. This year we took our new edition my 6 month old daughter. We went to the Liverpool Arms to get out of the pouring rain and so we could have some food, a drink and most importantly to feed my 6 month old daughter, however we were stopped at the door to be told there was no room for us so we turned away to find somewhere else. Behind us were a group of adults (there were only 4 of us) about 6 of them who were allowed to go inside. They turned us away because I had a child in a pram. I’m truly upset and angered at this behaviour and will definitely NOT be going to this establishment ever again. They treated us like we had the plague, the doorman was very rude and didn’t even look at us when speaking to us. Not family friendly at all.

Visit this quayside pub every time I come to Conwy and the staff have never been anything other than friendly, courteous and outgoing. Great location, good choice of drinks, clean C19 safe venue. Special thanks to Marie (the lady in charge), May, Jake, Aaron and Ellie for looking after tourists and locals alike so very well. Thank you all, I will be back x!!!

We arrived at 11.15ish and were clearly the first customers of the day as there was no one around. It’s a great location so we sat outside. The directions say the staff will come and take an order, but after a while of no one appearing I popped into the bar to make sure they were actually open. Someone eventually came out and we simply ordered tea. I didn’t know that it was possible to ruin tea, but it was horrible. We couldn’t work out if it wasn’t boiling water, or the milk was UHT or was actually off, but we took one sip and left it. As said earlier it’s a great location right next to the quay, and maybe the beer, etc is good, but the service left a lot to be desired and the tea was horrible. Stick to alcohol if you are visiting here.

Visited here many times, our favourite bar in Conway. Great selection of ales, very pleasant staff and best view of the estuary as its only a few feet away. Highly recommended.

Just spent a weekend in Conwy and on both nights we visited The Liverpool Arms pub.Very busy on the first night (it was a Saturday and a warm one at that!!) but we managed to bag ourselves a table on the outside overlooking the Estuary.Met Aaron for the first time and found him to be a very profession yet very friendly member of staff.Made us feel very welcome.We returned the next evening and Aaron met us at the door and told us to grab a table quickly and sit down as last orders was coming up. He really is a fantastic member of staff....professional, polite, chatty and friendly in equal measures.Keep up the good work Aaron Sharon & AshHuddersfield

Friendly professional staff, sound covid secure measures. Very nice local ale (Conwy Gold) . We were lucky to just turn up and managed to get a table there on the terrace as it is very popular, especially of course in the good weather.

First of all, we entered the pub and waited at the bar to order drinks to sit outside. We were told (rather rudely) by the lady behind the bar to sit and wait to be served as there is no standing at the bar, which is fair enough with the regulations at the moment. Another person entered the bar after us and was served standing up to take out drinks. Finally we were served at the table. We asked for three diet cokes in plastic cups to take outside, as we had already seen people drinking from plastic cups. The young man was polite but told us we can only order 2L drinks to take out so we asked for 2L of Diet Coke and a few cups to pour into. He then told us no again, and said it had to be a beer on draught. We said we’d leave it and get a can from another stall. We have now been sat outside for an hour and have constantly seen people having trays brought out with both alcohol and soft drinks in small plastic cups - no sign of 2L jugs anywhere. We’d love to know why we were lied to but judging by the other reviews, we weren’t Welsh enough. Please see picture

The staff are protected with face masks but they combine multiple drinks orders on one tray. We saw our drinks tour three tables after a disappointingly long wait, laid on tables within breathing distance of customers before reaching our table. They should protect customers by taking one order per tray.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly locals and the Bass was great. I wish we’d stayed here longer, but moved on to try another pub before dinner and was sorry we hadn’t stayed put.

Whatever you're paying that Irish Barman double it, I've not seen service like that for a long time. As soon as there was noone else to serve he was cleaning and polishing and interacting with customers, he clearly takes pride in his work. Top man, Top pub.

Clean and tidy overlooking the harbour. Very small and toilets a little claustrophobic, but overall very nice and staff friendly and welcoming.

Walked from Llandudno to Conwy. Had a local around the local town, have visited the area before. Some very quaint shops. Decided to call in for a drink. Going through some decorating so places were cordoned off. Pleasant way to spend an hour on a Tuesday.

Visted the Liverpool Arms for a pint whilst exploring conwy, nice friendly staff with good knowledge about the beer and ale they were selling. Would highly recommend visiting to try one of there many guest ales.

This was close to the castle, easy walk and down by the water. It was a somewhat rainy day so we stayed inside but you could enjoy the outside scenery in better weather. The staff were friendly and the food was good. My husband had the fish and chips and I had a huge bowl of mussels in a wine sauce with a nice piece of crusty bread, delicious. We shared the sticky toffee pudding with warm custard, tons of calories but worth every bite.

Very popular only because it is on the quayside! Staff problem - ignoring people waiting at bar to continue washing a few cups. I assumed she was a collector/pot-washer not allowed to serve alcohol! One chap shook his head and walked out. Eventually we were served by the said lady in an embarrassing silence. Toilets are in a dire condition. Small outside seating area with fabulous views overlooking the estuary. There were a couple of umbrellas to prevent seagull droppings going in drinks etc but on two occasions they were lifted by the wind and one fell on people - an obvious health & safety issue. Miserable place. There are other pubs within a very short walking distance that make customers feel welcome. Not recommended.

The lady behind the bar was rude to her staff and most of the customers.

Sat outside bar man was lovely and friendly I watched him interacting with customers, clearing tables helping people find places to sit. I had a blackcurrant and lemonade he even put strawberries in for me and although in a plastic glass it looked very appealing enjoyed my drink here

Went there with friends recently, it seems to be ok for the Irish Manager to have a drink in a glass outside but not the locals.

The cocktail half filled one of those small sandcastle pots that you would give to your children - all that was missing was a spade. Definitely not worth the £16! Shamefully the cocktail wasn't that even nice.

After a long walk round the beautiful North Wales coast, this was the first pub we came to in Conwy. We were welcomed warmly by the Irish barman and had a lovely couple of hours in the sunshine watching the world go by.

Absolutely fantastic place to sit outside with a drink after a hard morning sightseeing. As it's on the quay and near the Smallest House in Britain, there are always plenty of people going past and there's lots to look at. The staff were friendly and the locals were a hoot - both times we visited, we ended up chatting away to random old guys sitting inside. Didn't go at night, but for an afternoon pint in the sun, there can't be many better locations.

Always pop in here for drink when in Conwy. It's an institution! Nice to sit outside and watch the world go by....and the people! Always good staff that serve you quick! See you next time.

This is a lovely old pub on the quay in Conwy with views over the estuary and the castle. Sit outside if the weather is good. The young barman was very friendly and willing to give advice on the excellent choice of real ale, he’ll even let you have a taster before you buy.

This pub is conveniently placed for a lot of tourist attractions in Conwy. There were lots of people there when I was so it is worth visiting.

Lost in time the Liverpool arms sat right on the quay in Conwy. Nice if you have the weather to sit outside but be prepared for plastic glasses.

After walking around Conwy Mountain, I was in need for refreshment. I had noticed ths pub on the quay when I started my walk, so decided to pop in before heading home.

Lovely dog-friendly pub with water provided from an old-fashioned barrel outside so you know the water is fresh, uncontaminated and cool. Drinks and outdoor seating are lovely.

So on a coach holiday and a visit to Conwy but just 2 hours & it’s raining plus an unhappy wife in her electric wheelchair & the question we all say is find a cafe or PH and get warm and that’s what we strove to do.

Fabulous position on the quay, really nice beer selection, and really friendly staff. Top location, a must go if anywhere near. If the sun is shining, make a b-line to the LA!

The Liverpool Arms is a decent pub serving a good range of beers and ciders. It also serves a range of gins. Friendly staff but a bit pricey. Five drinks including 2 pints of ale and a soft drink came to £19.

Went in for drink early evening on a Sunday ordered pint of San Miguel and small Pinot Grigio and it was ...... What a rip off for no customers and no atmosphere in a very basic pub !!! Felt ripped off ....

The location of this pub is great to sit outside on the quay & watch the world go by, you can take dogs in & we sat & ordered some drinks but we were dissapointed that they did not serve food.

We were on a day out to Llandudno and on our way back we stopped at this lovely quirky little town as we were walking across the harbour we popped in for a drink well!!! The lady behind the bar was not very helpful at all we asked for two ciders we had to take one back as she had given us lager!!! She was not impressed and just tutted as she exchanged no apology or smile!!! The outside could of done with a sweep up but we did not let it spoil our day it’s a shame really as the place as good potential just a shame about their staff

Great pub but the female manageress needs an intensive course in how to greet and serve customers or maybe she should choose a different profession.....the pub deserves better.

One of the busiest pubs in Conwy. Great cask ales always on top form, friendly staff, comfortable seating inside or outside. A lovely place to sit with a glass of beer and watch the boats on the river and the thriving quayside.

Great place to land and raise a glass of your favourite tipple after a day out in North Wales. Lovely surroundings outside the pub make this a special place to drink all year round.

Looks out over the harbour, cosy in winter. Full range of beverages and space to sit inside and outside. When he is not banned you might see Drew Pritchard from Salvage Hunters He has a shop just up thr street

The pub itself is lovely and quaint however the manager (a short woman with a bob hair cut) is a complete stick in the mud. Went to watch the England match vs Sweden and ended up just getting harassed by the manager to move away from the entrance constantly. Customers told not to stand by the "side" of the bar all the time even though the bar comprises of a bar that encompasses a corner, And blocked later in the day from even entering due to "bar ques" even though the pub was absolutely deserted inside! Absolutely horrible service from the manageress but amazing service from her staff that seemed to sympathise with the average person trying to just have a pint. Expensive for what you get. Plastic. Shame considering its called the Liverpool arms.

My wife and I called in for a drink after walking there from the marina I asked if they were showing the England/Sweden football game on the tv, to which the bar girl replied “ they won’t be showing the sh**y English game.

This pub is located on the quay with great views across the bay. Beer was okay, although served in plastic glasses if drinking outside.

Superb pint of Conwy Brewery California; only problem was, they had run dry of this on our second night in Conwy!!

After a tiring morning touring Conwy, we stopped in for a few drinks. The bar tender was extremely friendly and welcoming...the free Wi-Fi worked great...and the prices were reasonable...

Love this pub right on the quayside. Great when the weather is nice. Sit out on the benches across the road taking in the view of Deganwy drinking out of a plassy "glass". can`t beat it.

Had a drink outside facing the bay but as it got chilly out of the sun went inside. Had to have plastic glasses outside. Inside is small and very cosy with a large well stocked bar with lots of heritage decor . The seats are clustered into two areas both with large TVs which don’t detract from its period charm . Toilets off main room opposite bar very accessible.

We visited for a drink on a gorgeous day. The bar has a limited range but my beer was fine. They have some tables outside so it's a nice spot on a hot day and the beer was cold.

On a warm day the Liverpool is a great quayside pit-stop venue. Slightly pricey drinks but understandable on a hot sunny Sunday

Called in for a refreshing pint of cold lager after walking from west shore Llandudno. Great location and cosy friendly place. Will definitely be back again.

It's all about the harbour here, inside is comparatively small and dark in this traditional ale house, probably cozy in winter with an open fire. Lots of locals chatting about boats inside and every table full outside. Friendly staff rushed off their feet - nice place to have a breather.

i visited here for a quick drink with a friend after being around the castle and the walls. it is situated very nicely on the promenade front with a few benches and a nice large pathway area and an ice cream stall opposite the pub. later on visited this pub on a tuesday evening and joined in with the pub quiz that was on which they had made a half decent effort on organising with other customers.i would visit here again
