A great choice for dining if you want a non-noisy restaurant. Food was excellent as was the service. Fish and Chips great as was my blue cheese and vegetable pie. A lovely place to meet up with friends for lunch/dinner. Closes 9pm

Really lovely restaurant, the food was delicious and high quality. It definitely was home cookin! Good vegetarian selection, the filo parcels were excellent not greasy at all. Some of us had the set menu of 2 course for £20.

We visited this fabulous restaurant on two evenings in December. The food was excellent, as were the staff. There was a really good selection on the menu. We will certainly be going again.

Visited Home Cookin' in Llandudno several times during the first weekend of January 2025. The food was absolutely delicious and all the staff were extremely helpful and polite. Would definitely recommend and return next time we're in North Wales.

Cozy and warm atmosphere and great service.

Nice atmosphere and cosy. Husband had salmon and I had ham, salad and chips. We also ordered bottle of wine for £16. The meal I had was just what I felt like but may be odd to some!! It was plain, honest home cooked food and was nice. I would go again

Great little place.Me and my wife went there on a recommendation from a B&B peer we were staying with. We wernt disappointed we both had a Sunday roast very enjoyable.

Always use Home Cookin, never had a bad meal, but went today and had the Fish And Chips, the fish was not hot and for the very first time was not crisp. We will return but thought you would appreciate our honest feedback.

Hmm service did let this place down, young lady wasnt really attentative to our needs, no glass with a bottle of beer, said they dont sell the right size bottles of water only 330ml? But that is the right size, isnt it, no ice or lemon with water, not even looking at us when taking our money, sorry we wont be back.

I ordered the fish pie, accompanied with veg. The pie was nice but the first mouthfull was steaming hot and I burnt the top of my mouth, so much so it caused a big blister and a very sore mouth. I mentioned it to the waitress and asked her to warn others. No apology was given! NOT the best experience and I certainly won't be returning.

Whenever we go to Llandudno we visit Home Cookin for food and we’re never disappointed. This time we both had roast beef which was fab followed by apple & blackberry crumble with custard, all food was delicious & staff are always very friendly.

We had a fantastic meal here, the staff are so friendly, the food really was delicious, and we were surprised by how reasonable the pricing was. I think you should definitely book before you go, but booking was very simple and we got the time we wanted really easily.

Good portions, good price & lovely staff. Salmon with sweet potato fries went down a treat with my house red.

Popped in for lunch for 2, baked potato with cheese & bacon, fish & chips and 2 drinks £36. Food was nice, lots on the menu, although soft drinks selection is a bit limited. Would visit again and try something different. Seems popular with those of a certain age, who are regulars so guessing the quality of the food is consistent.

I had the sweet potato curry,the last time I went the meal came with potato wedges and was £15.99,this time it had gone up to £16.99 and no potato wedges and the curry wasn't up to its usual standard,very disappointing as I usually love going there...

Stayed nearby and found this on our 2nd night, we ate here for the rest of our week. Can not praise enough, the food is very high quality home made dishes, highly recommend the garlic mushroom, Brie wedges , and black pudding starters, mains, fish and chips, roast lamb, lasagna, burgers, chicken……all fabulous meals….now for desserts OMG, the chocolate fudge cake, cheesecake and pavlova…..were all amazing. The staff were excellent, we booked and glad we did as very busy, staff even rang me to say our table was ready half hour earlier if we wanted, which suited us …. If you want beautiful, tasty well cooked homemade food…this is the place, thank you for your hospitality, it made our break special.

This is great for good home style food . 3 young staff are brilliant attentive and friendly We loved it so much we went back 2 nights running ,always full so book to secure a table

Lovely restaurant we had the gammon meal and the cheese cake and apple crumble for dessert all were very good and the staff were friendly and helpful we will be calling again soon .

My family and I were on holiday for a week in August. We absolutely love everything about this place and ate there 3 evenings. Nowhere else even came close.

Food was excellent, asked if we could move table as cold, no problem to them.

Two out of our four nights in Llandudno we had dinner here. It is advisable to book as people were constantly trying to get a table. Good home cooking, plenty of it and fresh vegetables. The Welsh beef burgers were delicious and the second time we had steak and ale pie and chicken curry (I'm told it was very tasty). Nice friendly efficient staff, tables were stripped down and cleaned fully before the next sitting. We will definitely be back again when we next come to Llandudno.

Excellent food at a reasonable price, good service with polite staff. Best to book in advance if you can although you can sometimes still get in as a walk in.

Visited for brunch today, ordered a traditional breakfast, a vegetarian breakfast, and extras for the child with us. We were served two traditional breakfasts, and the extras were on a plate too hot to touch (whichwas bizarre, as they had given the child a plastic cupto drink from). I had to send the traditional back, and she apologised for the mistake. When the bill came, I was charged for two traditional breakfasts and a vegetarian one, which wasn't clear until I asked for an itemised receipt (they only gave me the summary receipt when asked). I was told it was because I'd "changed my order." If that was so, why did they take it away? If I am to pay for something, the table should be given the opportunity to eat it. The food was nice, but the service wasn't. If you were to go, I'd double-check your bill.

Gorgeous evening meals for myself and my husband, we were advised to book as this restaurant gets incredibly busy. We ate early evening and they had limited availability but within minutes of us arriving the restaurant was full.

First time visit. Had a really good steak and my friend had lovely fish and chips ( really thick piece of fish). Good service and reasonable prices. Will definitely return. Would recommend booking as the restaurant is both small and popular !

We visit Llandudno every year and we always make sure that a visit to home cooking is included. The staff are extremely helpful and the food is delicious. We mainly opt for the Sunday lunch which is just fantastic, followed by a delicious dessert. Best restaurant in Llandudno! Fully recommend

Sat outside in the beautiful sunshine. Very friendly & welcoming staff. The food was delicious and the service was fast. Definitely recommend eating here.

Lovely spot to have a bite. The servers were busy but attentive. The food was just ok. We had the slat and pepper quid which were fab, served with a sweet chilli sauce, which we felt was wrongly paired, maybe an aioli instead. Hubby had fish and chips and I had the Sea bass on the daily specials menu. His fish was done nicely with ample batter and nice chips. My sea bass was on the small side, just plainly seasoned with salt and pepper. Prices were about right for the area, but nothing special in my opinion. Hope your meals were awesome.

Our place to eat when we visit. Having a dog with us, means we sit outside, however this only enhanced our experience even more. The staff are friendly and the food is phenomenal. Garlic mushrooms 🍄 perfect, deep fried brie wow, lamb roast dinner amazing. Apple and blackberry crumble out of this world 🌎. Thank you to all the staff and the Chef for the amazing food.

Our first time here, very disappointed about our meal ,sea bass at £16.99 was so small and over cooked very overpriced, my husband had sausage and mash baby carrots that weren't they were just the tips cut off normal carrots and the sausage were again over cooked and tasteless won't be back again.

I have very mixed feelings of our experience at Home Cookin. Came to Llududno with the family as we have done in the past and love the atmosphere and welcoming friendly nature of the locals. The service and accommodation to sit outside with our dog was great, the starters we had were nice, particularly the squid and garlic mushrooms. However the garlic bread with mozzarella whilst had plent of cheese, lacked any real seasoning or flavour of garlic. Our mains were where we were left very disappointed. Whilst the kids chose to have roast dinners and sausage and mash and were happy with their choices, the main grilled sea bass and grilled cod were very expensive for the portion that left my husband leaving still hungry( his sea bass was smaller than a side fillet of mackeral), and the veg and potatoes were so bland and tasteless. The plates were mainly filled with potatoes and nearly £17 per portion for grilled fish, we felt very ripped off at the portion size and lack of any real flavour and felt we were paying for cheap potatoes with no flavour, especially my steamed potatoes. Service itself was quick and polite. The mains claiming to be daily specials of fish at a seaside town definitely need improvement, you cannot rely solely on great location to run a business long term. Ourselves would not revisit this restaurant due to portion sizes, prices and whilst I could overlook these things for great tasting food, that was not the case here.

Simply the best food in town. True to its name: home cooked and tasty.

Nice food, however I was slightly disappointed that the soup and sandwhich option was not an option for myself due to me needing gluten free bread. I settled for the Jacket potato with Prawns and marie rose dressing, very enjoyable.

Food is OK, much too expensive for what you get and can get nearby. I got the Lamb roast upsized to big roast and it was still just 4 thin slices of roast with loads of veg and potatoes as if to compensate. The fried potatoes were good at least, though the additional potatoes were steamed not fried. I can get a lot more meat for a lower price at nearby South Asian and Turkish places. The staff were friendly and polite but there weren't enough of them, so the service suffered. I was left waiting several times. Really need to hire more staff.

Absolutely first class service , staff are lovely , polite , and very welcoming , the food is brilliant and served with a smile , i highly recommend this lovely place , we stayed in lladudno for 3 nights and had our meal here for all 3 nights and will always book this place when i return

Absolutely fantastic. Food from 1 to 5 starts, I give 10 stars. Service absolutely perfect. Every course clean cutlery and serviette. Ambient absolutely comfortable.

Walked in with half a dozen empty two seat tables. Asked for a table of 4. Told we can sit outside fairly coldly and curtly. So we left. Ain't nothing like abit of old fashioned customer service to encourage you to spend at an establishment.

Home cooking was booked up e cept for walk ins. We got lucky. Food was home cooked, fresh, and beautifully presented

Very disappointed table booked for 8.30 having been told that was earliest we could get in arrived to almost empty restaurant served very quickly with food not up to standard staff clearing tables and preparing to close apparently closing time was 9 which were told when booking when we asked to speak to manager we told not available we could get a comment card felt as we were a nuisance booked a taxi and left as soon as possible we were in and out in under 45 minds will not recommend and will not visit again.

Booked for lunch today. I had turkey dinner and my wife had roast beef. The food was excellent and plentiful. The vegetables were cooked to perfection. Service was really quick and hardly any waiting for our food to arrive. I would definitely recommend eating in and would certainly return.

Visited in June ate here for five nights never having the same meal as the menu is so extensive. Food is lovely and the service is great. Always eat here when visiting Llandudno.

Called in on off chance without booking and they accommodated us within 5 minutes. Staff were really helpful. We both had roast dinners, I had beef & wife had lamb. There was plenty of meat & the separate veg was fresh. We finished off sharing a fruit cheesecake. Really nice. Would definitely recommend booking in advance as some were turned away.

We were recommended by our hotel to try here, and so glad we did. Lovely restaurant, with attentive friendly staff. We ordered the lamb and turkey roast dinners and they were both out of this world. Portions were good fresh vegetables, succulent meat and the roast potatoes were beautiful. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Llandudno, thank you, keep up the good work.

We stayed in Llandudno for two days and this great restaurant was on the opposite side of the road near our hotel. It was so good we didn't look for any other option for our second night. Delicious meals and reasonably priced. Best steak pie I have ever had! We will visit Llandudno again just to dine there. The staff are lovely too. It is best to book as it is very popular.

Knowing we were holidaying in Llandudno and how popular Home cooking was we booked a few weeks in advance - Monday and Wednesday. Monday we both had a roast which we couldnt fault but on Wednesday the bread which came with the soup was so hard it wasn't edible, when we complained we were told the chef left it in the oven too long. Lasagne was ordered with a side order of chips. Less than half was edible, the rest were either flat or just bits. When we complained we were given a Complaints form to fill in. I don't know what good that was to us, a slight discount would have been acceptable. We don't mind paying for good food but on this occasion we were very disappointed

Visited here with my mum for evening meal during our 3 night stay in Conwy. Staff were all really polite and the menu is varied with lighter options (jacket potato/salads) which was much needed in the hot weather. Creme brulee was delicious and my mum enjoyed her ice cream. Would return, booking recommended as not many tables inside.

We visited at lunch time today the food is excellent and the staff are friendly and welcoming. I honestly couldn’t fault the roast beef dinner I had. Dessert and coffee was also lovely. Would definitely recommend and will visit next time Iam in the area.

Fantastic place. Stopped here for lunch on a quiet Thursday. Great menu with lots of choice, all the food was really top quality. Even the deserts were clearly freshly made.

If you are looking for a decent fried English breakfast, that's the place to visit. We decided to have a full English and a full Veggie. The hashbrowns were crunchy and yet soft inside and my veggie sausages were cooked to perfection. I usually get veggie sausages so dry that I can hardly cut it. The service was excellent and the place is nice and spacious.

The roast is still delicious, and it’s a good deal to upgrade to a larger portion by adding more than a pound!

This was our first visit ti Llandudno and the restaurant was recommended. The food, staff and ambience was absolutely sensational. I would recommend this establishment to anyone who wants superb cooked food at what I think is reasonable prices.

We went there two days ago, it was a pretty busy Saturday, the food were delicious, but the service could be better, the staff were rude.

I think the fact that it is hard to get a table here is the highest recommendation. Whatever you order seems to always come out perfect, the staff are always polite and helpful, it's just got a lovely feeling to it. Can highly recommend.

For my Main course I had salmon fillet with salad and sweet potato fries. Salmon was small but the main problem was the fries which were overcooked and lacking in content. They were mainly small,, thin and crispy with very little potato . I complained to the waitress immediately. She took them back to the kitchen but returned with the same chips and the excuse that these were the only ones available as they had changed to another supplier….. hardly Home Cookin!!!!

The food was fantastic. And we had a great service. All great stuff.

Went on a lovely spring afternoon with glorious weather. Ate outside under cover and the sun was just right. Drinks and food were ordered quickly and although they were still busy'ish the food came out fast and piping hot. We had the roast lamb and steak'n ale pie. Portion size was good and everyone was full. Did not cost the earth for the total bill and it was excellent value for money. Staff made themselves available quickly even though we were outside. Nothing stood out to me whilst dining here but I would come back again. You just know that what you order it will be good, gives that kind of vibe that customers matter and quality is paramount to them. Well done.

I had the soup and a sandwich, the homemade mushroom soup was delicious and the sandwiches were very fresh and had lots of filling

Good lamb hotpot and red cabbage. Would have preferred the bread as it comes rather than it cut in two chunks and then very lightly toasted which gave the impression that it was yesterday's leftovers which I'm it wasn't. Didn't like the background music.

Lovely place to visit. My husband had the roast lamb and I had the bangers and mash. Both absolutely delicious. I really wanted a dessert as they looked amazing, but I was too full. Will definitely be re-visiting.
