Love the milkshakes and a great variety of ice cream

My daughter and her friends visited for some birthday treats. The service was great, young man who served us at the till was polite and well organised, and the treats were delicious. All the children enjoyed it. We had our own space at the back, with lovely Alice in wonderland decor. It was busy there today, great atmosphere.

Not as nice as it used to be, staff not very welcoming. Asked a memeber of staff for a couple of plates so the children could share the platter and I had a look of confusion. Wouldn't bother wasting my money. also the place is looking shabby and dirty.

Al llegar el esfuerzo puesto en la decoración del lugar fue increíble. ¡Especialmente las pantallas de la tetera! Fue increíblemente acogedor y el personal era acogedor y servicial. En nuestra pequeña cabina había incluso un juego de cartas que podíamos jugar! Desafortunadamente, la única desventaja fue que nuestros chocolates calientes estaban fríos a la piedra para cuando nos los sirvieron. Aparte de eso tuvimos una experiencia muy positiva.

¡La actitud del personal es horrible pero feliz de tomar su dinero! Entonces te diré que básicamente te vayas. Estamos cerrando y te daré vasos de papel. Obviamente, ¡tengo prisa por salir por la noche! Como cliente de Fourtes desde hace más de 50 años, nunca volveré a la heladería. Nunca me han tratado de una manera tan vergonzosa dos jóvenes que los modales dejan mucho que desear y también las vimos a las dos riéndose de nosotras cuando nos fuimos. Obviamente tampoco local. Mi oedd hwyn yn lle arbennig ond dim rhywan lle defrifol o wael nawr 👎 ¡Deberías avergonzarte, pero no te importa como dijiste!

Nuestro café favorito 'The Loaf' estaba cerrado, así que vinimos aquí. Tan pronto como nos sentamos y sentimos la mesa pegajosa y los menús Imt marido y yo queríamos irnos. Fui a echar un vistazo a los helados y el vaso estaba sucio, los soportes de pastel estaban sucios. Pero tenemos un adolescente al que le gustaba un gofre de burbujas con helado. Nuestra hija dijo que era agradable. A la media hora se sintió enferma y se estaba repitiendo en ella y más tarde estaba enferma. Ella nunca sufre de que nada se repita en ella o esté enferma. Nunca volveremos.

Great experience for me and my partner. Delicious and fresh ice cream. The prices were fantastic for two deserts and a drink. The aesthetics were on point for a bookish Alice in wonderland theme.

Staff were very attentive and friendly despite the place being busy and the ice creams were amazing and enjoyed by all in our family.

All glass is dirty and coffe looks like water , table is dirty and my hand gluying to worktop. Never again am use this place to drinking coffe

Loved this place They’ve gone with Alice in wonderland theme + rolled with it! Everywhere had something quirky to look at We had icecream, milkshake + crepes They were all delicious, fantastic selection of flavours of icecream + lots of toppings Staff were friendly and helpful Will definitely visit again and recommend

Outside is so untidy and inside needs a good clean it's so bad it never used to be like that sort it out

The best kept secret in Llandudno! A definite must if you can get a table! Such a great place to be and spend the afternoon working your way through a shared platter of deliciousness, reminiscing about a glorious book partly written in Llandudno and enjoying the excellent service and atmosphere!!! 5 stars for sure!!!

Good service and good ice cream/shakes/smoothies. Google won't let me edit this, but in summer they close at 9pm. Winter hours are different (earlier). PS banana espresso works surprisingly well as a milkshake flavor

Visited here the other day with my family. Every single dish was made to absolute perfection, the staff were also extremely friendly and helpful when it came to the ordering process. Although the place was busy, the staff were continuously serving and delivering orders with a smile on their face. We ordered a plethora of crepes, waffles and brownie specials (yummy) all of which looked DELICIOUS, all with a go good serving of ice cream, toppings and sauce (all of which were our own personal choice!!) Along with the beautiful and unique decor of the restaurant, it made this experience a 10/10, we will definitely be back soon!!

Very sickly, but scrummy the indoor is dark but very welcome in a Alice the wonderland style. Lots of different varieties ice creams and drinks. Only things I say is the seating outside is very unstable and not ideal for disabled/ wheelchair people but outside with no undercover. Overall good place to visit for ice-cream

Brought my family in here after hyping it up for the longest time! And they definitely lived up to the hype, our food was delicious. It was fairly busy in there but the staff were all happy and the service was amazing! My family and I also love the fact that they do take home tubs!! No more flavourless factory made stuff for us 😂 Overall a great experience and we cannot wait to come back!

Visited here a few days ago with my partner. Everything was made to perfection, the staff were extremely helpful and really friendly. It was extremely busy with a que out the door, although it looked stressful the staff were still serving with a smile and the place was clean and the decor in the Looking Glass is beautiful. 10/10 we will definitely be back!

Avoid at all costs. This place is dirty, no idea how it managed a 3 hygiene certificate. Plenty of other ice cream parlours in Llandudno.

Nice little place for ice cream I had the affogato, which is rather lovely We arrived just as they were closing. I didn’t actually realise but they served us anyway. THANKS GUYS

Finally got to come here as last few times I had wanted to was closed for refurbishment. All things Alice in wonderland was very exciting for me I loved the decor and the references all around. We had the sharing plate as it was just so much choice. The girl that served us was very timid but sweet, I think she was just being trained up and not sure how to take our order. The choice of ice cream was good we had galaxy caramel, chocolate peanut and Turkish delight and then topping’s and sauces which were a bit stingy to be honest, paid an extra pound for biscoff but couldn’t taste it there was very little of it. Just 3 little pots of ice cream for a sharing plate that serves 4 was also quite tight for the price. The pancake and waffle was delicious and fresh but just not enough toppings and sauce. I had a strawberry milkshake with strawberry jam ice cream on top which was amazing, made with oat milk so was much easier for my stomach as I usually lactose free wherever possible. Really wanted to try the Parma violet ice cream so will definitely come back.

We enjoyed lots of crepes, waffles and ice creams here. I loved my banana split with yogurt, fruit, honey and granola.

Wife had a double scoop of Battenberg and strawberry I think and I had the rum and raisin on a hot waffle, I have never had a hot waffle or a home made ice cream and now I am converted. Staying at a Cottage in N. Wales for a week we decided on a day trip to Llandudno. After eating dinner at a Fish & Chip shop that shall remain nameless, we were just wandering around and found The Looking Glass. Having a bit of a sweet tooth, it looked ideal. We went in and were met with an amazing array of Ice cream flavours and tempting desserts. we eventually managed to decide what we wanted and ordered. The guy serving ( David..... great name ) was really friendly and helpful, very patient with our autistic son who was a bit overwhelmed with the choice and struggled to decide. We paid for our food and drinks. I thought we'd been undercharged as I expected the Bill to be higher. It's when you start eating that you realise just how good this place is. Absolutely superb. Battenberg flavour Ice Cream? Unbelievably good. The Coffees were really good too. This place is an absolute gem. If you enjoy a bit of ice cream, waffle, crepe or anything along those lines, then do yourself a favour and JUST GO THERE!! Pleasure meeting you Dave, Good luck with everything. *Arnie voice..... Apple ice cream is really nice iced coffee needs some thing extra. Seating is individually devided of.

You can't go to the seaside and not have an ice cream. So why not go somewhere that makes the stuff on site and has a really wide range of flavours. The Parma violet was my favourite, the wife loved the blueberry one. But there were probably 15 different ones to choose from.

Best ice cream in town. Great selection which varies daily and I am told is made on site. Gets very busy in the summer which can slow down the speed of service and table clearing. I can personally recommend the Rum and Raisin and Mango, which has refreshing pieces of fruit inside.

Lovely dessert parlour, loads of choice and really good decor! Highly reccomend!

Came here for a day trip. The price for one ice cream scoop is a tad pricey but fair. But most importantly was the sheer lack of service just for tea. Others were getting served with FOOD and when we arrived before them. Disappointing ! Not to add the double charge for tea which we got refunded if we had not clocked the receipt.

Oh MY GOSH WHAT HAPPEND TO THIS LOVELY PLACE , WENT YESTERDAY 12TH MARCH. IT USED TO OPEN BRIGHT PLACE , WITH LOVELY TABLES AND TEA POTS. WITH A LOVELY SELECTION OF WAFFLES, PANCAKES , ICE CREAM. NOW ITS DARK DINGEY WITH AWFUL SEATING BAYS AND NOT AS NICE SELECTION OF PRODUCTS TO EAT.. WILL NEVER GO AGAIN , BEFORE THIS CHANGE WE WENT OFTEN, THINK IT MUST OF CHANGED HANDS ,,,,, PITTY.

Drawn in by the Alice in Wonderland theme and so glad we were. Lovely place for a sweet treat. Fabulous decor, friendly staff, and the tastiest desserts. I am now craving Turkish delight ice cream 🍦. Will definitely be back, just don't tell my diabetic nurse shush.

What a lovely, quirky place! We went here for an ice cream. They make the ice-cream on site and have some delicious flavours. I had a waffle with a Scoop of peanut butter, strawberries, chocolate sauce and Chopped nuts. Deeeelicious! Apart from milk shakes, tea and coffee, cakes are on offer. The staff very friendly. Will definitely visit again when I'm in the area. Thank you.

Visited llandudno as part of a coach trip. A couple in our coach party recommended this place as they had been during the trip and enjoyed it. It did not disappoint! Very tasty. Chose banana split. The staff were so friendly. There are little games you can do whilst waiting for your food (perfect for if you have little ones)

I ordered a crèpe with lemon and sugar, and a crèpe with nutella. The one with lemon had a bit to much of lemon on it. The one with nutella was better. The prices are quite decent.

Decided to make use of my remote working days and came here with my laptop for a little treat to myself! I enjoyed the best waffle and ice cream ever! Perfect atmosphere to focus on my work whilst enjoying a special treat. Staff are super friendly and the ice cream is to die for. I’ll be back tomorrow to work again for a few hours! The fact the ice cream is made with love and passion on site makes it the best, unique, ice cream parlour in Llandudno with such a lovely family friendly vibe! Don’t go anywhere else!

Took my granddaughter on a wet and windy day. Delicious hot chocolate to warm us up. I had an enormous waffle with strawberries and cream. My granddaughter had a child's size crepe with chocolate ice cream, brownie pieces and marshmallows to top with chocolate sauce. She thoroughly loved it. Wish I lived a bit closer to become a regular

Best desert place I've ever been to, whimsical Alice and wonderland theme, amazing range of deserts and lovely staff, 10/10! ❤️❤️

Cannot fault the food, drink or service in here! We were enjoying sitting outside with our bubble waffles, ice cream, and drinks, only problem was the locals and by locals I mean the seagulls! One swooped on our daughter and stole some waffle and ice cream, but can’t fault the staff as one lovely guy came running out to help us, he after helping clean up the destruction from the seagull went back in brought her an ice cream and a coke as I’d threw her coke on the seagull to try get rid of it. Another few minutes passed by and he came out again with a whole replacement waffle and complete with all the toppings she had! So a huge thank you to the staff you were amazing!

Nice ice cream free from seagulls. We came here after reading the reviews. We were happy with our choices.

Visited this place just after some ice cream as a well needed sweet treat. Good things: 1) decor and feel; very cool and thematic 2) price of the sharing dish, felt like you was getting a good deal 3) games available to you whilst you wait Could be better: - staff were brilliant but there wasn’t enough available to ensure everyone could order something other than ice cream - toppings could be better quality as they tasted slightly plain Would recommend the ice cream 100% if you go to this area

Very good service, fantastic deserts, and things to play with for children at some tables. Toilet would do some upgrade (so as 70% of UK business ones :) Highly recommended!

Good and some unusual choice of flavours of ice cream and sobets, great combinations available - waffles crepes real fruit smoothies and even better- gluten free crepes available. Was busy today but friendly staff were efficient, and very clean premesia. Prices reasonable.Thankyou for a lovely experience.

Me and my partner tried this place as we wanted to see if they were as good as Forte well we know to come here if you want an ice cream that is actually made on site in house there are no ice crystals so you know the ice cream has been made in perfect conditions I had a knickerbocker glory with a mixed berry ice cream mixed with raspberry ripple with all the toppings I have posed a picture too when I tasted it the flavours exploded in my mouth and it was a very very good eating experience one I suggests everyone who likes ice cream make sure you pop in as it’s also family run The inside is very clean and the decor inside is all about Alice in wonderland they supply crayons for the kids to do some colouring etc Well done guys I’m coming back tomorrow!!!

Walked in at 8:30pm when they were just doing ice cream cones or tubs which was perfect as it was all we were after! A fantastic large selection of flavours and at a good price. Amazing tasting ice cream and very large scoops too. I had Ferrero Rocher and Salted Caramel and my fiancée 2 scoops of Malteaser. We loved all of the flavours and would 100% come back for more.

Absolutely amazing place.. The decor, the ambience, the menu, the flavours, the taste, the staff..all absolutely amazing.. The ice creams are eggless. Didnt try crepes or any drinks, but I believe they too would be good. Best part, for one scoop you can choose two different flavours, half of each.. We had 2 scoops with 4 flavours.. and all were delicious.. Lemon curd, salted caramel, honeycomb and chocolate orange... My favorite was lemon curd, new and exciting. The staff are very friendly and the place has things to keep kids entertained. The decor is all on the theme of Alice in Wonderland, popular kids' story book. Would love to go there again..

The pancakes were amazing!!! The staff need to practice patience when a customer is deciding on what to order instead of coming across as irritated and making comments that make the customer look stupid. You have a good set up there. Don’t ruin that by lacking professionalism.

We enjoy time there. Reasonable price. Great pancakes with lot choice. And latte was as perfect taste like I like. I feeld koffe. Next time we'll visit this place again.

Fab place - we go there a lot. Atmosphere is amazing, with unusual playful interior, games for kids etc. Waffles, crepes and ice cream are great, decent coffee too.

The homemade vegan ice cream was absolutely amazing. I had the banana & oreo, raspberry lemonade and Berry sorbet. They were the best ice creams I have had as a vegan by far! We will definitely be back. Such a great selection. Thank you for catering to everyone :)

This ice cream parlour has changed hands and been redesigned in an American style. Walked in looking forward to a really good experience. The seats were sticky, the table dirty and the menu was a breeding ground for germs. Walked out without ordering. Hygiene levels and a deep clean a priority. Sorry but will not visit again,

Popped in this afternoon 6/2/23 while my friend went for a run, I’ve always wanted to visit but been put off previously by how busy it can get, it was very very quiet (I was the only one there for a period of time) which as a fellow hospitality worker I know is both a blessing and a frustration. The staff were all lovely and keeping busy probably preparing for the onslaught of half term. I had the cream tea and it was delicious, the scone was fresh and everything presented beautifully. A good choice of music playing and wonderful decor. Keep doing what you’re doing because it’s working wonders for you! I will return with my friends and family in future, Thankyou :)

The weather wasn't up to much so we decided to have a mooch around Llandudno town center. As it got to lunch time we thought it would be better to get something to eat at a local cafe/coffee shop rather than one of the big chains. So glad we did. As we were walking in to The Looking Glass we spotted the ice-cream tea being served to a couple at a table, and after checking with the staff what it was, we decided to have the same ourselves. I won't lie, it wasn't cheap, but for what we got it was reasonable value. Everything seemed to be home made rather than bought in, and was delicious. We can definitely recommend The Looking Glass, especially if you have the Ice-cream tea.

The most delicious desserts in town! Call in when you're passing or make a special trip if you aren't and receive a really warm welcome from the lovely ladies that work here. You simply must try the lemon drizzle cake, smothered in warm berries, with a side dish of ice-cream - it's to die for!

Really lovely. Scones were beautiful, fresh and warm. The vanilla ice cream was the best I've ever had.
