The best restaurants serving British food in Gogarth Conwy North Wales

I've come to visit several times, and the vibe is great. I love the cakes (bergamot and honey was gorgeous) and plan to come back more times. I only wish it had a larger selection of herbal teas, considering it's a botanical café.

We were visiting Llandudno for the day and we’re looking for food. We were a bit late in the afternoon and all the hotels had stopped serving food to non guests. A quick Google search and Darcie’s popped up! Upon arrival we were stood outside weighing the place up and a couple came out. The lady said “go in it’s great in there” so we did. Great it was! We were initially greeted by two young ladies. We were very impressed with the warm welcome and their genuine engagement with us. So many times with young staff you feel as if you’re interrupting their chat or social media time but these two enjoyed their work and wanted us to have a great time. It was so refreshing. The food order was taken and it arrived not too long after. Delicious, tasty, nicely presented and appropriately priced. We are vegetarians and there was a good choice at Darcie’s. We can’t highly recommend it enough and we will be back for sure. Thank you all for a pleasant food experience

We stayed here for one night after attending the theatre. We booked a meal for 5pm on a Tuesday. We sat outside and had a very pleasant experience. There was a good atmosphere sitting in the sun. We both chose a pizza and have to say it was possibly the best pizzas both of us have ever had, and we've enjoyed pizzas in Italy. The merlot was also excellent. We stayed over in room 3 and it was a lovely spacious room with everything you may need. Breakfast was great too. We felt well attended and well looked after. I would totally recommend a stay over. Just a 15 minute wander down the promenade to venue cymru.

I booked a table here on the recommendation of the B & B where I was staying and the food was very enjoyable. I ordered the grilled salmon fillet, drizzled in a creamy tarragon hollandaise sauce and some dressed salad. The meal is served with sweet potato fries but, as I didn’t want any fries, I asked for extra salad. The salmon fillet was not overly large and the salad was actually quite small, especially considering that I’d not had the sweet potato fries. At £17.99, I felt the ratio of portion size to price could have been better.

Nuestra última visita fue en noviembre para mi padre - en - leyes 80 cumpleaños. El personal es siempre amable y estamos encantados de que decoremos la mesa con la parafernalia 80 durante la tarde. También nos permitieron dejar un pastel de cumpleaños como sorpresa para el cumpleañero. Huelga decir que la comida era espectacular y el servicio era de primera clase. En general, todos tuvimos una noche fabulosa... Muchas gracias por cuidarnos. Volveremos en mayo (aún no reservado). Esperemos que antes de que se vaya el próximo 'Amigo'. Town House as always has a fantastic atmosphere especially when you have the Scooter Rallys on, Karaoke on Sat & Sun. Great fun

After being a loyal customer for years at the Empire and then the Osborne, we have been refused a booking for 12 people as we might be noisy and disturb the other diners! We originally tried to book the Osborne for 12 people 5 wks in advance but were told we could not book the table more than two weeks before the date! Then 10 days before the date we wanted, we were told that they would not accept a party greater than 8! If we’d been told that, when we made the original enquiry, we could have made alternative arrangements. I wanted to celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday, we are definitely not a rowdy group. We are now struggling to find somewhere suitable and will more than likely have to put off our celebration! So disappointed.

Large pub, good food and service, added advantage of being able to order food and drink from your table. Will definately be returning.

Great food and service but a little pricey.

The Queen Victoria is under new'ish management (Nov '24). But has kept the same friendly team of staff, plus a few new staff, who all go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your visit, whether it is just for a drink or two, or dinner. We had dinner here a few weeks ago and both thoroughly enjoyed our food and the welcoming atmosphere. Thanks Darren & Emma, Dave, James, Kieran, Abi, Ebony, Maz & Tia. Keep up the great work.
