We chanced upon this cafe whilst in the area. What a great find! We were served by a really friendly Italian chap, who was great with my kids. We went in for some elevenses tea and cake but ended up with sticky toffee pudding and custard, crumble and custard and a Victoria sponge. All we're delicious.

Arrived at 3:05 made eye contact with staff and told to take a seat. Left at 3:25 no one had come to take my order or even interact with me. Staff have plenty of time to chat with customers who are eating or who have paid but don't always pay attention to those who have just come in. This is not the first time this has happened. Previous visits have been okay following an excellent initial visit. Won't be going back.

Small wedding party, treated really well from entry to exit, thankyou Claire for looking after us, being so attentive, professional and friendly, we made the right choice coming here and would highly recommend, the food was delicious and beautifully presented. Thankyou for adding to make it such a special day ❤️

We can't say enough about Sunday lunch at Jaynes. Jayne and her staff were really friendly, the atmosphere was cosy and welcoming even though it was a quiet, wintery afternoon, The food was delicious, home cooked and with generous portions to say the least !! We couldn't manage pudding so Jayne sorted a 'take away pud' for us. We will definitely eat here again.

Went for brunch with friends. Ordered a cheese toastie, the worse toastie I've ever had. Plastic cheese that looked like melted plastic & tasted just as bad, bread as thin as paper & the toastie machine must have been smaller than the bread as only the middle of the bread was toasted the rest of the bread was just plain bread. Friends had sausage sandwiches which were just as vile.

Fantastic place for top notch nosh and hot and cold drinks. Pavement seating area for families with dogs. Great atmosphere, fantastic service and an amazing place to catch up with friends. Cakes are scrumptious! Is a must visit in Cardigan.

Sunday lunch here failed in no part. Service was exceptional, wonderfully happy, friendly staff eager to please. Food was fabulous quality. Disappointed to have just missed out on meat of choice for the roast as they'd sold out just as we ordered but beef and Welsh lamb were fabulous. Amazing Yorkshire puddings, even more amazing roast potatoes and veg cooked beautifully to leave some bite and crunch. Book early because there's not a lot of room for many covers. Quaint, small pub/ bistro. Can imagine it is very popular and books up quickly especially busier seasons.

This restaurant/pub is absolutely lovely, the staff are super attentive and friendly, the food is delicious, Sunday lunch is definitely recommended, just like your home-cooked one which we all no you can’t beat and the price isn’t too steep. We have a caravan close by and this is the pub the whole family goes to all the time when we’re down there. We have just booked for mother day.

The tastiest Sunday dinner I’ve had in a long time. Very well presented. Desserts were amazing, hence more than one just to try them. I recommend the mini pavlova with homemade lemon curd and fruit. Excellent service and a nice comfortable experience. Will definitely return with my extended family.

Stumbled across this gem whilst looking for somewhere to get a breakfast pre-9am which was difficult in Cardigan. This is a modern building embedded into the old castle site. Nice views of the tidal river from the panoramic windows. The cooked breakfast was a knockout and was served by a very friendly and welcoming young lady. Great breakfast , great service, smart surroundings. I will be back.
