Nine of us met for a get together after 64 years!! We were in primary school together. Although I have been to the Daffodil many times, this was the first time on a Saturday evening. The welcome was great, and were left to chat whilst deciding what everyone wanted. Only a few had starters, but they were rated 100%the main courses all came out together(how did they do that !!) Everyone rated the food as excellent. A wonderful 5 hours later we left, and everyone confirmed we would do the same again next year.thank you to everyone at the Daffodil for a great evening.

Wow. Simply astonished. A journey of scepticism followed by pure enlightenment. I entered the building a snow crab virgin, I left the building a snow crab connoisseur. Simply delicious & the best in south wales. Yours truly, zoidburg.

Had a delicious Sunday lunch with friends. Generous portions. Catered for both meat eaters and vegetarians. And the best salted caramel sauce ever!

Best food I have eaten in years , everything was perfect, staff, decor, even offered a blanket for the dog to lie on , separate area for people to eat with pets , the crab was amazing and so lovely to see a sweet menu with different choices instead of the norm on offer, we will certainly eat here again and bring the westie

Staff were very welcoming, especially pleased to see the dog. Seated in dog area which was pleasant and less busy than main dining area. Service was quick and efficient. Food was delicious, steak cooked perfectly and fabulous onion rings. Anything green/vegetables needs to be ordered separately but I suppose this reduces food waste and it’s quite clear in the menu, although it does push the bill up a bit. Cheesecake meringue desert was lovely (also huge). We all enjoyed and looking forward to returning.

Amazing and we will be back. You pay for what you get. You will not be disappointed. See you anon.

Whilst down in Wales from Nottingham, visiting friends, we had lunch at this charming restaurant. The food was fantastic but what struck me most was the excellent service we received, throughout, from both bar staff, waiting staff and the owner himself. Makes all the difference to an overall experience in my opinion! Well done Daffodil team!

What a find! We knew it had a good reputation but on entering the Daffodil you know you’ve found something a bit different. And prices do reflect that: but it’s all worth every penny. Our food was immense: I can see why people travel for the specials board. I had the Chilean King Crab: just amazing. The rest of my party was very happy with their choices too. Lovely ambience, great service and the owner, Alex is made for this business: clearly passionate about the place and the industry, he is knowledgeable and put a lot of thought into The Daffodil. We will be back - probably also staying in one of your shepherds huts with hot tubs!

Me and my girlfriend stayed in a shepherds hut (with a free upgrade to a bigger bed as it was not booked) we met Hugh on arrival he was very pleasant and welcoming, we ate at the restraunt 3 times, once for brunch and twice for dinner, each and everyone was amazing, Alex was very friendly and accommodating, as well as the other staff who remembered little things like our drinks orders from the night before also, the little touches made it all the better, the food is amazing didn’t have a bad dish and can’t recommend this place enough will be coming back.

Prawns had an ammonia/chlorine taste. We didn't mention it out of politeness but the kitchen came and asked why we left our starters. They tried a Prawn and agreed. Service was exceptional and they removed the starters from our bill and provided a complementary drink. Unfortunately my main came with a Prawn bisque which sadly I had been put off! So had to leave it after struggling through about a quater of it. Likely a supplier fault? Would go again but wouldn't go for seafood. Great range of beers and again, service was fantastic. Would have given an average review however, I didn't manage to eat very much considering the money spent.

We decided to go to the daffodil for their Wednesday burger night. We went in and the manager said we could take any seat. We sat down, and the manager gave us a menu each straight away. He took our drink orders within a couple of minutes. Then we ordered off the Wednesday burger menu. I had the chicken burger. My partner had the bacon burger. Chips were served with the burgers and we ordered a side of onion rings. Our food within 25 minutes which was very good. We both enjoyed our food. The onion rings were homemade. The food seemed very good quality. The price of the burgers served with chips was very reasonable. We would definitely recommend going on a burger Wednesday night.

Found the restaurant online based on reviews as we were staying close by. We visited the restaurant on Saturday May 25th (Table of 3 for lunch); immediately a friendly welcome as we walked through the door & shown to our table. The first thing you notice is that the restaurant is immaculately clean ranging from the restaurant its self, the tables to the toilets. Service provided was of some of the highest quality we have had in a long time as the lovely gentleman who took our orders was friendly, professional & knowledgeable about the menu. Menu has something for everyone including a specials board; we ordered drinks (Passion Fruit Martini, a pint of coke and a floating coffee plus additional drinks with desserts) and were very nice. For mains we ordered a full breakfast, a shepherd’s pie & a Rib Eye Steak. Freshley cooked food brought to your table; the full breakfast was filled with quality ingredients ranging from the bacon, sausages & mushrooms. The Rib Eye Steak was cooked medium rare as requested and was an excellently seasoned & tasty steak & The Shepherds pie was filled with lovely meat and veg. Desserts were exceptional, we find it difficult to find quality desserts in restaurants but these were stunning (ordered Crème Brulé Cheesecake, Pineapple with Coconut Cream & ice cream & Sticky Toffee Pudding.) The bill was £118.00 for two courses for 6 dishes (3 mains, 3 desserts & 6 drinks (A Martini, Floating Coffee, a pint of cider, a hot chocolate & 2 Cokes), some may find the bill high but the overall experience was well worth the money. I would recommend anyone to try this restaurant and you will not be disappointed, Quality Food, Quality Service & Quality Atmosphere what more can you ask for?

The Daffodil is a fabulous venue to eat at, but everyone says that about there favourite places, so what is different about here? The owners are just superb and are truly part of the local community, They joined all the local residents at a demonstration regarding a negative impact on another local business without hesitation and also supplied hot drinks for free to all the demonstrators! I also attend a free coffee morning that they run to raise money for local charities. It is rare to find a business with a heart and a conscience so please support them and enjoy the excellent experience they provide at The Daffodil - Thank you Alex and Bevan we will see you again soon!

We've visited a good number of times over the last couple of years and everything has always been second to none but it seems this is no more. We decided to book for mothers day this year and to say we were left disappointed is an understatement. I decided to have garlic mushrooms to start and these were served on a side plate you'd usually use to serve bread and temperature wise can only be described as stone cold. Next on to the main... I find it hard to figure out how a restaurant can get a Sunday dinner so wrong! The portion sizes were an absolutely joke and served on what can only be described as "kids plates" This consisted of two roast potatoes, smallest amount of meat, a teaspoon piece of stuffing and half a plate of vegetables with a drizzle of gravy and that is somehow the untimate roast according to the menu. I very kindly opted out of having desert after the disaster of the two courses that came before but my partner decided to have hers as she didn't partake in eating a cold starter. This was also sub-par in terms of portion size but was the best part of the whole meal. It's safe to say we won't be returning again or recommending anyone one wastes any hard earned cash at the Daffodil. £32 a head for three courses of that low quality is daylight robbery by anyone's standards!!

Went there for a birthday lunch. I’m quite a fussy veggie but they had great options (and not just a typical boring risotto), which I was impressed with and the dishes were really tasty. The drinks menu was fantastic and the service was brilliant - they even gave the birthday girl a free slice of cake. The only reason I’m giving it 4 and not 5 is because, for the starter sharing platter, there were only two small slices of sourdough which is definitely not enough for two people to mop up all the incredible Hummous that comes with it. But I would 100% recommend and visit again.

It’s been over 5 years since I last visited and Wow what a 360 degree turnaround as my last visit did not go well. Choose to meet up with a girlfriend here as impressed with website and menu choice (and She is still working close by). We were eating mid week out of holiday season so it was relatively quiet with only a few covers but still impressed to see a Specials Board. The main dining room was beautifully warm, light and welcoming. As was Bevin who looked after us throughout our stay, what a joyful Lady! A varied and interesting menu - we didn’t do Starters or Puddings but did enjoy the House Chai Latte, Hot Chocolate and Beetroot Latte instead! My request for ‘extra hot milk’ no issue. Our food was excellent! Chicken Katsu Curry, Spicy Halloumi Burger and House Salad. All nicely presented, Hot, full of flavour and went down a treat. So chuffed to have found another lovely Restaurant in the local area thats delivering at a high standard and so looking forward to returning in Mid November when the Daffodil reopens with their Festive Menus. 🙏 for a thoroughly splendid lunch.

Four of ate here recently. We were impressed by the lovely setting and the ambience of the restaurant. Service was good and friendly. However I have to say that we were a little disappointed by the food. Three of us ordered steak. I asked for a medium rare which was in fact cooked as a medium. The chips were bland and over large. Chips should be crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. These tasted of nothing. My partner had fish and chips and said he'd had better. The sorbet had lumps of ice in. Maybe it was a bad night.

Visited for Sunday lunch and to celebrate our recent engagement. Cannot fault this place! Sunday roast was immense, good portion size, good amount of gravy (which is crucial for my Northern fiance!) and everything cooked to perfection. Dessert was even better if I’m honest. The banoffee rice pudding was delicious and the cherry sorbet that came with the chocolate brownie was the perfect accompaniment. This is a popular destination with many recommendations so we went for our first visit for Sunday lunch today. A busy car park and full restaurant was promising - rather downhill from there on. Our table was somewhat on the small side and tucked into a dark corner. I had a view of the road and the village stores opposite whilst my partner had a view of the hoover and a stack of some spare chairs. I had booked via open table so suggest if you do try The Daffodil book directly and request a table overlooking the patio. We asked to be moved but there were no spare tables. The restaurant is ‘dog friendly’ - there were a lot of dogs lounging under tables - don’t visit if you don’t like dogs near your table whilst you dine. The young waitress was friendly and efficient but clearly under pressure with the busy service. We both ordered roast beef - sadly we were not offered an option on the cooking of the beef but perhaps we should have specified that we wanted ours rare. Reviews of The Daffodil praise the food. The classic Sunday lunch had positive features - fresh not overcooked vegetables, decent roast potatoes and well hung beef - not rare sadly. The horseradish sauce was curious - watery and over processed. As pub food goes the experience was OK but this was not a gastro pub experience and certainly not fine dining. If you visit do specify a table and be very proactive about your expectations for your meal. I am sure there were many happy diners at lunch today in other locations in the restaurant - however we did not particularly enjoy our experience so we slipped away quietly.

I returned to visiting the experience of eating out recently following the virus closures. For my brother and I , visiting to buy the meal he had promised me pre lock down, there was only one venue we could trust. The Daffodil Inn. I must admit it is always my hostelry of choice anyway, but I needed to be careful , as should we all. I was there for the great burger. good choices available , and brother Pete had a steak. Great quality , value and service were the order of the day. My dog was happy too. I have noticed the car park is always full . We visited during early September. 2021. The only other local venue of any is still closed. Has been for a while so really , to my mind the Daffodil provides everything I look for on any occasion . Highly recommended. Ate here at lunchtime. The place wasn't full & people were turning up without booking and getting a table. Very Covid aware with quite a long wait before we were let in & shown our booked table. The menu was interesting & perhaps sometimes overly adventurous. I had crispy belly pork as a starter which was small but enjoyable; my husband had prawns in a banana sauce which he did not enjoy at all. Luckily neither of us fancied the more exotic item on the main menu so settled for steak (for him) and ham & eggs (for me). The steak was the best he had ever eaten in a restaurant, while the ham was a very generous serving but with slightly overcooked eggs. I had poached pear to finish which wasn't as flavoursome as the ingredients on the menu indicated. Service was pretty slow, lunch took 2 hours.

We were looking for somewhere nice to eat as we were in the area for a week, and somebody suggested the daffodil. We called to book for the following evening and we managed to bag the last table. I’m so glad we were put onto this amazing restaurant because it was the nicest food we’d eaten all week, actually it’s the nicest place I’ve been to in a very long time! The decor is really beautiful and super cool, they were really friendly and all of the people working there made us feel welcome. My partner was buzzing that they had his favourite drink as it’s not sold everywhere so that was a bonus before we even got to the menu! Obviously we’d already perved at the menu all day and thought we’d decided what we were going to order, and obviously we had to stew over it again because everything looked so delicious and what if we pick the wrong thing!! Anyway, we (obviously) ordered what we’d originally planned on having and it was OUT OF THIS WORLD. I’m not a review type of person, but I feel like everyone should visit this restaurant if they’re in the area because you’ll come away from it so happy and not even wanting a before bed snack in case it ruins the taste memory I will definitely be back, the whole experience was 10/10. Not just great food, which of course is what you want, but the whole experience as soon as you walk though the door is pretty magical. I’ve been dreaming of that braised beef cheek ever since!!I forgot to take pics, only the 2 mains. Sorry but it was so good I forgot

While holidaying in the area we saw the reviews for this place and we booked for a Wednesday evening and while I was on the website I thought I'd book the Friday as well. Very Covid-19 safe & a lovely welcome from the front of house staff who were very informative of everything & said that there is now a new menu. The curried sweet potato & coconut soup was amazing & the beef cheeks just melt in the mouth. It no longer comes with mash & onion rings but now comes with beef dripping roast potatoes & as I've never tried the latter I think it would have been my preferred choice or even a horseradish or leek mash. Anyway I thoroughly enjoyed it nevertheless. My wife had the Halloumi burger & really enjoyed it. The black forest brownie with raspberry sorbet was amazing & my wife was shocked that I ordered it as I don't usually go for a chocolate based pudding I'm normally a traditional pudding person & the sticky toffee pudding would have been my first choice but I wanted something sharp & the raspberry sorbet really hit the spot (anyway I can have the sticky toffee on Friday when we return). My wife had the Affogato & she said it was the best one she'd had. The portions aren't huge & that's due to quality and not quantity & although I'm a big eater we both left feeling full & not uncomfortable. Really looking forward to returning Friday where we both try something different although I may just have to have the soup again it was that good.

We have just had the most disappointing experience at the daffodil. We went expecting a treat going by the website and other reviews. How wrong we were! After being told it was a set Sunday menu we were presented with a very basic choice of fayre. We opted for the ultimate roast which had been ultimately microwaved and not very thoroughly! The music was more fitting for a club! to add insult to injury we were charged for a double gin that I did not ask for! If you go thinking the food is going to look like it does on the photos, big mistake! We now have coasters in the shape of Yorkshire puddings and the dog enjoyed the rest of it but we will l not return!

We also had take away fish and chips the following night, they were amazing, definitely the best we've ever had, crispy, not greasy and included mushy peas and tartar sauce. Fab!

We have been here for a meal a few times and we have never been disappointed. The food is always excellent and there is a great ambiance about the place. After talking to the owner last night about the tough times they have had during COVID I can only encourage people to get booked up there and let’s support them. This is probably my favourite pub in the whole of the country and can’t wait to visit again. 5 stars every time from me!

Food was great. Table was too small for a family of 3. Sadly the Sunday lunch was short on vegetables which was a shame (in my opinion priced at the high end of the market). However the biggest reason for the rating was the dogs. We are not dog lovers. At one point there were three dogs barking loudly. Now if you like dogs then that is fine but if you don’t it puts a downer on the event which it did for us. When we got the bill we found that we had been charged an extra £2 per head for a Yorkshire Pudding and Stuffing which had been offered to us but no mention that this would be an additional charge (not on the menu as extras either).

We arrived for the second sitting and the place was obviously full and busy but the staff were polite and unflustered. It felt very COVID safe with hand gel and masks worn by everyone until seated. The 4 of us all had different starters, mains and puddings and all the food was well presented and tasted great. A slightly alternative menu which we appreciated. We enjoyed our leisurely evening together. When we’re in the area we will definitely go again.

Booked for 2.15 pm, friendly helpful staff but not very knowledgeable but quickly found out to answer questions, several staff served us, would have been better if just one looked after us.We asked if we could have Yorkshire pudding and stuffing with one meal, we was asked if we all wanted the same, I said yes but no stuffing to which my daughter said she would have mine, when we got the bill they were all charged extra which was quite a shock, as they was not that brilliant and at no time was we told it was going to cost us £1 for each extra item. The roast potatoes were hard and seemed like they had been cooked for the opening of the day and stayed on the hot plate for the next couple of hours. My Grandson had the burger meal with chips which were cold not even luke warm, when we pointed this out the waiter said he would warm up in the microwave, they came back hard.Worst £125.00 ever spent.Looking at the reviews which are all good I can only assume they were having a bad day and the chef had finished for the day.For such a nice place with plenty of staff would never go there again.

Visited Friday 13th August 2021 3 adults and 2 children. Service was a little slow as we arrived at 5.30pm, and we must have had about 3 members of staff visit our table, but no one took any orders from us. Eventually we ordered 2 x cheeseburgers, confit chicken thighs with chimmichurri sauce, 10oz sirloin & beef fillet stroganoff. Plus a drinks order, which did arrive. A little later the food arrived and everything looked good. I ate a little of my steak and thought, that's a little cold! Ate a mushroom and that was stone cold! My plate was cold too. I mentioned it in our group and the chicken was cold too! Managed to get someone's attention and explained to them and they were quick to apologise and take it away. The restaurant manager popped over and said that the steak would have been rested and would have been at room temperature. To which I did reply and say that there was not temperature to the steak and the mushrooms were stone cold too and as for the chicken, well......The staff suddenly became tentative! And our new meals returned. The chicken was better and the steak came on a warm plate. The steak was not the best cut, very hard to chew, in fact the last 4 mouthfuls were the best. But I ate it, because I was hungry. Our boys had the sticky toffee pudding, cookies and ice cream, and we had a coffee. Paid for the bill and left at 8.10pm So, would we recommend it? Not sure, possibly we were the unlucky ones and we had the rough steak! The other thing was that on the main menu there was an awful lot of items that were missing, due to no delivery or something. So would it have been easier to just print a new menu, with what was available and incorporate the specials, I think soo...The setting and the ambiance was great at The Daffodil, just the food didn't make it for us, sorry Daffodil...

I had lamb my husband had steak our eldest daughter had beef cheek and our youngest had chicken burger which looked amazing we were really looking forward to the duo of welsh cheese and bara brith for dessert but they had sold out so went for sticky toffee pudding which really was beautiful nothing was too much trouble we were made to feel very welcome and we’ll definitely be back again when in Wales ignore the tiny amount of negative comments on here it really is amazing food we had such a lovely evening and was still talking about it this morning thank you for having us and our whippet!

We read the Trip advisor reviews and couldn’t wait to eat here, we were staying in New Quay and wanted to venture out to try somewhere new. The menu looked great, reviews looked great so we booked a day in advance. We arrived and it was the usual COVID speech of masks on if going to the bar or the loo etc, and that was fine, we were seated at the back of the restaurant in a corner and waited for our server. We were greeted by a polite young lady and asked about drinks and specials, she informed us she was very new to the job, but did her best. My partner ordered a Wine spritzer with lemonade and I asked for a beer, out of their craft selection, the young lady informed us she wasn’t sure how to put a spritzer through and she wasn’t sure about the beers so would get her colleague to come and let us know what was on the menu. After about 5 mins she came back and said they had a small selection of craft beers and offered the types they had, i made a request and she was unsure so i went to the bar to order it. After another 5 mins our drinks were brought to us, and the spritzer my partner ordered was wrong, so that went back to bar and again we waited another 5 mins for this to be brought to us, in which time our starters arrived.Mine was the Pork cheek with celeriac and my partner ordered the Lamb. Both were well presented if not for them being slightly small, the pork cheek was over cooked and battered in bread crumbs which was not expected, the lamb however was slightly over cooked but very tasty.NOW- for our main, we ordered the fish platter- which was sold to us as a pretty amazing selection of fish and seafood with a salad and a few other bits, and sadly this could not have been more wrong. What we got was a confusing mix of hot and cold food piled onto a dinner plate, with two shot glasses filled with a blended concoction of scallop and squid…this was hot and salty and very fishy, the salmon and smoked mackerel was cold, the sole and squid rings were hot. It was all served sitting on top of microwaved new potatoes, carrots and parsnips, with watercress and a salad of lettuce, raw courgette and mixed peppers…along with a small helping of tartar sauce. After splitting the dish between us ( its a sharing platter) we were left with the equivalent of a small fish starter that really did not have much range, it seems that the chef is trying to offer a gourmet style dish but falling very short. My partner was very excited initially about the seafood platter but halfway through could not eat it. We left the majority of it on our plates, paid our bill and left, very disappointed and still very hungry, my partner once back at home was also unwell.I understand the hospitality sector has taken a massive hit over the last year and things are slowly getting back to some sort of normal, but i have to say this is one of the worst experiences we have had, both in terms of the service and the food.

Really lovely food here and dog friendly too. Bit on the pricey side I would say at £28 for a steak and sauce compared to £15 for beef cheek. Enjoyed the food though but you need to book, I booked for a Saturday night a month in advance.

The restaurant is quite unassuming from the outside being in a very small village, however on the inside it is spacious and well laid out with thought given to social distancing. The serving staff were pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu particularly given dietary requirements. We were seated quickly despite a requested table change and drinks arrived promptly. The food itself although a little slow to arrive was very tasty and portions adequate. Again throughout the meal the serving staff were attentive but not intrusive whilst we were eating. All in all a very enjoyable dining experience - steaks cooked to exact personal preference!

A fantastic restaurant with conscientious, professional staff and amazing food. It is definitely a must to book in advance as it is clearly popular and with social distancing, they do not have the indoor capacity that they would usually have. The restaurant was well presented and clean and tables were well spaced. We had what is described as 'counter seating' but were more than happy with our higher table and bar stools with backs. The restaurant clearly takes pride in the quality of their food and we were impressed by our meals. My husband had one of the steak options and I had the beef cheek which was incredibly tender. The dessert options were also excellent and all the food was presented beautifully. The staff clearly have a good understanding of allergies and dietary requirements and checked with me about one item as I have a nut allergy. In the conversation, the member of staff explained that they prepare food for people with allergies in a separate area of the kitchen and he also commented on understanding the difference between a gluten intolerance and coeliac disease - this attitude impressed me.Everything about our experience would make us recommend The Daffodil to others and we would gladly return regularly if it wasn't over 200 miles from home!

The 4 of us had fantastic food, there was nothing we could fault with the food and drinks. However the waiting staff didn’t appear to communicate well, as when we arrived we ordered our drinks with one member of staff, and within 5 mins we were asked if we’d like any drinks by 2 different members of staff. This was a theme throughout the evening. But overall, an enjoyable evening.

Went here for what would be our first wedding anniversary meal, had one fluffy pup in toe. Upon arrival we were made to feel very welcome. Staff very attentive serving Leo a nice bowl of water firstChose this restaurant due to the reviews and gluten free options. Recently discovered I’m gluten intolerant and find eating out a nightmare well not here! Normally I’d go for food I don’t have often at home. Sounds boring but I’ve really been missing basic fish and chips. Went for beer battered sea bass - amazing batter crispy & wouldn’t have known it was gluten free. The true test - a lot of gluten free alternatives end up soggy, chewy or dry. Desert well it had to be cheese cake and no photos it didn’t hang around long enough! All washed down with G&T. Hubby went for steak cooked to perfection matched his preferences medium rare. Pooch got lucky with a few chips for good behaviour :)Staff were busy still well organised and we never waited long for drinks / food. Well worth a visit if your in the area

A gastronomic pub that really deserves its Michelin Award. After a happy week self-catering in Ceredigion we treated ourselves to a night out at the Daffodil: Scallops / Smoked Duck and Baked Tofu were our starters - really melt in the mouth. For our main course we shared the fish platter for two and had the pork tenderloin- both very good. The squid rings particularly melt in the mouth. The Lemmon posset special dessert was both refreshing and rich and creamy.Wine list short but all we tried were very good. All in all managed to be both a relaxing setting and top quality food.

Finding somewhere we can all eat out as a family can be a challenge as my son is coeliac and menu choices are at best limited and at worst non-existent. However The Daffodil had a great choice which actually left him struggling to decide what to have and believe me, those of you in our situation, will vouch that that is a very rare occurrance! (He went with the sourdough starter with oil and balsamic dip followed by the cranberry burger topped with brie and bacon, fries and an apple and vegetable slaw by the way). The staff/owner were also very knowledgable and accommodating. We visited in the evening and were seated near the open bi-fold doors over-looking the terrace. The food was absolutely delicious, well cooked and beautifully presented. It was also very good value for money. We would definitely recommend a visit and we'll be back next time we're in the area.

We went to the daffodil after finding it online and reading some of the reviews. We had been searching g for a decent restaurant all week. Wow we really found one. From the moment we arrived we felt COVID safe being met at the door and directed to our table after a COVID briefing on the rules. The decor was lovely and very relaxing from the start. Once seated we were quickly attended to and throughout our visit all the staff were friendly, making us feel welcome. There was a good selection of drinks with a guest pale ale, which I had a pint of, in fact I had 2. The Sunday menu was very good with lots of choice. After we made our choice we were served quickly and the food was excellent. Starters we had humous and I had squid and chorizo salad. Mains, lamb and I had pork belly. Everything was superb, good quality food well cooked and very tasty. We decided to have a sweet, which again was beautiful. All in all it was a terrific dining experience with terrific staff, beautiful surroundings and above all superb food all at we considered a reasonable price for the experience.

We went for Sunday lunch. There was Pork loin or Beef to choose from. We chose pork and it was lovely. There were 7 side vegetables, all beautifully cooked also Apple sauce and gravy. For desert there was a large choice. I chose the home made meringues with summer fruits and whipped cream. The meringues were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. They were beautiful as they were not too sweet and the fruit and cream complemented the meringues very well. My husband chose the home made apple flan with ice cream and that was also very much enjoyed. The staff are very welcoming and we will certainly be back. Thank you.
