We fondly remembered the sandwich station from a previous visit to the island a few years ago, so we just had to visit again during our latest holiday. We ate here twice during our week (once with the Mogabout island tour) and we were not disappointed. They still serve great sandwiches on great bread so if you are visiting Arran you have to go there. Just make sure you are hungry as the sandwiches are substantial.

Sunday lunch the 26th of November and fully booked months ago. Easy to see why....Fantastic food great ambience and service. Very relaxing better than any Glasgow or London experience. Starters of local crab and stuffed mushrooms followed by the most delightful local lamb and beautifully cooked Haddock.Topped of by a lovely home made carmel and apple pie....a byo and no corkage charge . A big thankyou to bRino? In the kitchen and wonderful service from Valirie and Jessica..Alan and Christina Dunn Largs....a must visit for good food lovers.

We were a bit disappointed with our visit here. Apart from one lovely waitress the staff weren’t very attentive. Two of the younger staff were messing about behind the bar rather than serving customers. The food wasn’t the quality you would expect for the price- We had a small steak and chips with no veg and an open seafood lasagne which was really bitter.

The good is decent enough but I always leave feeling it’s never quite worth the money. Kids meals are 9 quid and don’t even include a drink. It could easily be (and often is for us) the most expensive meal you’ll have on the island, without ever really delivering anything to justify that tag.

We came for a spot of lunch and my partner ordered a panini and I had asked for a plain scone (toasted). The waitress returned with a fruit scone toasted and I explained that I had asked for a plain scone. The waitress took the scone away and then came back with it to advise that there aren’t any plain scones and I would need to pay for it as it had been toasted. I was also told that I had asked for a fruit scone, but I never, and this was verified by my partner. Plus, I can’t eat fruit scones. The service was really poor and not customer focused. I would not come back.

We had a great meal in this excellent restaurant. They serve what they call 'Scottish Tapas', letting you try lots of different dishes with a Scottish slant. There are Meat, Fish and Vegetarian options with lots of side dishes and all of the ones we chose were delicious. And the waiting staff were helpful, efficient and charming. Would go again at the drop of a hat.

We went with our baby and dog a couple of times during our stay. The food, both sweet and savoury, is delicious. Fantastic selection of cakes with quite a few different to what you usually find in a tearoom (in a good way!). They do takeaway on some of the savoury options and the cakes if you can't get a seat as the cafe has limited seating. Lovely, friendly staff who made us feel welcome.

Nice family / home cooked style restaurant in a BYOB / front room environment. Staff welcoming and attentive, food decent - as long as your expectations are measured (good food, cooked competently) - didn’t disappoint. Nice ambience, lovely views if table at window, and relatively well priced. Good menu.

Had lunch and cakes here, one of the best places for to go for food during the day on the island. It’s well liked and well known by a lot of visitors. People have been going for 20 years+. Got some history about it and the place has never changed. Highly recommend the specialty meringue cake dish. It’s huge but worth it. Really disappointed about the annoying opening hours. We drove to visit one day on a Saturday and it was closed. Turns out it was SHUT FRIDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY, MONDAY EVERY WEEK DURING THE SUMMER PEAK PERIOD!! And we’ve found it it’ll be closed over winter too. We hear it’s to do with staffing issues which is a current issue but it was really disappointing to be closed on such busy peak days. Doesn’t make sense and we drove all that way

A fantastic place to come for lunch. The food was amazing! I came with my partner and my friend’s family (4 adults, 2 kids). 2 of the party have dietary needs- 1 celiac and 1 who has a lactose intolerance. I have to say, not only was the food fantastic, but the Gluten free options were fantastic, and the staff were amazing. Not only were they friendly, but they all seemed to have fantastic knowledge of the foods they were selling and the allergens that were in them. We were really impressed and actually returned a second time. The second time was just as good as the first. Definitely worth a visit!

Corrie tea room and golf course are perfect examples of Arran at its best….full of character and welcoming. We had an excellent lunch of sandwiches and delicious soup, with great friendly service. Just what we wanted ahead of playing the wonderful golf course. Would thoroughly recommend.
