We fondly remembered the sandwich station from a previous visit to the island a few years ago, so we just had to visit again during our latest holiday. We ate here twice during our week (once with the Mogabout island tour) and we were not disappointed. They still serve great sandwiches on great bread so if you are visiting Arran you have to go there. Just make sure you are hungry as the sandwiches are substantial.

Sunday lunch the 26th of November and fully booked months ago. Easy to see why....Fantastic food great ambience and service. Very relaxing better than any Glasgow or London experience. Starters of local crab and stuffed mushrooms followed by the most delightful local lamb and beautifully cooked Haddock.Topped of by a lovely home made carmel and apple pie....a byo and no corkage charge . A big thankyou to bRino? In the kitchen and wonderful service from Valirie and Jessica..Alan and Christina Dunn Largs....a must visit for good food lovers.

We'd read good things online so stopped by on our way from Lochranza to the Machrie Stones. It's worth noting the car park is quite 'rugged' as you come in so you need to drive slowly for the sake of your suspension! It's also a bit tricky to park; it was very, very busy the day we were there and unfortunately not everyone had parked well, so we squeezed into the last available space (at the time). Speaking of busy, I'm not sure if you can reserve tables but that might be worth doing if you can, especially during the Summer; we ended up sitting outside, so would gave missed out had it been raining. We both tried the Pides - one vegetarian, one chicken - and they were delicious. The base in particular is lovely and it comes with a big bowl of salad to share, which we actually couldn't finish since it was all very filling. After looking round the shops we returned for tea/coffee and cake, and managed to sit inside this time. There is a huge range of Suki teas and the spicy one I tried was really nice. My hubby had a scone with jam & cream with his coffee and really enjoyed it. All the staff were really friendly and welcoming. The only minor point is that I was a tiny bit uneasy when the chef (owner?) came out to speak to someone wearing a very stained tee-shirt, but I give the benefit of the doubt that in the kitchen he would have been wearing a (cleaner) apron, hair-covering, etc.

Four of us on a cycle tour called in this morning for breakfast after getting off the ferry. My husband and I had the veggie breakfast and we can honestly say it was the tastiest and best value breakfast we have ever had. Poached eggs, delicious mushrooms, spinach, grilled halloumi, toast and the tomatoes, oh the tomatoes, plentiful and the very best taste ever 😋😋😋 I must also mention that the staff were all very efficient and friendly. We are sadly unlikely to ever be there again but would advise anyone to try the veggie breakfast.

We had a great meal in this excellent restaurant. They serve what they call 'Scottish Tapas', letting you try lots of different dishes with a Scottish slant. There are Meat, Fish and Vegetarian options with lots of side dishes and all of the ones we chose were delicious. And the waiting staff were helpful, efficient and charming. Would go again at the drop of a hat.

Definitely not the best eating experience. No atmosphere and indifferent staff. Food was poor watery sauces cheap ingredients factory made fish goujons with Tata sauce from a jar my wife couldn't eat. Cheap prawns and she is still looking for the crab in the starter. The venison steak was ok but some of the worst potatoes I've had. Definitely won't be going back.

A fantastic place to come for lunch. The food was amazing! I came with my partner and my friend’s family (4 adults, 2 kids). 2 of the party have dietary needs- 1 celiac and 1 who has a lactose intolerance. I have to say, not only was the food fantastic, but the Gluten free options were fantastic, and the staff were amazing. Not only were they friendly, but they all seemed to have fantastic knowledge of the foods they were selling and the allergens that were in them. We were really impressed and actually returned a second time. The second time was just as good as the first. Definitely worth a visit!

Corrie tea room and golf course are perfect examples of Arran at its best….full of character and welcoming. We had an excellent lunch of sandwiches and delicious soup, with great friendly service. Just what we wanted ahead of playing the wonderful golf course. Would thoroughly recommend.
