Amazing take away food. I popped in to get a late lunch (2.30pm) and had an wonderful steak pie for around 2 pounds. Had to go back the next day and had the quiche lorraine and a rice crispy cake. Both delicious. Very reasonably priced. The only caveat is it sells out fast, so make sure to not leave it to too late in the day!

We spent a week in Arran in August and tried out quite a few of the different bakeries / coffee shops (we did a lot of exercise, honest). Wooleys in Brodick was the only one we revisited. The main reason was value for money. The coffee was excellent, the cakes and quiches were delicious and it was VERY reasonably priced. I go to a lot of "cycling cafes" in the UK on my various rides and usually pay 1/3 to 1/2 as much again for a couple of coffees and a couple of snacks. I think the first time we went we had a couple of hot drinks and a couple of tray bakes and it was about 8 quid. Not only that, it was lovely and the service was excellent. On the last day, we picked up a couple of quiches, a couple of cakes, 1 coffee and a pack of their oatcakes and it came to £12. I don't want to paint myself as someone who worries more about money than quality so just to be clear, this was brilliant value for excellent food and coffee!! I implore you, you MUST try the gingerbread! We will be back!

We always go here once off the boat and sit over at the shore front to eat. This is a fantastic little bakery with food to die for. The pies surpass any other bakery in our opinion. The steak pie and steak and black pudding pie are crammed full with meat. The haggis and cheesy mash pie is delicious too. And the pizza wraps are like a full sized pizza wrapped up, we need to share it between two! We haven't tried any of the sweet treats because we know we'll be full after the savory but they do look amazing. We eat here almost every day for lunch when we are visiting Arran. I didn't have any bad experiences with the staff. They seemed pleasant enough.

Always call here a few times when on Arran. The different amount of cakes and pies etc is great. This time over several days we had plain steak pie, steak and black pudding, haggis and cheesey mash, steak slice, pizza wraps and sausage rolls. The steak in their pies is gorgeous big chunks that fall apart in your mouth. No fat or gristle at all. The best cake slice by far was the raspberry and coconut. Wish they did deliveries to England. Overall highly recommended as it puts the likes of Greggs etc to shame. Can't wait for next Arran visit to sample more goodies. Cheers Wooleys

We were a bit disappointed with our visit here. Apart from one lovely waitress the staff weren’t very attentive. Two of the younger staff were messing about behind the bar rather than serving customers. The food wasn’t the quality you would expect for the price- We had a small steak and chips with no veg and an open seafood lasagne which was really bitter.
