Really nice restaurant with friendly staff, i am here with my elderly parents, the staff couldn't of been more helpful with my dad who struggles with his mobility, food was tasty, restaurant in general was really modern and very clean, toilets were immaculate, i couldn't of picked a better venue for Sunday dinner, a big thank you for a lovely visit.

Disgusted that I turned up with friends to an almost empty establishment yet told that all tables were booked...despite only one table with a Reserved sign on it. Was it because we arrived on our motorcycles...does this business see us as lesser people...who knows but be assured we will never return...great that you can turn away 100's of £s of business. Staff were actually seen to be shaking their heads to someone indoors as we approached.

Came out here with family members to enjoy a walk round the gardens and finished up with a bite to eat in the cafe. Menu, even though limited at this time, has something for everybody. Toasties, baked potatoes, bagels ~ all of which come with plenty of filling, waffles, pancakes and plenty more sweet treats. What's not to love. Don't let previous reviews mislead you.

We had the hotel breakfast as we were actually on our way to Cairnryan for the ferry. The breakfast was typical Scottish food served and cooked just fine. The hotel experience was very nice with all staff most helpful. One thing to note is that there is no taxi service on Sunday morning before 8:00 a.m. so if you have an early ferry there is no way to get there without a car. Later in the morning there is a bus service to the port area. The port area is about 15 minutes away by bus.

Myself and two friends decided to pop in here for breakfast one morning 2 of us had the big breakfasts and the other had a breakfast roll. The big breakfasts were very large. I personally wasn't keen on the link sausage but that's just personal preference my friend liked there's everything els was exelent. There condaments were in individual sashets and the tomato ketchup wasn't nice all 3 of us agreed on that. The service was exelent. We were handed menus as soon as we sat down. Once we placed our order the drinks arived quickly and our food not long behind it. All in all very good experience just avoid the ketchup

The food was very gd quality the only I found was the portion size of chips on the 2 adult portions was very small and the fish and chips came with 1 small peice of fish which at the price was ridiculous. You'd think these places would be providing a better service given the big companies are now in the town selling Pizza and baked goods and possibly a large burger chain in the way all which sell their product for alot less than the local chip ships can.

Found this gem of a place after a walk around Stranraer and managed to find a table on a busy Saturday morning. We had the scrambled eggs on toast and one of the delicious apple pastries with soooo tasty coffee. We had to wait a while as the place was packed but the staff were dealing with the queue very efficiently. Very friendly atmosphere too!! Loved everything about this place
