Very enjoyable evening. Exceptional cuisine. Delightful atmosphere. Impeccable service. The scallops (photo below) were the best we’ve ever had. The added Kale and bacon just worked! Entire team treated us like we’re family. 10 stars!!

This is an exceptional restaurant, where we had the most memorable meal that we have ever had. We were celebrating our silver wedding anniversary. We had a wonderful evening and felt very warmly welcomed by staff. All the service was highly professional. Every course of the dinner menu was exquisite (7 courses + snacks + extra sweets). This menu is expensive but well worth the money. The fish courses were our favourites. I could not quite eat all of the sweet items at the end; I think perhaps it was because of the richness of the previous courses. But each one was exciting and delicious. The drinks mark-up is high but the wine is excellent. So it was a thoroughly delightful evening and we will certainly come again for another special occasion. Thank you.

£8.50 for a takeaway cheese toastie and cup of tea, absolutely shocking.

Beautiful building and decorated to a high spec inside. Food was delicious for all 3 courses. Service was good but less personable than you’d get with the smaller restaurants.

We ended there by coincidence. Bur we were not sorry. Food was good, we enjoyed the brunch a lot. It could be nice to be there some evening, when they have live music.

A fantastic place for a great Scottish meal . The service was immaculate and the food was fantastic. Limited menu but had a wide range. I had the Macarek for starters and the steak for mains, both fantastic. The mushroom from the vegetarian that my friends has was great as well. Mille-feuille for dessert was fantastic as well. Love the ambience as it felt like outside but we were inside in unpredictable Scottish weather. A bit on the pricey side but great for special occasions 😄. Was around £70 per head with wine and drinks .

Tan decepcionado - Fui allí esta noche pedí vestido eglefino y patatas fritas como una realización. Lovely looking cafe in Glasgow's West End. I had haddock with some coleslaw, my partner had burger and chips, and we both had a mug of tea each. My haddock initially had a strange taste and I soon realised it was the tartare sauce. It was horrible! I ate what I could of the rest but the tartare sauce left a nasty taste in my mouth. That said, I had a few chips from my girlfriend's plate and they were very nice. No grease at all, and in fairness the fish wasn't greasy either. My girlfriend didn't really enjoy her burger saying that the bun didn't taste great and the Gold Star tomato ketchup wasn't great either. The lady who served us though was so welcoming and friendly and a credit to this place. She was lovely and the tip we gave was for her. The cafe is basic but equally quite stylish with exposed brickwork lit up which I liked, and the prices were OK. Please, please, please though get rid of them tartare sauce sachets. I know Gold Star tomato ketchup is what chippies in Scotland use so I can't really suggest changing. I did like the coleslaw though. Food. 6/10 Service. 10/10

Welcoming atmosphere all year round, recommend coming on a Sunday if you want a relaxing aperitif in a chilled environment 👍 Dog friendly pub 👍🐕 UPDATE: No more Morretti but replacement of Estrella Galicia is still a winner 🍺
