The best restaurants serving British food in Edinburgh, City of Edinburgh and Lothian

Very cute cafe, the service was super friendly and accommodating. I had the pumpkin toast, which was very tasty and something extraordinary. There are many interesting combinations on the menu that are something different. There is also a good selection for vegetarians.

Visited Edinburgh and stayed in Leith. We found this cafe and ate there a couple times. It was wonderful! The food was delicious. If you like very strong coffee this is the place to get it. I hope to visit again in the future. Highly recommended!

They appear to have closed but are giving no information!!! I have a voucher as I have seen other people write here and I can't get any response or money back. It's atrocious. Surely they cannot keep socials open and be listed in Michelin guide when they've gone under by the looks of it. But why so secret with no note that they have closed??

Sublime tasting menu. Stand out dish for me was the bergamot granita and cream cheese. Waiting staff were attentive. Open pass lets you see the dishes come to life. Restaurant is cozy and warm. All round perfect experience.

They have nice staff and lovely food orders. There’s good space for parents to bring their kids and I’ve mainly seen customers visit the place for a soup.

Absolutely amazing. Great breakfast, great service. We spent over an hour just enjoying this space.

Great value pre theatre menu and yummy cocktails.

Pierre and Rich were phenomenal. The marriage of flavour between the food and wine was amazing. I would fully recommend the experience. :)

This has be one of my favorite whiskey experiences in a long, long time. The folks that work here know their stuff so well and it made for such an entertaining and educational afternoon. The whiskeys themselves are just exceptional. You can find some rarities that you may have never tasted before. The approach this group takes on the naming of their whiskeys is just so fun and entertaining. Can’t recommend it enough. It’s definitely worth the effort to get out there and see it
