Always stop here when in Morningside, coffee is beautiful with a smiley face on the lid! Really nice staff too . Well worth stopping at!

These are the types of places visitors need to go to when visiting Edinburgh. Downtown has great food, but the hidden gems in the suburbs are what really shine. This cafe is the perfect spot to stop in for a warm quick breakfast and amazing coffee. Since we are foreigners from the US, it is nice to go to a place where you feel welcome and the staff engage with you. We talked about our visit to Edinburgh. Customer service, food, coffee. This place has the full experience!

A true hidden gem. Gorgeous coffee and a well-curated selection of tasty sandwiches. The young woman at the helm on the day I visited was rushed off her feet, but doing an amazing job. Big up to her. I’d like to have seen her sleepy-looking male colleague do more to assist her than nonchalantly rolling a fag in the back room. Maybe he was on his break? I mean him no disrespect, but he was “on display”, chilling out, and she was as busy as hell. It wouldn’t have killed him to help her out. That said, I will definitely return. Looking forward to it already!

This is a lively, stylish venue right in the heart of Edinburgh. They cater for Vegans. Food is delicious.

La última vez que estuve en Rose Street fue en 1964 cuando trabajé en Edimburgo y visité Rose Street con Friends from Work, por lo que fue encantador volver después de todos esos años. Last year, mum and I found Max Bakes. Mum had haggis and black pudding and I had feta and spinach. I had never had haggis or black pudding (always put off by the ingredients 🤦‍♀️) I tried mums and vice versa...both were delicious! This year we planned to hunt Max Bakes down, worrying he may not be here this year, and much to our delight we found him in the exact same spot! (later we found out he is a permanent fixture not just for The Fringe) We order two haggis and black pudding rolls and they were as good as we remembered! Two very happy travellers 😁

Those two ladies that served us were so happy and kind to us and loved to talk! The sandwich we ordered was made with fresh ingredients and grilled, very tasty!

Have drank, ate and laughed here many times! Great bar with amazing staff and friendly banter. They show all the big sports, have karaoke and quizzes! Great shots menu so grab your friends for shots and shenanigans

Unpretentious, friendly, homemade, affordable. Not easy to find cafe's like this so close to the city centre.

i had a lovely cup of coffee with my mum it was so peaceful. was a bit tricky to find but we found it eventually!!!!! i also went to the one in roseburn which was a super nice experience. it was a trouble getting parked but we found one.

Nos encontramos con este pequeño restaurante dirigido por marido y mujer por casualidad. Su comida es fabulosa. Tenía su mezcla de marisco, su sopa Cullen Skink y su filete Aberdeen Angus Sirloin en diferentes ocasiones. Los tres platos fueron las comidas con mejor sabor de la historia. Vale la pena cada centavo. Muy recomendable.

Qué bueno tener este pequeño 'puesto callejero' en el hermoso parque Inverleith. Los cafés son frescos, fuertes y buenos y los postres rotativos pueden tener sus viejos favoritos como galletas de chispas de chocolate o nuevos artículos imaginativos que puede descubrir. Me encanta que siempre tengan un tazón de agua fresco para perros. ¡Toma una cuppa y disfruta del parque!

Almuerzo familiar para celebrar la graduación. Seleccionó The Tower porque había escuchado cosas buenas sobre él y sus hoteles y restaurantes hermanos en Edimburgo. Reserva telefónica muy eficiente y llamada de seguimiento el día anterior para confirmar la reserva. Nos hicieron sentir muy bienvenidos cuando todos llegamos. Buena selección de menús y amplia gama de vinos. La comida y el servicio excelente, el personal era muy atento y sabía su oficio. Un bonito toque por parte del personal al final de nuestro almuerzo al traer una pizarra de "felicitaciones". . . . . ¿Recomendaría la torre? Sí ¿Volvería otra vez - Sí ¿Probaría sus restaurantes y hoteles hermanos? Sí
