The best restaurants serving British food in Edinburgh and Lothian

We dined with friends on a quiet evening. The food was delicious, my venison was so tender. Attentive staff, but didn't rush us as we chatted while taking our time to order.

Fantastic breakfast, the haggis was amazing and is a rare treat for me.

This place is wonderful! I'm glad I went there, that was the best experience. We decided to take a drink upstairs before dinning and that was the right decision. They installed us in a lovely living room. The staff is always attentive to make sure you have all you need. On the top of that, the food was delicious! Especially the cheesecake with their honey. Would definitely recommend it, that's worth it...

Lovely setting but breakfast was poor & definitely not value for money. Fried egg was hard, bacon looked anorexic & tattie scones were so tough you could not cut them with a knife. Coffee was good. I love Craigie’s because fruit & Veg are fab & the Argentinian beef stir fry is to die for. However, I’m afraid I won’t be eating there again anytime soon.

Great food and customer service

Had a decent pint in warm out door tented area after Murrayfield Rugby game. Decent crowd. Would recommend.

Breakfast items not refilled. Food not great quality. Service not quite up to par.

Their tacos are quite pathetic. There's not much more to say about their food.

Fuimos en noviembre, así que la decoración de Navidad estaba arriba y precioso! Ambiente muy festivo. El servicio estaba bien. El té y la porción salada de la torre eran sabrosos. No soy mucho si una persona dulce, así que solo me comí el bollo.
