We had to wait 45 minutes for starter, but when we asked about it they were excellent and got it straight away and all gave us all a free drink, steak night excellent value and I like that you can mix n match menus

Went here for Sunday lunch and can honestly say was worst ever. The chicken was rubbery, the vegetables were all obviously frozen, gravy was like jelly , the roast potatoes and parsnips a poor effort - nothing like real thing. It was all tasteless & bland. Very disappointing and complete waste of money. Will definitely not be back nor will we recommend.

The meal was excellent and the food stunning. The newly refurbished clubhouse looked great and with about 20 others the atmosphere was good. Great views over the course. Best thing was the range of food available and the worst was the huge portions!! Fantastic value for money. The service was extremely friendly and very helpful. Happy people!! The "secret eatery" in Kirriemuir which is not well known with the public. The range of drinks available is also great at good prices. Everyone should try it and then become a social member for not much! Well done to the staff.

Forget fish and chips. If this place is open go in a buy a smokie to eat on the harbour. Get it split and microwaved. I paid £7.50 for mine which is more than a couple of years ago but it is well worth it. See picture. Very friendly and helpful staff. I was the man on his way down from Aberdeen!

I stayed here for 2 nights on a room only basis. I was in Arbroath to watch football. The hotel is in the Town centre. I had a warm welcome when I got there. The room was more than adequate for my requirements, ensure with tea and coffee making facilities. The hotel had a downstairs bar and varied menu to choose from. Overall, it was value for money and there are plentynof pubs and eating places nearby.

My wife has suggested for years that we visit Tutties Neuk. Well, today we finally did it. We were welcomed by the friendly staff and were seated at a table in the bar. The menu features a good choice of dishes with fish and meat sourced from suppliers within the town. My wife chose the beer battered haddock while I opted for the Arbroath Smokie macaroni cheese. For thoseof you who don't know, an Arbroath Smokie is a type of smoked haddock unique to Arbroath. The portions were generous and my wife thought the haddock was excellent. My macaroni cheese was mind blowing - the perfect balance of flavours between the smoked haddock and the cheese sauce. Will definetely be back, Must try the Cullen Skink next time and the steak pie.

Had nice lunch at Franco's in Carnoustie. Lovely food and excellent customer service by the amazing Paula, who was extremely pleasant and looked after us ensuring that we had an enjoyable experience. Definitely looking forward to going back next time we are in Carnoustie 😊

Visited for a mother's Day dinner. The food was good quality and good value for money. However, the service was atrocious despite that only being two other tables occupied in the restaurant at the time we visited. The staff seemed largely inept and disinterested. The service was so bad at one point we were rolling about laughing.

We were in for a dinner ( pre show at Webster) booked table for 5.45,show started 7.30 ,directly across from restaurant, the food was lovely ,girls serving were pleasant and polite.sadly we ended up late for show , embarrassing as we had to wait for a break in music to get taken to our seats ,even when we paid our bill before our dessert arrived,it .made our meal stressful and not the relaxing time we had hoped for ,service was so slow .I appreciate it was busier than usual but I am sure they are aware when a show is on

A very good deal really. Absolute beautiful location. Quiet. Rural. Beautiful beach in very short walking distance. Service is very good. The breakfast spread is very good. The room is basic, but clean and comfortable. And the price was under 50 pounds. I consider this very good value for money. I will come back again. For dinner, considering it is rural, we drove about 8 miles to Arbroath Old Boatyard Restaurant which is also highly recommendable.
