The best restaurants serving British food in North Down South Eastern NI

Food and service was ok but offer no substitutes on meals where the party had allergies. Still served the meal with items that had been requested to be taken off due to allergy. A waste of food and bad experience.

Attended a murder mystery night on Friday 1 march. Food was excellent and the event was brilliant fun. It was a gift for my birthday and my first such event. It's a brilliant night's crack in a brilliant location. Thanks to everyone involved including other diners. Highly recommend. I'll be back. Ha Ha Haaa...

We decided to meet mum for coffee one morning here. We haven’t visited here in a long time. We were really pleasantly surprised how lovely it was. Scone was baked just the way we like it, not underdone. Along with jam and cream. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Then we went into the adjoining butchers to purchase a roast and other treats, along with fruit and vegetables. Great to get everything under one roof.

Brilliant place to eat. Just like homemade food plenty of choice . The staff Gordon and G Ping are so friendly and welcoming . Even the owner Bobby always takes time to chat We have been going here for about 20 years and the way it has been developed is great. You need to go early as it’s always busy. Had lunch here a few weeks ago - excellent food and service - great beer. I never, ever, clear my plate - the delicious chicken stack ensured that I did...

We were the only people dining and the service was excellent. We had Stacked Chicken lunch and it was lovely. Meal was still warm when we’d nearly finished - this place knows to serve food on heated plates to keep it warm. Highly recommend this place for lunch.

No coffee today, sadly, sign saying cafe permanately closed😢 really missed this facility. Lovely bright spacious store, well stocked shelves, wide aisles.

Ordered on Just Eat and what they sent me (very late} was rubbish and cold All the chips were tiny scrapings . It was just awful !!!!

Quite possibly the worst chip shop I've ever eaten out off chips were reheated soggy chicken burger was dripping do yourself a favour and avoid at all cost had to throw it all away never again
